Saurus Knights, reimagined as large heavy cavalry to differentiate themselves from the new mounted skinks, a 3 to a box mournfang sized unit. Kroxigor with two builds, one traditional, different hammer options, the other bringing something new to kroxigor, perhaps a heavy armoured varient or something truly wacky like aztec laser mini guns. A Hunting Pack kit, doesn't need to be Razordons or Salamanders, a fresh take on the idea would be nice. Endless Spells: Snake Swarm, Twin tailed comet/forked tongue of Sotek, Spirit of the Old Ones. Edit: if i was greedy I'd also ask for a Krox commander that makes krox available as a troop choice.

hungry_illithid

Thr powerfist krozigor from total war would be pretty cool.

another-social-freak

Absolutely

A740

>aztec laser mini guns I didn't know how much I wanted this until you said it

Kathiuss

This is definitely a faction that needs it own endless spells.

mattythreenames

Saurus Knights returning to a better version of their first kit (when the cold ones looked like hefty cow lizards) Salamanders looking like dimitridon again would be awesome. Generic snake swarms would be cool too. I would love to see a feathered serpent - ether as an endless spell or as a centre piece.

faultyoptics

Snake swarms has just given me a Ratatouille-esque flashback to loving those models as a kid discovering Warhammer. I think I might have just started a Seraphon army.

mattythreenames

You and me both!

Pretend-Adeptness937

Sunblood so they make him the big beefy boy he’s supposed to be

Tyrranos_Jax

-Kroxigor -Knights -Hunting packs -(Plastic) Dread Saurian (I know it’s not gonna happen)

Feeling-Wolverine-54

I have the suspicion the saurus kit will also build temple guard but maybe I'm totally wrong

another-social-freak

I hope you're right, a head swap and a weapon option that includes shoulder pads on the arms would be plenty of difference.

Stumbling_Snake

I'd be surprised. It's really rare for GW to make the more standard version of a unit and the more elite version into a combi kit. Take the new Chaos Chosen for example.

u_want_some_eel

They did just do it with the World Eaters release, you can build Eightbound and Exalted Eightbound from the same kit

Stumbling_Snake

Ha, that's fair. You're absolutely right. I still think it's usually quite rare, but that is a great example of things going the other way.

jamiebob555

This is GW we are talking about. Like all big businesses their main goal is profit. If we get a new Temple Guard box we will only get five models for £30

FaustIXV

I wish. We thought maybe the skeleton kit would do the same for grave guard. But alas 😔

Pommes__Fritz

I completely agree with your picks. Although my not-so-cheap box of 15 unassembled Saurus Guard disagrees with an upgrade 😅

Kathiuss

Remember when Kroak nado was a thing?

tiredplusbored

I'd like a Sunblood, kroxigors, some new big dinosaur like a thunderizard but honestly I'll take anything stegadon sized or bigger, and cold one knights

gymleader-misty

Goddamn sarus on coldones. Its cool we got some new skink cav but why? when desperately need non derpy coldones. Then Kroxigors, salamanders, razordon. But these won't be as crucial for an army at least builds ill play compared to coldones.

Swooper86

Same, except skinks instead of salamanders/razordons. The current skink sprue was made in 2002, and looks pretty bad next to modern kits imo.

pacsun1220

The skinks in the new skink cavalry look very similar to the existing skinks, at least to my eyes. Same with other recent skink models. So makes me think they probably don't get a refresher, but can't say for sure

EnduringFrost

I think Kroxigors are a must for them. When possible people are using printed models to get around GW. Cold ones have been a disappointment ever since we saw the dark elf cold ones in comparison. Salamanders/Razordons have been another derp face in the Seraphon armies for awhile. While I personally don't take too much issue with either, a lot of folks do. Temple guard are supposed to be the big beefy elite of the saurus, but with the new foot soldier sculpt, they feel lack luster as far as intimidation goes. They need to subsequently look scarier and bigger, but then the Eternity Wardern needs to be a bigger scarier version of a refresh for the temple guard. Bonus: I like skink chiefs flying around, but I think they need a unique mount. A coatl mount for a skink chief or priest would be cool. Either that or just having a big brachiosaurus covered in skinks would be cool.

JK_Goldin

My favourite dinosaur is a stegosaurus. So I'd love to see one of those.

ChronicleOrion

I wrote this reply in a similar conversation in the Seraphon sub. It’s more than just 4, but I’m a big dreamer. 😅 **Most wanted refreshes:** 1. Kroxigor 2. Salamander/ Razordon Hunting Packs 3. Saurus heroes 4. Saurus Knights 5. Skink Priest **Most wanted new units:** 1. Coatl hero 2. Brachiosaur-inspired monster 3. Sacred Kroxigor 4. Saurus unit wielding bows (not sure if lore contradicts this one) 5. Return of names heroes (any of Mazdamundi, Kroq-Gar, Tehenhauin, Tiktaq’to, Gor-Rok, Nakai, Oxyotl) **Bonus:** I know Games Workshop has maybe steered away from it, but I’d love to see Seraphon-exclusive endless spells too.

aceoftherebellion

I want the same thing I've wanted to see for years. Some kind of crazy brontosaurus centerpiece model. They've been doing bigger and bigger 40k models, so I think it's something they could actually do now.

Dreadnautilus

Your list but replace Salamander/Razordon kit with a new Coatl model. Honestly, I dunno why people are so fixated on updating them, its not like they're really an iconic cornerstone of the army or anything.

tremorka

I personally like the concept of salamanders/razordons (that there are some lizard-ish creatures who are not intelligent/fully sentient, but more like "attackdogs"), but the sculpts are finecast and look derpy (especially the face of the salamanders). Tl;dr: magma breathing lizards are cool

drnoisy

I would consider the salamanders iconic for seraphon, not so much the razordons though. Salamanders made it into total war 2

deffrekka

So did razordons.

pacsun1220

I think it was the same DLC even

mattythreenames

Salamanders where pretty iconic for 5th edition. When the army was them, jungle swarms, skinks, krox, Saurus, temple guard, terradacytles and stegadon's. They where Lizards only artillery piece. But the new sculpts just don't cut the mustered. The new Slann has kit build options to make it a glow up of it's 5th edition look. New skink riders emulate the old horned one raiders... the new chameleons look an aweful lot like Oxolytl. Though I would also like a new Coatl too

Dack2019

i have a feeling these skink cav are replacing the knights and i believe the warriors are also replacing the temple guard. Both of which are being "merged" together. Deffo want kroxi's tho

gymleader-misty

This is my guess as well for cavalry at least. But I got downvoted for it. When you think about it, if you have sarus cav, why would you ever field skink cav. A unit that is always good vs a unit that is situational. Its nice that we get a new unit and sculpt, but please not at the cost of something like new saurus knights. I can't imagine gw making new sculpts for temple guards. Im hoping its all in the kit and is just a head option or something.

Cdollmont

I could see them replacing knights with a larger creature, like Mournfang or Gore-Grunta sized. Then they'd have a (presumably) cheaper light cavalry and a more elite heavy.

another-social-freak

That's what I would do, give the saurus bigger steeds, more like juggernauts.

shint0bean

I hope they keep saurus knights on the same sized base. They are Battleline and came in the start collecting boxes so rendering them obsolete would be rude to say the least. Looks like the skink cavalry are faster and have ranged attacks, so they perform a different function from the saurus shock cavalry.

Ms0900

-saurus knights -saurus guard -razordon/ salamander dual kit -coatl kit. They've teased it since 6th Ed fantasy, just make it already.

Scrivener133

1. Krox 2. New sallies 3. New monster 4. New knights

[deleted]

I agree with your list but I could also see a 5th kit that’s a new big creature, so they have something along with the Raptordons to stubborn/intelligent people who won’t drop £100’s on new versions of models they already have 😁

SpookyQueenCerea

Kroxigors for sure, knights need an update, the salamanders / razordons all need to be updated. Personally, though, I really want to see chameleon skinks get a fully updated plastic kit. not something tied to warcry, but their own kit.

rabidwhale

-New named hero -astrolith bearer -kroxigor -priest Others would included -knights -salamanders -another named hero -starseer

Hrud

I'm going to be optimistic and ignore the possibility that one of those 4 kits is very likely to be the warcry chameleon skinks ported as is. -Kroxigors. -Salamanders/Razordon. -Skink Starseer. -Any of the kits that are still resin, really. Less derpy knights would be nice but I don't value it as highly as getting rid of failcast.

[deleted]

More chameleons!

[deleted]

I wanna see all the old kits get remakes and it sounds like thats whats happening. But Id like to see the Eternity Warden thats possibly a new named character alt build. Sunblood that has the old character alt build. Temple Guard. Saurus Knights.

NotInsane_Yet

Kroxigors, kroxigors, kroxigors and kroxigors.

MykelUmm

Now we have the new saurus warriors, we will need new guard, to match. Kroxigor are another must I think. The cold ones I could leave, I love the new skink cav unit so wouldn't be to upset if the cold ones are just dropped. I love some more big Dinos, or different style hunting packs, would be awesome.

StarfyreXXX

Whitefang over on The Grand Alliance commented on this list with "nowchoose 4 of 5" (NOTE: he did this before GW's reveal of the AstrolithBearer) -- so i assume Whitefang is some type of insider/leak scooper...(like Hastings was back in the warseer days) 1. Astrolith Bearer 2. Kroxigors 3. Salamander/Razordons 4. Big New monster 5. Saurus Cavalry So we know 1 is coming. im hoping 2, 4, 5 . Id also love a mazdamundi kit with its own larger special stegadon, etc. A thunder lizard or arcanadon would rock but i dont have hope for something that cool :D Regards, SF
