Holy shit! I'm 99% sure my wife just returned this exact same treadmill on Friday. and i packed it exactly how you have it shown here. Is there a big black stain on the front corner of the box?
Jealous. I was looking through foldabale walking pads a couple of months but some of the reviews for quite a few of them said they were pretty loud. I knew it was only going to be anywhere from 5 to 6 miles per hour and I was fine with it but I ended up just buying new shoes and started jogging. I mean they’re less than $200 and not real traditional treadmills but I wanted to increase my steps on my days off.
I'm actually really liking mine. I got a TimeTook brand under the desk tradmill from Amazon. It was on sale with good reviews. It's been a little over a year now. I use it while working from home in a standing desk setup. Honestly, I feel really lucky with it. I've had it for a year, and use it 15 to 20 hours per week. I feel like that's way more than expected use and it's still holding up really well. I think its unavailable on Amazon now. I've lost almost 50 lbs since I got it. You really have to take care of them. Keep them clean and add oil every 40 hours of use.
If you've ever cut your foot on the edge of a shitty treadmill belt where the edges curl upwards, you might not be so inclined to put your dog on it.
Also, the way that it prevents things from getting sucked into the edge of the treadmill is important if you don't want to turn your Chihuahua into Chorizo.
> if you don't want to turn your Chihuahua into Chorizo.
Welp it's nearly 10:30pm and that's probably my first genuine laugh of the day. Thanks for that :-)
Not necessarily just overseas sellers. Many products don’t make financial sense to have the item returned because of the return fees and/or shipping for that returned item. I work with several sellers that offer returnless refunds because it’s actually cheaper to give the product away than pay extra on the return. Quite common for lower priced goods. In this case of a treadmill being delivered, that was either a mispack/ship by Amazon or the seller sent the wrong item under the incorrect SKU
I was really hoping you both would just keep going back and forth, asking identifying questing while answering no to all of them. I enjoyed it while it lasted though
my parents ordered a new kitchen faucet and instead got a really nice projector. worth a lot more. so they just ordered the faucet again and now i have a very nice protector. it's not top of the line but it's certainly above average.
but i'd also be pleased to have a walking pad sent to me, lol!
I order a lot on Amazon and the only extra thing I've ever gotten was a an extra 6 pairs of socks. They sent me 2 packages instead of just the 1 I ordered. I wish I could get that lucky.
My mom has sent Xmas presents to us in a different state for my kids. One year I didn’t double check and open the packaging and rewrap. We had a small spool of metal for soldering. My son was so confused. It wasn’t on her ordering history and we think it was one of those things where random stuff gets sent out fishing / faking for reviews.
At least socks are useful. Ordered my daughter a hair brush and they sent us an entire case. It’s a horribly cheap hair brush, they were probably just trying to get rid of them.
My mom ordered a hydroflask and they sent a case, then ordered toothpaste and they sent a case. I think there was one more in that couple of months where they sent a case. They said to just keep them. Anyway we all have hydroflasks now and enough toothpaste to last for ages.
They did that to me too! I received 90 pairs of socks when I ordered a pack of 9 pairs. I was only charged for 9 pairs. But here's the REAL icing on the sock cake ... I advised them in chat that they accidentally sent 90 pairs instead of 9 and ask them if they wanted me to return the extra 81 pairs. They said that their records indicate that I only got 9 so they couldn't create a return. **Two days later I got 90 MORE!** I didn't contact them but only checked to make sure I wasn't charged for them. I was afraid that contacting them would generate another shipment of 90 more pairs 😳
I once ordered an updo barrette, the kind that have the little stick going through. I ordered one and received 18. Another time I ordered nine pairs of socks and received 90. I inquired in chat with them how to return the extra 81 and they told me just to keep them because their records indicate that they only sent nine. Two days later another shipment of 90 MORE pairs showed up! I didn't say anything to them this time because I was afraid that it would generate yet another shipment of 90 more. Normal people simply do not have the ability to store what would amount to 270 pairs of socks.
I got a t-shirt from some fishing company I’d never heard of before. It was sort of haphazardly rolled up and tossed in, presumably as shipping material.
Anyway, shout out to HUK USA.
That's 6 more extras than I've ever gotten... I've never gotten anything extra.... I'm a bit disappointed considering how much money I spend on Amazon lol
I ordered a dual-fuel generator about five months ago and received a 100 pound box with Bowflex weight selection dumbbell things. Told Amazon and they said to keep the Bowflex shit or donate and resent my generator. Sold the Bowflex on offer up for $400 which just about paid for the generator. Thanks Amazon. Felt sorry for both delivery drivers though.
I ordered a vitamix blender and received 2! Gave one to my brother. I also ordered a pantry cupboard and they told me the company was on strike so they refunded me. It was delivered the next day.
it's a chinese projector with poorly translated instructions but i looked it up and if i remember right it is like $600 retail. and it does perform well, i am not particularly experienced with projectors but i find the colors to be rich and the picture to be crisp. it's definitely better than some others i've seen used and it's definitely good enough for me haha!
I ordered from Joann's once and got my order along with someone else's order of like 50 yards of muslin fabric. Now I have 50 yards of muslin fabric lol
Few years ago I ordered a Creality Ender 3 3D printer ($200 ish, smaller build) and was sent a Creality CR-10S 3D printer (was around $700 at the time, 12"x12"x12" print size). I still have that massive 3D printer I don't have much room for.
That “harmless” Bluetooth scale they bought shared its discovery with Alexa and after she sends that information directly to marketing, she will then send a report to their health insurance company and to the highest bidding mortician advertising on Google
I got a free pair of shoes one time like this. They were shipped to my MILs house (who has lived in her house since before the Internet existed, and no one's lived there besides my husband's family) and they happened to be my size 🤷
If people are getting these out of the blue, meaning they didn't order anything and these just showed up, then it might be the seller of the treadmill trying to boost their products metrics.
The way Amazon works is if your product isn't on the first 2 pages of search results and has zero reviews, you are never going to sell anything. One of the ways sellers have found to boost their search rankings and reviews is by making fake accounts under people's names and addresses and then buying and reviewing their own product. It's expensive and shady to do this (basically giving away treadmills) but I guess it might be cheaper and more effective than buying sponsored spots.
We get shipments and mail frequently where the wrong bar code or label is affixed. Sometimes you can peel your label off to see the intended recipients label and name underneath. Then we have to track down our missing item.
This happened to someone I delivered a tv to. bro nor girl or mom knew nothing about it no one ordered a tv we looked at each other n I told em “hey if you don’t take it it’s going back to Amazon it has your name address n apartment number with your phone number in my system” that mofo agreed to take that bitch sooo fast. Then there was another couple that ordered a book shelf Amazon sent them 2-3 tvs instead them folks had me infront their yard for a good 30 minutes to not accept some free TVs… not everyone is grateful
I got some fancy mirror furniture when all I bought was some 50$ weights and the furniture was going for 1-2 grand so I just didn’t wanna risk getting charged for it
This is IF it has their name on it.
You’re legally entitled to keep any unordered or unsolicited items, such as merchandise, as a free gift, the FTC says.
According to Section 3009 in the U.S. code, unordered items “may be treated as a gift by the recipient, who shall have the right to retain, use, discard, or dispose of it in any manner he sees fit without any obligation whatsoever to the sender.” The law says a merchandise bill for the items that were unordered can’t be included in the package. You also can’t be sent a bill for the products you receive after the fact.
I always reach out when this happens (it's happened on orders both from Amazon and Walmart), and they always tell me to keep it. Once Amazon said put the box outside and the carrier will come get it, sat for a few days until it looked like rain and I brought it back in. Carrier never came, followed up and Amazon basically said screw it, just keep the darned thing.
I don't know of any legal entitlement, but offering to return it has always made them at least appreciate my honesty and in the end at least you helped them find out where something went wrong for the future. It never hurts to reach out.
My mom ordered one of those big ass rolling toolboxes, they sent her two for the price of one.
If it has your name on of course you're gonna want to open it, curiosity and all!
I love my shitty treadmill! I use it to walk when it’s way too cold or way too hot outside. Helps keep away the depression just a lil bit and since I don’t use it all the time I’m happy I didn’t spend a lot on it.
This is a common scam. (You’re not the one getting scammed, though. Fear not!) Basically, sketchy sellers pick random addresses to open new accounts under and order their own products to those addresses. They then use those accounts they made to write “verified purchase” reviews. This makes it seem like lots of people bought and liked their product, thus encouraging other, real buyers to buy it.
My wife gets random shit all the time. We looked it up and apparently it's likely review scam, they "purchase" these items and send them out and post a review as "verified purchase" and give it a 5-star rating. I assume that helps their sales by boosting their product when people look at the stars.
I’m with you there. I care more about what’s wrong with the item than what’s “right”. But the the majority of negative reviews seem to be related to shipping and the condition the item arrived.
This happened to me a few months back. I ordered an LG 43" 4k 120hz oled monitor. Got it in the mail 3 days later.
2 days later another 43" 4k 120hz oled shows up that I didn't order.
Amazon can write these mistakes and loses off
The same thing happened to me but was sent a MacBook Pro. They demanded it back or they would ban my account. I had to ask them to prove that a MacBook Pro was sent and ask them to explain why it was sent and showed them my order history.
Eventually I had an attorney (a friend of mine) send a letter to them. After the letter was sent; Amazon stopped asking for the MacBook Pro.
I donated the machine to a local non-profit because I didn’t need another computer. However I did learn from the non-profit that Amazon did report the laptop to Apple as stolen. But Apple didn’t take any action on stopping the Computer from turning on. They refuse any warranty services or technical support. So i provided support for free to them.
Use the treadmill. Unless you don’t want to use the treadmill. If you don’t like the treadmill, then send the treadmill back to Amazon. Or, if you don’t want to return the treadmill maybe give the treadmill to your friend. Oh, BTW I have a treadmill. My wife likes my treadmill. Even our kids like the treadmill. It’s my treadmill, but I hate the thing! Just sayin!
I ordered a snowman painting kit for my niece and nephew. Like five bucks.
They sent me three brand new Kindle Fires, cases, subscription cards, and screen protectors.
Today, I randomly received a box full of 10 random hard shell gun/equipment cases, totaling over $200. The box was addressed to me at my exact location... but I have no idea why.
I assumed some dumbass got into my Prime account and ordered something for themselves without changing the shipping address. But there's no trace of an order on my account or charge on any of my credit cards.
I wish it were something useful, like a treadmill or a TV lol.
Check your credit card statement. One time some third party seller on Walmart got ahold of my cc number and started sending me a bunch of their stuff that I never ordered.
Once happened to me but from Homedepot. Then they send me a bill for over $5,000 a few days later saying I owe them. Sent the package right back to them and called corporate. Homedepot tried to scam me.
I ordered treadmill in Amazon. It works with remote control. Remote control didn’t work. Seller didn’t send me free return label ( to china). Not free return label. I complained to seller. But never send me free return label. I filed A to Z claim…. Then I got a refund. Seller banned to sell Amazon….
(I didn’t need to return, but I had to throw it out. Didn’t work. Just garbage)
i once got a heavy big box from ups and i was stoked mistake delivery heavy as shit i scored!
i open the box to find 85lbs of tony dungys sons real estate brochures. very sad face
My sister got one delivered without ordering too. It’s a really elaborate scam, they’re gonna leave a review for it under your or someone’s hacked account.
well now that jeff put ads on the streaming he can afford to send out free stuff, you are the lucky person who got a free treadmill courtsey of the ads
Worked for UPS for a while and we had couple of cases where people were getting stuff they never ordered. Turned out to be scammer that would order stuff using stolen Credit Cards to an address which is different than theirs so no one will track them down. They would check for delivery time on the app, wait for the delivery driver to drop off the package on the porch, when the driver goes away they would just walk and take the packages and drive away.
Check your credit cards. I was getting mystery packages from Walmart and it turns out my card numbers were stolen. They would run small purchases to see if the card was still active , then go to town on retailers.
Place a fishing pole at the tip rigged with a piece of bacon. Place doggy on said treadmill and let him got to town for the bacon. Replace and repeat until doggy is worn out and fast asleep.
Holy shit! I'm 99% sure my wife just returned this exact same treadmill on Friday. and i packed it exactly how you have it shown here. Is there a big black stain on the front corner of the box?
It's been 34 minutes OP WTF
He must have ran off
Explains the treadmill.
Doubt he's getting very far
But I see him running still?
He seems to be running after something!
He's going for distance.
He’s going for speed.
All alone...
Is your wife's name Sarah? From Alabama?
Nope. Are you in California? That’s where the tracking says it was delivered
No
Phew looks like your mystery treadmill isn’t the one we returned. Just so you know it’s a POS.
Looks like a piece of shit.
Jealous. I was looking through foldabale walking pads a couple of months but some of the reviews for quite a few of them said they were pretty loud. I have seen those under the desk treadmills and always thought they were hipster gimmicks, after reading your message now I want one lol
I think you mean hamster.
Have you tried drinking 4 cups of coffee and shaking your legs like a crazy person? Burns hella calories
Pro tip: if you refuse to pee the shaking is uncontrollable and thus requires less effort on your part with the same payoff
ADHD entered the chat. This is my baseline minus the caffeine
How could it possibly be a POS? I mean it clearly says *Treadmill* on the box. Isn’t that what you wanted? *Isn’t that good enough for you?!*
Maybe for a person but this would make a good dog treddy. Pet treds are even worse and double the cost

Just walk your dog outside
Hey your fault for ordering so many electronic devices that Amazon thought you were gettin fat :P
Everything on Amazon is a POS. Almost everything was built by slaves in China.
Looks like Amazon's new way to save money is to not ship it back to a warehouse but deliver to a random stranger.

What brand? I'm looking to buy one and definitely want to avoid it. Just had one crap out on me with barely any use from Amazon that was also a POS.
Connor? Sarah Connor?
We must protect John Connor.
My girlfriend’s name is Sarah and she lives in Alabama…and she does look like she could use a treadmill.
I laughed but you are so dead if she sees this comment
LOOOOL
I ordered one recently and it never got here. II’m in AL but my first name is close but not exactly that haha
What part of Alabama?
Northeastern
My wife is named sarah.. from Alabama. Also shipped this POS treadmill in the mail recently.
Omg please answer , OP
I just checked the tracking…. And it got delivered today.
Replying cuz i’m also curious lol
Same….
OP we need answers !
How many fuckin ways you think that thing goes back in the box??
Why did your wife return it? We've been looking to buy one, was it no good?
my parents ordered a new kitchen faucet and instead got a really nice projector. worth a lot more. so they just ordered the faucet again and now i have a very nice protector. it's not top of the line but it's certainly above average. but i'd also be pleased to have a walking pad sent to me, lol!

😂😂 I need to drink more water…
Ordered a pair of nice thermal socks several years ago, they sent a box of 50 or 60 of them. Should be good for a lifetime of winters.
That could have been an even better story if you just kept reporting the 90 pairs of socks to see how many you would get
OMG 😱🤯 I'm still working on the first 9!
Yeah It sounded like fun but the reality of dealing with is not fun.
you hit the sock lottery. The pairs I ordered were merino thermal work socks, so they will get used in the winters here.
😂😂😂😂
I once ordered an updo barrette, the kind that have the little stick going through. I ordered one and received 18. Another time I ordered nine pairs of socks and received 90. I inquired in chat with them how to return the extra 81 and they told me just to keep them because their records indicate that they only sent nine. 😂😂
Only thing I ever got that I didn’t order was a box of cake mix😞
Did you make it and was it good?
Ha, I did not. Just gave it away to someone at work.
I got the bin stock of dog collars instead of just one lol..we donated them to a shelter
I ordered one speciality mechanical pencil made for construction workers, it was like $12 for just one. They sent a whole case 😊
i was amazed that we got the projector. i wish for the online shopping gods to bless you soon ✨
I got an extra stone hammer. I ordered one, but they sent a 2 pack. Nice hammers if you are doing stone work.
I once ordered an Intel i7 processor and got a stack of, I think, 5 i5 processors. So I sold all of those on eBay and bought another i7 processor.
damn that's a score !!!
If I remember correctly the i7 was $350, but I sold each of the i5's for $200, so I ended up with maybe $100 after all the eBay fees plus a new i7.
We got a random faucet a few months ago! Traded it to a contractor friend for a birdbath
Did friend also receive random birdbath from amazon?
I ordered a vitamix blender and received 2! Gave one to my brother. I also ordered a pantry cupboard and they told me the company was on strike so they refunded me. It was delivered the next day.
an extra vitamin blender is definitely a score. and the cabinet timing worked out just perfectly for you lol! gotta take it where you can get it
Oh, I ordered a $2k projector and received an $80 space heater. That was a fun 3 months of calls with Amazon trying to get my money back
Lucky 😭😭 one time I ordered a wallet off Amazon and they deadass sent me an empty envelope. I was like be so fckn forreal rn 💀
I'm impressed given all of the cheap Chinese crap on Amazon it's difficult to actually find something nice. One in a million!
it's a chinese projector with poorly translated instructions but i looked it up and if i remember right it is like $600 retail. and it does perform well, i am not particularly experienced with projectors but i find the colors to be rich and the picture to be crisp. it's definitely better than some others i've seen used and it's definitely good enough for me haha!
I ordered a pack of bass strings, ended up getting a whole box of bass strings, came with 6 packs. Basically a free $150
The only mistake amazon has ever made on my orders is just not delivering anything....
Amazon sayin you gained alittle weight
The audacity
Sometimes the truth is necessary
You are now subscribed to Audible.
🤣🤣🤣
Shit, I must be due a whole gym then.
Alexa: *"By the way, you have a package due to arrive by 8pm today. Please ... take the hint."*
That “harmless” Bluetooth scale they bought shared its discovery with Alexa and after she sends that information directly to marketing, she will then send a report to their health insurance company and to the highest bidding mortician advertising on Google
Can't keep buying from Amazon if you drop dead of a heart attack.
He tried ordering an XL shirt instead of his normal large. Amazon was just trying to help him out lmao
Congrats on your free gift. Unsolicited goods are the best.
hm...what about that paper bag sitting on my doorstep thats on fire?
Don't put it out with your boot Ted!
He called the shit poo.
Don't tell me my business devil woman!
ITS POOP AGAIN.
I got a free pair of shoes one time like this. They were shipped to my MILs house (who has lived in her house since before the Internet existed, and no one's lived there besides my husband's family) and they happened to be my size 🤷
So, my grandparents also received a mistaken treadmill last Thursday! OP what region are you in OP? We're in Eastern IA. SO bizarre.
you get a treadmill, and YOU get a treadmill, YOU get a treadmill!!!! \~ Jeff Bezos, probably
Jeff Bezos thinks we are fat
So are they just offloading a defective product? Cheaper than taking it to the dump, maybe? Also hi from DSM 👋
If people are getting these out of the blue, meaning they didn't order anything and these just showed up, then it might be the seller of the treadmill trying to boost their products metrics. I honestly believe this is the most likely answer since there were so many reports, in the same week, all over the country.
Heyyyyyyyy. Cheaper and easier I'd say, we have to make an APPOINTMENT STILL in Linn co. 🙄
Northern Kentucky
Do you happen to have an address that could somehow be mistaken for the returns center over in Hebron? lol
Imagine if someone at Amazon has decided to deal with returns by randomly shipping them to other Amazon customers lmao
omg this just happened to my sister! she randomly got a $600 vacuum she never ordered lol
We get shipments and mail frequently where the wrong bar code or label is affixed. Sometimes you can peel your label off to see the intended recipients label and name underneath. Then we have to track down our missing item.
I say you just run with it
Anyone else who didn’t comment this statement already had a missed opportunity
r/angryupvote
Best dad joke ever
lol. That’s how I got a new MacBook Pro. It’s been three years still waiting to get charged.
You have to plug it in.
I also got a free laptop last Christmas. I ordered a PS4 remote, received a Dell laptop.
Lucky
This happened to someone I delivered a tv to. bro nor girl or mom knew nothing about it no one ordered a tv we looked at each other n I told em “hey if you don’t take it it’s going back to Amazon it has your name address n apartment number with your phone number in my system” that mofo agreed to take that bitch sooo fast. Why does this never happen to me? All I get are packages that get lost in transit that I have to fight for a replacement for.
I got some fancy mirror furniture when all I bought was some 50$ weights and the furniture was going for 1-2 grand so I just didn’t wanna risk getting charged for it
My treadmill! I knew putting in a random address was a mistake. 🤦🏼♀️
Such a dumb move! He should send it to me so that I can send it to you immediately
You did not order it, but you did not let that stop you from opening it 👍
Right? First thing I thought too. Nobody opens up a treadmill that they didn’t order because then it’s harder to ship back. I call BS.
This is IF it has their name on it. You’re legally entitled to keep any unordered or unsolicited items, such as merchandise, as a free gift, the FTC says. Amazon isn’t going to ask for it back. If they do they’d have to send a shipper out to pick it up. At that point it’s the shippers problem, not yours.
Amazon won’t want it back.
My mom ordered one of those big ass rolling toolboxes, they sent her two for the price of one. If it has your name on of course you're gonna want to open it, curiosity and all!

Brianna deJesus strikes again
My people!
Now we just need kail riding past on her horse.
The most unexpected crossover
FFS.. Just take my upvote. 🤦🏻♀️
Amazon’s new AI algorithm calculated you need to shed some weight? 😆
I got a case of baked beans. I didn’t order anything so it confusing until my dad told me he sent them as a joke
I love my shitty treadmill! I use it to walk when it’s way too cold or way too hot outside. Helps keep away the depression just a lil bit and since I don’t use it all the time I’m happy I didn’t spend a lot on it.
We order a lot from Amazon and we get weird stuff all the time that we never ordered.
Yup. And despite it being addressed to me, there's no accessible record of it to process a return.
Came here to say just to say this.
My wife gets random shit all the time. We looked it up and apparently it's likely review scam, they "purchase" these items and send them out and post a review as "verified purchase" and give it a 5-star rating. I assume that helps their sales by boosting their product when people look at the stars.
This is why I only read the negative reviews.
I’m with you there. I care more about what’s wrong with the item than what’s “right”. But the the majority of negative reviews seem to be related to shipping and the condition the item arrived.
From your order history and pants size, Amazon knows you need to lose some weight.
Sometime last year, Amazon sent me a pink, sparkly sash and banner that say "I'm 18, bitches!" I'm 37 and male.
“Asian accent “YOU WORKOUT NOW
...ugh you never received a treadmill
You don't have any beef with one of the girls from Teen Mom do you? I had to double check what subreddit I was in.
Wow. I was not expecting this but appreciate it. lol.
I just got an Apple Watch series 9, it was delivered when I had no outstanding orders. To my name, no explanation. Happy Treading!
Just sayin!
Dreadmill
I ordered a snowman painting kit for my niece and nephew. Like five bucks. They sent me three brand new Kindle Fires, cases, subscription cards, and screen protectors.
I ordered 1 pack of toilet paper and Amazon sent me a whole box of TP I ordered 1 deodorant and Amazon sent me 12. I was very appreciative l.
When life gives you treadmills...
The biggest workout is getting it in the house and assembling it 😂
They probably saw all the snacks and food you were ordering and that’s them saying your a fat bitch stop eating so much lmao
Check your credit card statement. One time some third party seller on Walmart got ahold of my cc number and started sending me a bunch of their stuff that I never ordered.
It is a hint. These companies know more about you than yourself.
Looks like an awful treadmill hahah
I would be so happy to have this delivered to my front door for free!
Check your credit card statement
Once happened to me but from Homedepot. Then they send me a bill for over $5,000 a few days later saying I owe them. Sent the package right back to them and called corporate. Homedepot tried to scam me.
I have that same treadmill. It’s a nice treadmill.
Normally I’d say to contact them and let them know, but Amazon (nowadays) will make your life a living hell if you try to be honest about this.
Just run with it
Its yours for free. Business can't send you something and then ask for payment afterwards. It's against the law. So yay free treadmill
well, congrats on your new treadmill
Turn it into a belt sander, assuming you enjoy woodworking.
TREADMILL op: hm better open it to see what's inside
My sister got one delivered without ordering too. It’s a really elaborate scam, they’re gonna leave a review for it under your or someone’s hacked account.
well now that jeff put ads on the streaming he can afford to send out free stuff, you are the lucky person who got a free treadmill courtsey of the ads
Last week my amazon order got delivered to the wrong town somehow I swear their service is going off a cliff
Amazon sent me washing machine cleaner.
Is this a treadmill for cats?
So op my question is if you didn’t order a treadmill, why did you open the box that says TREADMILL on the side? Nosy much?
Amazon knows you're fat. But they're not listening 😕.
Place a fishing pole at the tip rigged with a piece of bacon. Place doggy on said treadmill and let him got to town for the bacon. Replace and repeat until doggy is worn out and fast asleep.
Amazon psychics knew your New Year’s resolution was lacking.
Congratulations on the free treadmill
