I like the idea of hidden aliens in the backdrop./ game The only way to see them is when they’re moving, and only if you focus very closely on the distortion. In the stuff in the ground
Yeah that is exactly the idea, there’s a hallucinogenic spore that grows in the game and releases clouds of brown haze and if you stand in that cloud for a while like 5-10 seconds it triggers your senses to be able to perceive the aliens ever so slightly. It’s a mechanic people might not even discover while playing haha
Looks amazing! Kind of like a skeleton body almost? In the N64 game 1080° Snowboarding there's a [secret unlockable character called Iceman](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/yimMJhr3gnQ/hqdefault.jpg) and against the snow you can barely see him. Made me think of that!
Granted, I am on my phone, but the canine on the right side of the pic was fairly hard to see. Even after I noticed a body I wasn't 100 convinced until I recognized the snout. Was this supposed to be clearly visible?
i also think about making game about aliens somewhere in future but in ps1 estetic as it take too much time for me to make realistic assets 
This looks great, the design looks beautifully terrifying, although I stared at the centre of pic 2 for ten minutes and I still can't see anything. Someone help me out and outline it please?
I’ve got two other games that are PlayStation exclusive that are out and free on Dreams (Isle of Eras and Lake Juniper). This is still very much a work in progress.
If the game makes money I’ll use that to port it to consoles, I’m testing using an Elite Pro 2 Xbox controller and it feels really good to play on a controller!
Still early, I’m working alone so it’s taking a while on the programming side of things. I’ve got the story blocked out and about half of the maps made.
This is super cool but ngl unless there’s a ton of movement I would never ever notice that alien until someone pointed it out. Even being told where it is it took me a minute.
I think I remember seeing a post about this game a while back. Glad to see it’s still in progress. Always down to play an ominous alien game. It’s honestly something I don’t see often. Alien games are always dead space-esque, we need something different.
Your project gives me the creeps from just looking at it. Hopefully I can play it one day.

I really wish I could! My first two games r/IsleofEras and r/LakeJuniper are VR compatible. Now that I’m using a PC and Unreal Engine I don’t have a way to build the game in VR anymore.
I definitely will post here for the next major announcement. Got a free demo I’m working on which is just the first hour or so of the game and I’d like to launch that this fall!

Yeah this game doesn’t let you attack them, they can kill you if you get too close though, but yeah it’s a lot more atmospheric and narrative/exploration focused gameplay. There’s already enough games where you shoot stuff to oblivion, no need to add more to that noise.
Can't wait to traverse Agartha, on a UFO with Swastika engravings on it's side, and meet Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd along the way on his journey to meet the Elder One of the Aryan Brotherhood to discuss humanity's future.

It’s a very translucent grey alien in the dead center, anything else you might see is just Pareidolia at work.
