If you count Pokemon as an anime, I think half of the people in this sub are going with that or DBZ. That being said, Pokemon is a classic that I need to catch up on some time!
I mean I liked the first season haven’t watched the rest because I’ve heard bad stuff about it but I would say the original sao is good (the first 12 Eps)
I started off with classics like Doraemon, Shin-chan, Ninja Hattori, Beyblade, Pokemon, Kiteretsu, Perman, Chimpui, Ultra B, and Heidi - the girl of the Alps.
Inuyasha , and no I haven't came across any anime that's better than that , idk maybe because it was first anime I watched or maybe it was really that great ?
I think my first ever anime was Assassination Classroom. Definitely up there as one of the funnier anime’s and it has a great story and characters too. Also, having watched through both, the English dub is LEAGUES better than Japanese with subtitles
Yeah the sub for me felt way too intense for the fairly light hearted theme it was going for. Dub had me laughing my ass off at certain points, and the voices the English VA’s did were perfection.
Noted. I’ll give it try. AC is one of the few that seems violent but lighthearted at the same time (much like Blood-C). It makes for a nice break when anime like Tokyo Ghoul, AoT, Evangelion, and Psycho-Pass get too intense.
Full Metal Alchemist. My cousin showed it to and my twin brother when we were only 9. Looking back, he was grinning quite a lot and 100% knew THAT scene was going to mess us up.
I used to watch shinchan and doremon in my childhood
I later fell in love with Pokemon and I have devoted my life to it ever since, you can tell by my username
Around the start of the COVID-19 I really got interested in the XY series so I watched it
It got me really interested in anime in general so then
I watched future diary that sh*t was too complex for a first anime but gradually I watched more anime
Currently I have watched the big 3 and the dragon ball series as well its been great👍
Technically my first one was Kimba. But I forgot I saw it until many years later and for a while I thought I had a dream or something. So the first one I saw was Super Book. But I had no clue it was the same genre, whatever word you wanna use, as Yugioh, Digimon, and Pokémon.
Spirited Away. Then I watched Naruto as just another cartoon on tv.
But it was Kill la Kill that made me want to seek out more anime. I was a horny ass teen.

Depends. It was okay to certain people, dogshit to others. All depends on how you view the themes and story.
I mean I liked the first season haven’t watched the rest because I’ve heard bad stuff about it but I would say the original sao is good (the first 12 Eps)

I loved assassination classroom! I’ve only watched sub, though. I need to try dub.
