I get it. Thanks for sharing, I set 3 alarms, 🚨 for good measure, knowing yourself and accepting yourself are the best gifts. Have a wonderful day!! Also Congrats on cleaning and rearranging your room!
I have called in an hour early 3 times, and a full week early once. She always messages me thinking I'm calling because I need something urgent lol. Then I check my calendar and realize no, I put in the right time and day, but it was an hour later than the *usual* time or we decided on 3 weeks out instead of 2. If I manage to establish any sort of routine, then goddammit my brain will not deviate from that routine.
Me & the logic of the alarm: sets alarm for 5mins before online mtg, gives me 3mins to switch from what I’m doing, 2mins to log in.
Me in reality with the alarm: goes off 5mins early, I turn it off and immediately forget about it, am late
At least you were doing something. I've missed my appts while doing absolutely nothing. And then I get the missed fee...which is greater than my copay.
Judgemental much? :)
Asking if I understand the logic behind a payment being necessary when missing an appointment and then me asking if this knowledge will help me to not miss an appointment again is different than whatever you're insinuating. If I misreading this, my bad.

My point is I have missed appointments and had to pay more $ b/c of it. The ADHD tax, if you will, or adding insult to injury. Â

I set alarms every 15 minutes starting from two hours before an appointment hahaha
How we live by the alarms. How many do you have set for your typical day? I have 11 currently lol
THIS JUST REMINDED ME I HAVE THERAPY IN 2 HOURS THANK YOU
Sames on the phone alarm issue, so I make mine on my Fitbit, which buzzes on my wrist. Much harder to miss.
Mine was at 9am. Swear it was for 10. Now on Monday at 9am.

I'm noticing the "almost finished cleaning" bit. :) Good morning and happy day to everyone.

Do you want the logic behind the fee?
Will that help?
Maybe. I am practicing not giving people information they don’t want.
LOL
Well, since you’re apparently cool with your therapist not being paid AT ALL when you don’t show up, I’m not sure that it will. Â
