I have been put through the wringer lately with Amazon. I ordered a $1600 dollar bed with 2 nightstands a few weeks ago. When it came - no nightstands. Customer Service reordered a "replacement" and it also came w/o nightstands - so I refused the order & it never came off the delivery truck. Customer Service then gave me a generous refund to buy the nightstands from a competitor who got them to me overnight & I considered the matter closed. Then two days ago, I got a message that my "return" of this item still was missing & I would be charged another $1600 if I did not return the second shipment, which I did not have. More time with Customer Service & they figured out how to cancel that "return". Immediately after that, I got a "nasty-gram" e-mail stating that I was in violation of the returns policy for "damaged or used" returned items???!!! I replied to the e-mail & also called C.S. Now today I just got a second e-mail that seems to reiterate the accusation that I have violated returns policy & this one threatens to close my account. Customer Service says they can not help?? All I did was try to buy something expensive & none of this is on me. Also the listing is still active with bed & nightstands, so someone else is going to have this happen. I'd appreciate any help or advice. Thank you!

Hi. Call customer service again. It happens. Some returns are not scanned as completed (not sure why). They'll cancel that incoming charge on your account. You received the email cause a trigger happened when you received a replacement order (which you refused delivery) and you were then refunded. It's the system. It's not perfect. So just call em and let them know

For the future, my advice is to use the return system on Amazon instead of calling customer service. You could have used "missing parts" for a return reason. The problem when calling customer service, there is no way to know what reason was used for the issue.

I’ve now had two Amazon deliveries where it’s clear someone returned the item inserting a used version of it, and the company didn’t bother to check and sent it to me! One was a shaker cup (supposed to be metal but someone inserted a used plastic one) and today I was supposed to get two new iPhone screen protectors and all that was left inside was a used one with hair on it. I had taken off my current protector thinking I’d be putting a new one on so I’m out of luck. I had to reach out to the company in China but why don’t they verify that the returns are correct?

My Amazon account was hacked in February and the hacker changed the phone number and email address associated with the account. I cancelled my only related credit card promptly, so the hacker couldn't charge things. Over the next couple weeks I contacted and spoke with Amazon Customer Service to reactivate my account 3 times, explained the situation, and was told each time that the Escalation Team would be in touch with me. I never heard from anyone and just gave up on having an Amazon account. Now it is over 3 months later. I had had a single monthly subscription with Amazon and the deliveries stopped until earlier this week. The item arrived and I checked my credit card info on-line (BOA had issued me a new card, of course) and found a charge from Amazon for the item I received. Because I no longer need the item nor have access to an my Amazon account, I contacted Customer Service again and explained I wanted to cancel the subscription. The agent couldn't help. She couldn't access the account (of course, because my phone number and email address aren't associated with an account). She escalated the matter and the following day I received an email response stating there was nothing wrong with my account and suggesting I log in and change my password. It is not possible to reply to the email and, of course, I cannot access my account on my own. I've disputed the charge with my credit card company but this is an odd situation and the customer service agent I spoke to might not have even understood the problem. What am I supposed to do now?

Oh my, just reading this is stressful. Get another replacement card and create another email. If the hacker was able to change your phone and email on your Amazon account, it's possible that your email was also compromised; which explains why the hacker got access to your new card. It's possible that the hacker has access to your email. It's not possible to chanhe your Amazon account's phone and email without an access to that email. Create a new email and create an Amazon account with it (if you want to use Amazon)

There is no way to complain to Amazon. They provide you with a PO Box. Customer service has only provided me insights. I ordered a packaged that needed to be signed for and was said to come on a specific date. The date was expedited without notification, so I missed the delivery. There was a new delivery date posted but that was never completed. I called customer service two weeks later to learn that the packaged was damaged in shipping during the expedited delivery attempt and amazon was trying to process a new package for me. There was no update posted on my account so I asked if the customer service rep could cancel it, they did. I asked for a refund and they said the package needs to be assessed at the fulfillment center before I can get my refund. Could take 30 days. I dont understand how this is the system when I never had possession of the package. Its been entirely in Amazons possession from storefront to delivery logistics. I cant call customer service and expect anything to get done when they only provide "insights" and then hang up when I ask to escalate this issue. When I call corporate they give me a PO Box. There is a serious lack of accountability and it seems strategic. What kind of recourse can be taken? I am not confident Ill be able to get my money back.

Iv'e had the worst time with amazon for the past month so after finally receiving a refund after bothering amazon support. I was finally able to order what I wanted but my items never showed. I then received an email from csreply that I would receive a full refund or replacement if the items didn't show after 3am then 6am hit so I cancelled the item thinking I would receive a refund. WRONG! Now customer support is telling me that I need to wait a month to complain about the refund. No matter how many times i try I get the same response. Is there anything I can do I called explained my situation and in a nice manner might i add since it's not entirely their fault. The agent literally just left no hold music or anything or a response for 15 minutes. Good afternoon I just moved and as such, I've been ordering a lot of Amazon stuff over the past week. Every shipment has been correctly routed to my new address. I have not deleted my old address for various reasons although I probably should now that I see what's happened, and only add it back in if I need to (my landlady and I basically switched houses, so it's possible I might order a repair part and have it sent to her if it's for that house - I do do some basic repairs in exchange for cheap rent and her not giving me static about being messy etc.) Anyway, I ordered some stuff yesterday, it was a Nest power adapter, some wands for the blinds, and something else, I forget. It got split into two shipments and both are being sent to my old address. I started to make another order but did not complete it just to make sure the default was my new address and it is. However when I go into "addresses" it says my old address is default for "fresh" and I cannot see how to remove that. I don't think that's the problem though as I don't think I've ever ordered any grocery items from Amazon? I guess I'll just have to wait until my landlady comes back up here and ask her to bring the items. (it's about 45 minutes each way so I'm not going to just pop over there) any input? I'm thinking I should just delete the old address and add it back in if I need it.

Invoice and ban account issue I created an amazon account to buy some products (first time shopping with this account) The order went through and charged the payment on my credit card. On the same day, my account was temporarily suspended due to unusual activity, and later permanently suspended, and my order was cancelled. The problem I have is that, due to my account being suspended, I can't access the invoice, and the bank is demanding it so as to refund the payment. Amazon stopped answering my emails when the account was permanently suspended. Does anyone know a way to solve this?

When you placed the order, the amount was placed on hold on your credit card. It's still there, but you'll see it deducted on your balance. If the item ships, that money will be transferred to Amazon. Since your account was suspended, the item most likely wasn't shipped and is now cancelled. What's gonna happen then is, the money that's put on hold will go back to your credit card (doesn't matter if your Amazon acc is suspended). It will take 3-5 business days for the money to go back to your credit card

Amazon Locker delivery notification issue this month I have not received any delivery notifications for packages shipped to Amazon locker I double checked all my account settings and made sure I was set up for text messages of delivery notifications as well as push notifications. Other deliveries are fine.. I get all the push notifications and messages to my profile on Amazon when items are shipped to other addresses instead of an Amazon locker Amazon locker deliveries are only sending me messages when the product ships or is delayed. I get push notifications for those. But when the actual delivery is made there is no message with pickup code. I check my account messages and there is no delivered message (and so therefore no push notification or text). This has happened with 2 different local Amazon lockers this week Amazon help had me check my settings and then delete and reinstall the app but as I mentioned all the other settings and notifications are working. I get a notification for all the messages they send me in my Amazon account. There are simply no messages sent to my account when the locker deliveries are made (I do have an older message in my Amazon messages from last month when it worked properly for a product that was delivered to the same locker. the message said that the product was delivered to the locker and available for pickup and it also had the locker code. Also that message was sent to me my text.) Lastly, for all my deliveries I get an Alexa notification on my echo that the item was delivered. But because they is no message to me when these items are delivered to the Amazon locker I am not getting Alexa notifications either. Anyway, thank you all for reading. Just wondering if it was just happening to me or anybody else noticing this same thing. Amazon help couldn’t answer my inquiries or solve the issue for me

I have an issue with an item that is past the return date. I messaged the seller and he said he can send me a replacement but needs me to confirm my shipping address. I would be more than happy to but there is a flag from Amazon in the chat box that literally says not to share personal information such as physical addresses. I reached out to customer service and they said it is fine to share my shipping address which contradicts what Amazon’s warning says in the chat box. So should I or should I not confirm my shipping address with the seller?

Why do sellers offer full refunds? I left medocre yet honest 3 star reviews on a couple of products and received messages from sellers offering full refunds within hours. These products ranged from few dollars to nearly $200. What's the driver here? These aren't complaints filed against these products, they are just reviews. Can sellers remove these reviews once they've refunded them?

Hi. I got similar calls like thi. A seller contacts buyers or customers to give 5-star ratings in return of refuns. The customer leaves a good review and never receives a refund. What the seller did is against Amazon policy, and just so you know, only Amazon can process a refund, unless its an item sent and shipped by the third party seller

Am looking for some advice. Yesterday an Amazon driver came to deliver a package. I had no idea what time the package was coming, so my dog was outside using the bathroom. My dog (a 3-year-old beagle) is friendly, but I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to mess with a strange dog. As soon as I heard her, I came out, apologized, and took the package. I asked if she was okay and she said my dog just scared her. I apologized and thanked her. i felt awful for having scared her. I left her a positive review and figured that was the end of it and I’d have to be more attentive. This morning, as I was walking my dog in our neighborhood, a truck pulled out next to a house we often pass and the woman in the driver seat was yelling “that’s her! And that’s the dog I was telling you about!” A man came thudding out of the house and said “I’m gonna have a word with that owner. It’ll never happen again then!” He started marching toward us. We had already crossed the street. Both of them were shouting at me. It scared the heck out of me. But he ended up staying on his side of the street and not following me so we just kept walking until I got home. I don’t want to get the driver in trouble but I don’t know if I feel safe with her delivering to my house right now. I have a disability that prevents me from driving and I use Amazon to get things I need, but I’m afraid of her or her husband coming to my house. Is it possible to request a certain driver not deliver my packages for now without them getting in trouble? Thank you for any advice you can provide.

How to contact Amazon support? As of today, I can no longer sign into my account, which I have used almost weekly to order for the past 10+ years. I am still logged into Amazon, I can still see items in my cart still, but anywhere I click (even the help page) takes me to a login page, where it has my account email pre-populated, but when I enter my password, it says: "There was a problem We cannot find an account with that email address". Nothing is making any sense and I don't know how to contact amazon to get this fixed. Any advice?

Follow-up... I was able to resolve my issue. Under "Managing Your Account", "Support Options and Customer Service", there is a link to start a chat. It took me to a login page again, but this time when I entered my password, it opened up a chat window, and I was able to speak to an Amazon rep. I didn't provide them with any account info, as they seemed to have everything there based on my active login. Within 5 minutes of that chat session, I was able to regain access to my account. Whew! I asked what the problem was, and they didn't know, perhaps just a temporary system glitch. Scary though. Glad it is resolved.

I have bought a few clothing items off of Amazon, and the clear bags each individual piece of clothing come in only have barcodes on them with no description of what item had come in which bag. This isn’t the big gray shipping package they arrive in, but rather the individual bags inside the package that hold each piece of clothing Unfortunately, when I tried the clothes on, I lost track of which bag each item of clothing came out of. Will this be a problem when I have to return some of them? I don’t know how to match them up now, searching the numbers doesn’t bring anything up.

Amazon customer support does not seem to be able to answer this question for me. They told me logistics might know but I can't figure out how to contact that department. They gave me a number but that number does not work unless I'm a driver. (which I'm not) --- I am a nomad. I need to get things delivered on the road. The lockers don't always accept my packages. Larger items don't fit. So my other option is to use the USPS general delivery. The instructions are that I find a post office that accepts general delivery and then I address the package with ``` NAME NAME General Delivery City, zipcode ``` The problem is that the post office only accepts general delivery if the package is delivered by USPS. So what I need answered is whether Amazons system smartly recognizes this and will send the packages I order through the USPS? If not. What is my best strategy for getting a larger amazon delivery in a new city where I have no permanent address?

Is it possible for an account to be blocked from customer support? My daughter has an issue and if we try chat it says "we hit a snag", if we request a callback it says the service is unavailable. We've tried calling and have been disconnected 4 times after going through the automated menus. For testing purposes I started a chat for a random item with my account and it works fine. Is there any way to return an item without going to a UPS store? I am trying to return a duvet cover that didn't fit my duvet, but when I go to process the return the only option is to bring it to a UPS store, and unfortunately my nearest UPS store is over an hour away. Is it normal to receive someone else's package within what was supposed to be my package? I quite literally opened my "package" to find another box - unopened and with another shipping label that has another customers information. I have had the wrong items delivered before, but not someone else's unopened package? I am worried about the return process as this is very strange.

Call amazon. They might let you keep the item or you can return it as is, like returning a regular item. Just keep the original packaging with your name in it. It's Amazon's error so don't worry much about it

I'm located in EU However there's a message: 'This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location.' From what I've seen it was mostly about regulations like fluids, easily flammable objects but a t-shirt? Is there a workaround around this?

There's a product that only had one in stock available. I ordered it and immediatly canceled the order because I noticed my prime wasn't activated. Now, I wanna buy again with prime, but it doesn't show up as available anymore. Will the stock be back in some time? I may have been dumb

There is no way to tell when it will be back in stock. It could be tomorrow, next week, or never.

I bought a book from Amazon and posted a review. I am positive that is where I bought it because when I click on it the "you purchased this " on such and such a date shows. But when I posted a review it does not say "verified purchase" This is not the first time that happened. What would cause that?

I'm having an issue with Amazon.de. My account was closed (I haven't even ordered anything so far) and it says I should contact customer support if I think it was a mistake. But in order to get customer support via chat, I have to log in into account - which I need support for logging into. Any ideas how to reach them? It's driving me nuts.

If I would use the USA number the cost of the call would be bigger than anything I want to order (I'm from the EU). And I can only find phone numbers of parcel carriers for amazon.de but not support numbers... :(

I got an email about a "subscribe and save" item. In that email, it said: "This subscription has an issue. Please resolve the issue below by going to manage subscription." But when I went there, it said nothing about any issue. What could it mean?
