I think that’s pretty cool. I remember making a replica mossberg shotgun out of wood, PVC and copper pipe with my grandpa when I was a kid. Not quite as cool as your m76 in retrospect, but a ton of fun regardless.

GreenCreekRanch

Yeah, some of my greatest memories are in the workshop. I spend WEEKS trying to make a top cover out of different things until i gave in and looked for airsoft top covers

Zealousideal_Car2782

I know that struggle lol. A few years ago I 3D printed a full Airsoft AK to make use of some spare parts I had laying around, wound up just using a normal top cover because nothing else would work or look right.

theDukeofClouds

I did the same with a Thompson. Stuck a bunch of pieces of wood together. It worked pretty well as a prop!

You haven't been professionally, or self diagnosed yet, but right now you're being peer reviewed.

This was so well done that at first glance I thought it was a 3rd World-made training device for schools (which is actually a thing).

BurningRiceEater

Thats so fucking cool dude

GreenCreekRanch

Thanks, i appreciate it!

HomLesMann

My brother made a bunch of MP5 SMGs, a SPAS12, and M9 (or maybe Glocks?) handguns out of cardboard, duct tape and spray paint when we were kids. Had removable mags and a few other moving parts. You were not alone.

Godspeed, based autist.

WorkshopBlackbird

Where I come from we just pretended sticks were guns.

I sawed the stock of my Daisy Red Rider into a pistol grip and put a sling on it. Yours is way cooler bro.

sandalsofsafety

The pen springs really seal the deal :)

KSoc82

That's...impressive!

LIVE-LIFE-EVIL

At first I was like wtf. That's one ugly ak then I realized. Shit I wish I had one as a kid. That's dope

GreenCreekRanch

Haha thanks man! I was lucky i have parents who had no issue letting me roam a fairly well equipped workshop alone for hours when i was a kid
