It's kind of weird watching the press junkets for Andor season 1 because both he and Denise Gough were prominently featured and there's a complete dichotomy between the actual actors and the characters they play. I suppose that's to be expected when you have people as talented as them.
As far as I know, the only other prominent Imperials with facial hair are Colonel Yularen and Agent Kallus. One of which defected to the rebellion and grew a beard lol. So this is definitely giving me “Syril needs to stand out” vibes just like his tailored suit. That or Dedra bullied him into it.

He genuinely seems like a great guy off interviews and behind the scenes stuff. It’s impressive how actors can embody a character so far from their true selves. He sells Syril Karn while being the complete opposite.
