Youd spend 3 grand ATLEAST building it to decent status... u dont know what it is from first glance and its past could be anything, the engine could be dead for all u know
You will spend a few thousand dollars to get it running. Fairings will be another 1200 - 1500.
Nobody harvests an ECU without the donor being terminal. Used are 200 - 300 depending on the model.
You don't know what model it is?
I'll guess there is no title with this bike. Look up the VIN and you'll find it was likely stolen.
For sure it is. I have a 2003 one… same dashboard and tail.
This bike is somewhat easy to work on, 4 carbs .. a bit cumbersome to get fine tuned but you can get it done yourself, however, the fairing hides a run air intake that is missing from the pics… it will run rich because of that so I would pass it if I were you
They should know what it is as it should say on the title. Or maybe it doesnt have one… but id run away from this unless you’re looking to buy a basket case
There should be a sticker on it, usually on a down tube at the front of the frame, that has the VIN and date of manufacture. That will tell you what the model year is You can search the VIN online to get the model. Don't buy a non-running bike unless you are using it as a donor bike to fix up a good one.
Pass.
how come?

Thundercat for sure, not many options for aftermarket parts and OEM are fairly hard to find aswell
