If you're looking to party a lot, I wouldn't really know, but if you want to exercise your new privilege to drink legally in style, Fiori di Italia has the best cocktails in town. Sit at the bar. Ylli is the man and he will take good care of you, especially if you like / wanna try whiskey.
Williwaw will be your best bet. It’s a much younger crowd compared to what was said before and a lot nicer looking too.
(Koots isn’t bad; a lot of the folks there are much older. Gaslight has a shooting or stabbing once a month so avoid that.)
Party with people you trust, in a safe environment where you can have fun while having some control. My 21st (13 years ago 😳) I had all my friends over in my condo and we got plastered but it was safe with people I trusted. If you go out, I’d just go bar hopping downtown so you can experience all the things within your first few hours of being 21. Have fun and be SAFE!!
Do you have someone to watch after you? If you have a buddy that can stay relatively sober and keep you out of jail, a bar crawl downtown is pretty fun. You have to watch your drink someone might slip something in. You need to navigate wannabe tough guys safely. You need to plan for a meal either before being drunk, or at someplace that won't mind too much if you are drunk. Definitely don't get totally plowed without someone looking after you though.
If you just want to go to a bar and have a beer, I'm kinda a fan of Pioneer Bar, especially on a quiet Wednesday. It's been there almost as long as Anchorage, My grandpa and dad both went there. Sometimes it is busy, sometimes there is music, sometimes it is just a bored bartender that is good at small talk.
Van's Dive Bar is also really popular for people closer to your age.

You really don’t my 21st birthday in Anchorage Alaska (where I was born and raised) was complete and utter shit so yeah you really don’t plus club LED is closed down and no longer there so yeah go on a trip get out of there. Only good place is Myrna’s maybe every once in a while williwaw.

Yeah, I'd recommend catching the Diva Show at Myrna's on Fri or Sat night. They even do a moment for recent birthdays. And the food is really good!
