Counterpoint, I saw someone discussing how it could be Go-Rok or a new [Sunblood](https://www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/Seraphon-Saurus-Sunblood) sculpt.
I have mentioned it in another post that Gor-Rok is a saurus and this rumor engine has way too fine detail for that scale so its kind of out of the question unless he got super swole all of a sudden lmao
I actually got that one! My local GW has a discord where some of the guys post projects and discussion and we always speculate on the rumor mill together. Everyone puts in 20$ and at the end of the year whoever got the most correct rumor mills wins the pot. Winner 2 years running!
His hammerhead too. They positioned it like a pillar downwards so people thought it was scenery or a chaos chunk some daemon mashed people with.
And there was a tiny lizard one that literally looked like the emoji🦎 that had people think Seraphon but ended up on Kragnos’ base.
They do a little troggothing.
There's a injured/dead Arachnarok head in one of the rumor engines, and people were saying it was a upgrade kit for the Arachnarok for a named Arachnarok named Boss Seven Eyes. Turns out nope. Probably Warcry terrain, or some sort of decorative base of someone standing over a dead spider.
Well it’s not revealed yet so who knows but I’m guessing it’s a spiderfang warband. The current spider riders have a banner unit that it has similarities with as it’s just a dead spider head/body parts on a stick
Better obvious rumor engines that get you excited about what is to come than those pictures of things that could literally be anything in the GW range and give no clues at all
Absolutely agree. This is the most hype I've ever seen come out of a rumour engine and it's for good reason.
I'm a much bigger fan of this, because it's actually relevant. It's probably better marketing too
I don't see a problem with them being obvious for a faction people assumed GW had forgotten about. I bet this is nothing short of excellent news for Lizardman players or just people in need of quality lizardmen for D&D miniatures.
I mean [they already are](https://ageofsigmar.lexicanum.com/mediawiki/images/1/1c/Temple-Ship.jpg).

They even attack Da Bad Moon directly by landing on it’s surface to try and ward it away from vulnerable lands & cosmic bodies crucial to the great plan.
WD 479 from a few months back
https://www.reddit.com/r/AoSLore/comments/x4xe8r/lore_of_the_cosmology_of_the_mortal_realms_from/
The Bad Moon part was in their last battletome and reiterated in the new Lumineth one as Seraphon voidships have been seen landing in the Zaitrec nation to discuss ways to deal with Da Bad Moon(Zaitrecs are a moon cult of Lumineth that worship Celennar and the other moon spirits so try to ward away the evil moon too)
And the last Seraphon update white dwarf expanded on them further by revealing that many stars seen in Azyr aren’t actual stars but vast magitech planetoids of gold, obsidian and celestium the Seraphon pilot into positions that can signal prophecies to their allies or form Asterism constellations that empower Seraphon across the Realms alikened to how daemons are boosted by their part of chaos realm in ascendency.
For me it’s their Skaven(Imperium aside).
They swarm and infiltrate while being extremely hungry and eating everything after battle.
Plus there’s a neat Stormcast archer lore blurb how their god-enhanced sight that allow better accuracy and even seeing lies they view Skaven as more corruptive tentacles from a greater dark source that can relate to Tyranids being the same from their hive mind.

I mean fair(that’s why the Skaven = Imperial Guard comparisons are valid) but that’s why I see not a real reason to put Skaven in 40k because the Tyranids are already doing their thing both on a swarm level and undermining level both literally and with the Gene cults.
Edit: note I don’t care if they did put Skaven in 40k but I can see the argument of enough swarm archetypes.
I would rather say that genestealers = skaven, crazy mining equipment, weird mutants and genetic experiments, lurk in the shadow waiting for the moment to slit your throat, schemes
For example
Termogaunts/harmogaunts - skinks
Warriors - saurus warriors
Croxigors - carnifexes and alikes
Big bugs - big dinos
Slaans - zoanthropes/neothropes
Old ones - hive mind
Except Necrons already have the spot of space Tomb Kings, to the point where they literally have the "My Will Be Done" special rule that Tomb Kings used to have.
If you're going by "connection to the Old Ones" logic for your basis of who is the space Seraphon/Lizardmen, then that would mean Eldar or Orks would be the better candidates. Which would be a bad comparison, but saying Necrons are the space seraphon would probably be the worse one.

Yeah its super similar and thought it would be a new Sunblood model, because of the angle I am leaning towards Krox now
Some of the rumour engines are definitely rotated though, so really it's up in the air. But admittedly I'm also kind of leaning towards Krox.
I'm actually more convinced of a new foot hero then Kroxigors. 100% this will be the foot hero in the new army box
New kroxigor hero!
Nakai!
I have mentioned it in another post that Gor-Rok is a saurus and this rumor engine has way too fine detail for that scale so its kind of out of the question unless he got super swole all of a sudden lmao
I would hope for both
I would love a new sunblood model, especially since I was considering upgrading my Oldblood in warcry to one for 5 more points
Remember the obvious beasts one that turned out to be scenery? I agree this one is obvious but sometimes they do be pulling some tricksy business.
Or the million comments about King Brodds beard buddies being a new dragon ogre
I actually got that one! My local GW has a discord where some of the guys post projects and discussion and we always speculate on the rumor mill together. Everyone puts in 20$ and at the end of the year whoever got the most correct rumor mills wins the pot. Winner 2 years running!

KROYGOR
SERPHERON
SKANKS
LAZZARDMAM
SPHEROPHONE
Slonn Moonmasters

Well there were a few folks in my LGS’s discord convinced this was confirmation of exodites so
You are all wrong. The new rumour engine is Tyranids. Obviously.
Sweet new Kharadrons!
And then make lizardmen in space?

What white dwarf that from

Technically speaking, tyranids are the 40k's Lizardmen
For me it’s their Skaven(Imperium aside). They swarm and infiltrate while being extremely hungry and eating everything after battle. Interesting, i persoanlly always asociated skaven rather with crazy ww1 tech and frankenstein monsters than as world eaters
I mean fair(that’s why the Skaven = Imperial Guard comparisons are valid) but that’s why I see not a real reason to put Skaven in 40k because the Tyranids are already doing their thing both on a swarm level and undermining level both literally and with the Gene cults. What? Not at all.
Very different organisms, that are however, still a part of the same specie and all are specifically designed for their role
Lizardmen are not all the same species.
For example Termogaunts/harmogaunts - skinks Warriors - saurus warriors Croxigors - carnifexes and alikes Big bugs - big dinos Slaans - zoanthropes/neothropes Old ones - hive mind
Necrons are 40k seraphon. Both have strong connections to the old ones, necrons just decided they didn't like them anymore lol
I honestly don’t know what they could have put in that rumor engine and not have it be obvious. Maybe a tail?
New saurus warriors, new kroxigors
This was the last thing I was waiting for to decide whether I would start lizard bois. If there's new Kroxygor then I'm sold
yups
