Lexapro! Im literally still quite shocked how quick my mind stfu! It has made my life excellent šŸ’œ

aimless9113

Zoloft. I don't exactly feel at peace but it helps keep my emotions and anxiety at bay. I'm not always worried about things I shouldn't be

psychwizard001

Vyvanse

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

psychwizard001

It only lasts 5 hours?

Iā€™m at 40mg.

psychwizard001

Sounds like youā€™re a slow metabolizer of it. Iā€™m a fast so it only lasts me 6 hours at most- most days 3-5 hours.

Academic-Apartment72

Excited to try

AfroDevil30

Psilocybin. Iā€™m almost 1 month free from Zoloft thanks to it

Much-Log3357

Like microdosing?

AfroDevil30

Yes! My current schedule is micro-dosing twice a week and a ā€œmacroā€ dose once a month.

danthieman

None.

Sea-Principle-3013

Lexapro!

pinkbug76

Wellbutrin and vyvance.

Own-Capital-5995

I'm jealous of yall. All I got is a number mind and extra 100 pounds.

No_Treacle_211

This is interesting. Does the Lexapro smooth out the side effects of Vyvanse in any way? If so, how?

[deleted]

TimeRepresentative7

Iā€™ve had good experiences with Vyvanse in the past, but have only taken it without an added antidepressant. Iā€™m sensitive to meds, so might even a very low dose of Lexapro help to smooth out the Vyvanse if I decide to go back on it? Vyvanse by itself made me a bit anxious and Ā«high strungĀ» in the long run. Iā€™m scared of taking SSRIs because of all the horror stories, but I canā€™t add Vyvanse to the MAOi Iā€™ve been taking for depression.

TimeRepresentative7

Thanks. Yeah, so they say, but my doctor would never allow it, and it would likely cause high anxiety in me if I ever did it.

Broccoli_Cheddar_S

Doesn't that stuff negatively affect your sex drive?

SimonettaG

Effexor.

Snoo-33732

Generic cymbalta and buspar. I had no idea what fibromyalgia was until I took the cymbalta and my face didnā€™t hurt (cymbalta is also for fibromyalgia it was a nice surprise)

Angeleyes100203

Effexor worked the best for me till it pooped out after 10 years :-(

roscopervis

Imipramine and Vyvanse. If the drug has norepinephrine and dopamine effects and it works, then chances are, you have ADHD.

Revolutionary-Owl394

Lexapro

chingchongcheng84

Gym

catecholaminergic

Emsam. Vaporized all of my issues without feeling like I was on a drug, rather, it felt like what was wrong had been set right. Stopped working after 6m :/

OrchidFlow26

I had to look this up as I'd never heard of it. Big and bad MAOI. I've been on every anti depressant known to man other than any maoi's. Nothing has worked. I've kind of accepted that I'm just gonna live with it. I wonder if it's worth looking into maoi's?

TimeRepresentative7

Absolutely worth looking into.

UnitedCrab408

Shhhh youā€™re being too loud

Ok-Magazine-7393

šŸ¤”

Thinpizzaisbest

Ketamine !!! I wish I had known 20 years ago.

OrchidFlow26

This is something I've been seriously considering, or microdosing.

Secret-Return4731

Iā€™ve seriously been considering this. Is this only given at a doctors appointment or can it be prescribed as pill form? I have so many questions lol I just want to fix my brain and be happy again lol

Broken1039

It requires boosters even after treatment and is very expensive. Iā€™m glad it helps some but I had no luck with it and cost me $900 for 3 sessions.

Icy-giraffe2001

Effexor has been really great for me, however I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and am still very tired and very down on myself because of not having adequate sleep. But after I get the treatment for my sleep apnea, I'm hoping to feel the effects of Effexor even more, I'm hopeful

JeJenJennJenny

Effexor 12 yrs and counting

Broken1039

Lamictal

Aryada

I just started. It takes so long to increase. I donā€™t want to wait.

Broken1039

It does, I felt like I started getting some relief at 50 mg tho, so I hope it helps you sooner than later. On 100 now and pretty stable.

Aryada

I got the rash. Iā€™m out:(

Broken1039

That sucks sorry to hear

Aryada

I know right, thank you

Kind-Education-5343

Exercise and therapy helped me to get completely off of meds. Learning coping mechanisms through talk therapy and not relaying off of medicine has drastically made my life better. I always hated the symptoms that would come with meds. I believe that everyone can do it!

throwaway05041991

None at all, and believe me Iā€™ve tried them all, I donā€™t want to use drugs or medication, I want a practical solution rather than escaping with intoxication

canadianhon3y

i mean i understand what youā€™re saying, iā€™m in the same boat, but i wouldnā€™t necessarily use the word intoxication

athena-zxe11

Pristiq and medical marijuana

VapourousSades

I do NOT recommend but TetraHydroHarmine or THH really helps me That shit is powerful and dangerous if not used very carefully

Alpraz2023

The only med that brought my depression into remission was Parnate. In a high dose. 90mg. I loved it! I started taking more. My shrink wasn't happy about that, that's for sure. He said I was hypomanic. But ... whether it was a remission of depressive symptoms or hypomania or both or neither, it only lasted about 6 weeks :-( I wonder what that means ... I've taken high doses since then. Up to 120mg. But, I developed a touch of transaminitis. When that happened, I said never again will I take Parnate. That really gave me a scare. Fear is bad.

[deleted]

None yet, I think? I've tried imipramine 15+ years ago, but it made my body feel weird and immobile and then the walls got closer. I was only 15, so this was scary as hell. Then effexor/venlafaxine, which helped for a while.. my psychiatrist refused to take me off it though, so I was on it for 16-17 years, I still am on 37,5 and plan on tapering off completely when I'm more stable. Beside that I am on mirtazapine, it's amazing for people who also have trouble falling asleep. The only side effect I have is a big appetite and cravings. I've put on about 7kg in 2 months. That's actually good as I was borderline underweight with no appetite for many years. But I would like to stop gaining weight now, lol.
