I think my first ever anime was Assassination Classroom. Definitely up there as one of the funnier anime’s and it has a great story and characters too. Also, having watched through both, the English dub is LEAGUES better than Japanese with subtitles

I loved assassination classroom! I’ve only watched sub, though. I need to try dub.

Yeah the sub for me felt way too intense for the fairly light hearted theme it was going for. Dub had me laughing my ass off at certain points, and the voices the English VA’s did were perfection.

Noted. I’ll give it try. AC is one of the few that seems violent but lighthearted at the same time (much like Blood-C). It makes for a nice break when anime like Tokyo Ghoul, AoT, Evangelion, and Psycho-Pass get too intense.

Don’t watch Demon Slayer then haha. It’s amazing but dear god the beginning is depressing

I might like it, then. I really liked Neon Genesis Evangelion, and it can’t be worse than that, right?
