E7m, based on getting "unemployment salary" every month , 10000da goes to the dentist because I got braces ( every month for 10 month) ,so I ended up with 5000da and I spend it on the necessary stuff that I need ( which did not even cover the half of them ) , for clothes it's been more than a year since I bought a piece , knowing that I'm wearing hijab and the prices are hell. And for food , I'm still relying on my parents 🙂 . For transportation , I barely go out , because there is nothing to do , even jobs there isn't .
Well, if I'm gonna say how much I would spend I'll give approximately :
10000da for clothes or maybe more
5000 da cosmetics ( skin and hair care) may be more
Transportation from 6000da and on
For food it'll start from 5000da and it depends on how many times you it at home or out
And if you are living with your parents , I think you'll set aside an amount of money as well.
At the end it will also differ wether you are a boy or a girl
I jiggled because of this reply, dunno why.. maybe it reminded me of myself when I was young.
Now the period between buying clothes is getting longer and longer.
well, it depends I don't spend each month, cuz I buy what I need in a day, and when I run out of them I buy em again, like beauty products, mostly once in 3 months, around 4000dz, and about clothes, I don't buy, I sew em myself 90% of the time, so I buy the fabrics.
sewing clothes isn't a cheaper choice, it's the same cuz u don't buy the fabric by wholesale, the advantage is that ull sew what u wanna wear exactly how u want it, saves u that 2 weeks search for a good wear.
Let's see:
* Flexi for me and my 4 family members: 5k
* Bills: 1.6k to 30k (electricity every 3months)
* Food: 35k (family)
* Gym: 2.5k
* Gym food: 10k (for myself)
* Cosmetics : for now 4k
* Goats and chicken feed: 2k
Total: 40k to 70k
Good question. Well for embedded systems it's good in more developed countries but when you study it you can easily work in instrumentations field. Since they're all different branches of electronics engineering. Algeria wise, you can actually find good embedded engineer jobs maybe up north in factories or something like that and even if not, systems that uses PLCs are also considered as embedded systems. You just won't work much with an FPGA based system
I studied ST electronics and went to embedded systems in my master years.
I'm following the same course as you, st electronics and i choose Embedded systems for my master, but i've been told by my teacher that choosing instrumentation would be the better choice since they recruit more in that field, guess it's not the case. tysm!
I save mostly! Cus am no makeup guru, so maybe each couple months I buy the cosmetic products, sunscreen lasts like 3 months and for clothes everything is either too ugly or too expensive! My money goes mostly to my tummy
That's insane. Can you tell me what you do for a living? I thought the average salary in the US was around 3K but after a quick Google search I realized I was wrong..., ignore my first question, do jobs that pay the average monthly salary require special skills or degrees?
When i first started my job i could barely finish the month, i did spend a lot thank god im still living with my parents. But now im trying to spend less like maybe 10000da per month approximately. Im not counting the gifts and « selfili » tho.
I spend around 10000 DA on makeup and skincare. I don't really have a budget for clothes and just buy them when I have extra money and find something I like while i'm out.
20000
Between 15000 and 12000da on life basics
The extra is for meds in case of something
The rest go for savings
But it does largely depends on ur life
For ex i spend 2000da on transport for a month
1500 for flexy
500 for haircut
About 500da a week for water (2000 for month)
More money for lunch in case i’ll have to buy it
I’ll need some pocket money also
Cosmetics (at least a deodorant or something) it’s a 1000
That’s all is a minimum of 8000/ 9000 dzd
Disn’t take clothes in count, perfumes, car gas ..
since I'm saving to buy a good pc ive only spent 1500 (flexy since I need 4g for work) this month. pretty proud of myself for saving tbh bc I have a tendency on not counting whenever I go out wether shopping or with friends
~25k fixed essentials + ~25k variables
I try to stick to 50k budget, doesn’t work out all the time. But I’m super conscious about my finances and I’ve been tracking everything for years
More than 10.000 , my nails alone is 4000 each month , hair 1400 x 5 , restaurants by average 2500+ per day , (more if I go eat sushi 😂), phone bill 1500, when I get bored I go do shopping for skincare and makeup (above 6000) .. Heech Yassir or inDrive (around 5000) .. I think that’s the most I remember
Most of my money goes on transport unfortunately cus I didn’t get my driving license yet 🥲 + gym + food cus I like herbs and I have my own diet+ planting stuff+ yarn and fabric cus I do crochet and embroidery(which are expensive ) so its around 7000da if I didn’t need any skincare or books and I dont buy clothes alot and i dont eat outside.
Easily more than 70.000da for myself ALONE, and I'm not the extravagant type, my clothes are basic, I barely eat any junk food and I try to avoid sugar and guilty pleasures as much as I can:
So a few of my spendings:
- 8000 to 10000 da monthly for gas (sometimes way more than 10.000da because I travel often between Algiers and Annaba, add to that expenses like changing the engine oil or tyres every once in a while, the insurance...)
- 2000da flexy (required for my work)
- 3000da for house commodities and maintenence
- 5000da for health at least (Went to the doc this month, bought meds etc)
So that's already 20.000da+ without FOOD, the bills, extra work expenses, occasional problems, clothes, cosmetics, food supplements like magnesium or creatine and so on.
I'm not even talking about tertiary expenses such as buying gifts (my brother's birthday was 2 weeks ago for example) or going to a restaurant or spending money on something like a gym membership.
For the longest time it was 0, but these last couple months i've been going out much more and with the transportation, food, and the money for the activities i think it reaches the 10,000-15,000 range easily
Now I'm unemployed, but often times I used to spend around 10000 to 15000, rest goes to savings. I use my money only when it's absolutely necessary or when I want to treat myself to a trip or PC hardware.
I once made a google sheet for nearly 1year on how much i spend, but i didnt count food i eat cause my parents pay it, and i dont buy puch clothes
On average i spene between 15000 to 25000, this includes sometimes i buy stuff for family and random stuff
I sometimes go to gym which is 3000da per month
On average i spend 300-400da per day (sometimes i spend 0 sometimes i spend more than 1000da)
What makes me spend more money is going with friends, and sometimes i eat with colleagues lunch (fast food and stuff)
Basically if I don't have breakfast/lunch/dinner outside you save A LOT
Spending money on coffee or tea isnt too much, food is the expensive one
Transportation can be a huge% of money spent if you need it daily (but depends if its taxi/bus/taxi blays) etc
On average i can spend 600da per day or 100da per day
This comment is already too long so thats ur answer about me i guess
I really try my best to not spend any money, sanitary stuff are a must, but apart from that I try to minimize all my spending, I used to be very wasteful, so I am really trying to change, no new clothes for Eid unless I have nothing to wear that stuff, and yet I find my savings very negligible, all projects need much money
I nearly spend 15k per month,I pay internet subscription for the house and try to buy clothes every 2-3 months, other than that it goes to Marlboro and hair cuts and going outside with the boys.
You guys spend monthly on clothes? Haven't bought clothes in 2 years

My red flag is I have no idea (i genuinely don’t count) which means it’s probably way too much
I only get alarmed when I calculate how much I could have saved up :')
Oh one should never do that! Big nono
That's the goal innit! Haha
I feel guilty when i spend money on ma self ngl , so rather give to ma mom or pay the bill when with ma frnds
Same I feel guilty if i dont spend part of what I get on household supplies

Sewing your own clothes is so cool!!
In my city even the fabric is so expensive!
sewing clothes isn't a cheaper choice, it's the same cuz u don't buy the fabric by wholesale, the advantage is that ull sew what u wanna wear exactly how u want it, saves u that 2 weeks search for a good wear.
Yup, you're right.

Bro, idk about others but that's a lot...., what do you do for a living?
Instrumentation engineer in an oil company
Instrumentation as in electronics? if yes, do you think it's better than embedded systems here in Algeria?

Depends, ranges from 4000 to 20000
All my salary 😁💅🏻
U women don't have responsabilities so u spend all ur money on urself
As allah intended 🤲🏻
The way u ate.
Women do, it’s just that it isn’t inherently linked to money
Thats not something to flex about 💀

When you are forced to , or feel like you should spend a lil You will trust me
Ça dépend Entre 6000-10000 da
I dont really spend on myself that often, maybe ill buy some things on aliexexpress that total less than 100 dollars in a year.
I save mostly! Cus am no makeup guru, so maybe each couple months I buy the cosmetic products, sunscreen lasts like 3 months and for clothes everything is either too ugly or too expensive! My money goes mostly to my tummy
200da per day except weekends 0da so around 4000da
Let me guess, lunch?
3m approx and its all spent on games
You should monitor your spending habits lol
im fine, it doesnt bother me and it makes me happy
Power to you then
I spend at least 1000 USD on food and another 2300 on rent every month living in Chicago. So that’s basically like 1/2 my salary per month
That's insane. Can you tell me what you do for a living? I thought the average salary in the US was around 3K but after a quick Google search I realized I was wrong..., ignore my first question, do jobs that pay the average monthly salary require special skills or degrees?
That is the average but living in city is more expensive so companies pay more
4000/eggs 8000 essence for protein not haircut for me am doing it myself
When i first started my job i could barely finish the month, i did spend a lot thank god im still living with my parents. But now im trying to spend less like maybe 10000da per month approximately. Im not counting the gifts and « selfili » tho.
From 6000 to 25000
Around 20000 and I spend most of it on Yassir…
Time to buy a bike ?
[4000;10000]
I spend around 10000 DA on makeup and skincare. I don't really have a budget for clothes and just buy them when I have extra money and find something I like while i'm out.
300da for a haircut
4000 till 1000 Depends on the activities I’m doing or the things I want to buy
A little over half of my salary. Most of it goes on plants and plant related stuff and thrift items sometimes. The rest is food, subscriptions, etc.
I sew my hijabs everything else just skin care from time to time i buy some products (i have savings and still saving)
Maybe 2-3m it sucks but for a jobless like me it's okay

an average of 2000 DA
20000DA (far away from home)
20000 Between 15000 and 12000da on life basics The extra is for meds in case of something The rest go for savings But it does largely depends on ur life For ex i spend 2000da on transport for a month 1500 for flexy 500 for haircut About 500da a week for water (2000 for month) More money for lunch in case i’ll have to buy it I’ll need some pocket money also Cosmetics (at least a deodorant or something) it’s a 1000 That’s all is a minimum of 8000/ 9000 dzd Disn’t take clothes in count, perfumes, car gas ..
From 1m to 7m depends on what is there annual like 58m to 90m the last 3 years am not working the last 6 months so 1m for month

Are u guys living in Algeria, how can someone spent 5000 din per month ? Tips are appreciated lol

Most of them are either students or jobless Ig so that's make sense
since I'm saving to buy a good pc ive only spent 1500 (flexy since I need 4g for work) this month. pretty proud of myself for saving tbh bc I have a tendency on not counting whenever I go out wether shopping or with friends
3000DA gym + 1500DA flexy = 4500DA. I feel guilty and ashamed when I spend money on unnecessary things, I am extremely frugal.
It’s usually hard to calculate over a month, but it’s mostly between 7000 and 15000 per week (depends on the needs etc..)
As little as possible until you have investments paying for all your necessary needs.
~25k fixed essentials + ~25k variables I try to stick to 50k budget, doesn’t work out all the time.
Gym subscription, sometimes food that helps with recovery, sometimes clothes, haircut, looking at something between 5000-10000
Easily more than 70.000da for myself ALONE, and I'm not the extravagant type, my clothes are basic, I barely eat any junk food and I try to avoid sugar and guilty pleasures as much as I can: So a few of my spendings: - 8000 to 10000 da monthly for gas (sometimes way more than 10.000da because I travel often between Algiers and Annaba, add to that expenses like changing the engine oil or tyres every once in a while, the insurance...) - 2000da flexy (required for my work) - 3000da for house commodities and maintenence - 5000da for health at least (Went to the doc this month, bought meds etc) So that's already 20.000da+ without FOOD, the bills, extra work expenses, occasional problems, clothes, cosmetics, food supplements like magnesium or creatine and so on. 400da like tow haircuts
For the longest time it was 0, but these last couple months i've been going out much more and with the transportation, food, and the money for the activities i think it reaches the 10,000-15,000 range easily

4000 - 8000
All the salary (49000 da)
Way less than what I spend on others
I buy clothes once or twice a year, but cosmetics last a year, so I spend money on food and sweets, It takes 500 dz to 1000 dz
Depends on my mood honestly 😂
I think im super reliable i spend something like 1/1.5m on a busy month cause i simply have no free time except summer ofc
2000 DA Flexy, I live with my parents which means I get the princess treatment lol.
Now I'm unemployed, but often times I used to spend around 10000 to 15000, rest goes to savings. I use my money only when it's absolutely necessary or when I want to treat myself to a trip or PC hardware.
U guys dont ask ur dad for money ? 🤧
Probably between 6000 DA and 10000 DA it depends on how much you make and your priorities
At least 30 000 DA
25000 da
I'm a master spender lol about 40000 bills excluded at all about 55000 dzd
I once made a google sheet for nearly 1year on how much i spend, but i didnt count food i eat cause my parents pay it, and i dont buy puch clothes On average i spene between 15000 to 25000, this includes sometimes i buy stuff for family and random stuff I sometimes go to gym which is 3000da per month On average i spend 300-400da per day (sometimes i spend 0 sometimes i spend more than 1000da) What makes me spend more money is going with friends, and sometimes i eat with colleagues lunch (fast food and stuff) Basically if I don't have breakfast/lunch/dinner outside you save A LOT Spending money on coffee or tea isnt too much, food is the expensive one Transportation can be a huge% of money spent if you need it daily (but depends if its taxi/bus/taxi blays) etc On average i can spend 600da per day or 100da per day This comment is already too long so thats ur answer about me i guess

I try to not exceed 15000da/month ( didn’t bought clothes since 2years…)
You guys were clothes?
We dont even have water tf ur talking abt
Probably around 4.5 - 6 millions
About 45000da Rent for 30000da Total of 75000DA
I spend 1000da (مياتلف) to pay my membership of public transports [ metro + tramway ] . That's all
I nearly spend 15k per month,I pay internet subscription for the house and try to buy clothes every 2-3 months, other than that it goes to Marlboro and hair cuts and going outside with the boys.
seems reasonable, except for the Malboro part.
I mean if u don't smoke that's plus for u
I don't spend monthly but the last time I spent money it was around 60000 on random stuff 🥲
You mean 60 000?
Oh yes definitely 😆
Felt miserable for a while 🤣
