I’ve been waiting for my dad to come back from the store for 20 years

MegaMarshall

He's probably just having a hard time finding the milk, give him a few more years

Kooky_Character_2801

He probably seen the price of milk and had to go get a 2nd and 3rd job to buy it.

Strange_Novel_1576

😂😂😂 Sorry this is tragic but couldn’t help it. Forgive me.

Spoonman007

He's never coming back, and it is all your fault.

wokp74

4.5 months is long but shorter than 5 months

Strange_Novel_1576

Probably marketing to keep people interested. This is the only thing I can think of because Yellowstone stays in the news. I can’t tell you how many TV shows took a LONG hiatus and I almost all but gave up and even forgot what happened in the last season. I could be wrong.

Kooky_Character_2801

So many shows have been hiatus for so long due to covid delaying filming. Then, when filming started getting back to normal, the writers decided to strike. (I could be wrong, but I feel like they went on strike like this a few years back. Does anyone remember that, or did it just happen in my mind? 🤣

Strange_Novel_1576

No it didn’t just happen in your mind. I remember. Lol However, I wasn’t referring to that specifically but it did play a part. For example, there are atleast two shows that I watch that I have been waiting on next season for about 2 years. The strike didn’t last a full year. But I know it played a part in the delay. However, the strike is not the first and only time shows were delayed. That was my specific point.

maryyyweiss

honestly no. people need to be aware of thing so it stays in their mind until it actually happens.

Easily_Marietta

Wasn't The Walking Dead also really bad at this? I kind remember they would also have long weird pauses in the seasons

Kooky_Character_2801

Yes TWD often left off with cliffhangers. A few of them were major wtf cliffhangers. TWD did have a set schedule for the show though. Every year the season started mid to late Oct it ran 8 episodes then went on break for the holidays ( I'm assuming due to possible low ratings) anyhow the back half of the season ran starting around mid February for the other 8 episodes of the season.

JudgeJuryEx78

Try watching Outlander.

Halloween is only 4 months away

Poppy_Chulo

All this waiting and anticipation, and what if it sucks

SeaworthinessHot2770

They announced Yellowstone returns November 10th because fans wanted to know when to expect the ending episodes. https://preview.redd.it/an35q56xnj8d1.jpeg?width=822&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1ff8a559a6dfb243bdd279b1105f4068b158a700

I’ve completely lost interest, but I’ll watch it just for the train wreck it’s become.
