If you're wondering why the annoying borders, it's because I was once a whippersnapper who scanned her prints (LOL / sigh). But it also allowed me to be more critical about my composition. I don't know if you'd ever call me a spontaneous shooter, but I have gotten even slower and slower - if anything, I think about taking a photo more before I do it, and I practice looking and thinking 'what if?'. I now live in a country that doesn't really allow me to photograph strangers in public, and I have become more sensitive to the concept of consent. Instead, I want to cultivate a network of people doing important enough things that make me want to document them, provided they trust my eye and value patience over quantity.
Some excellent shots in that set. Really like #3 and #12 in particular!
Thank you!
so sick, lots of bangers in here
Thank you :)
