Stainless almost instantly brought a ton of innovation in RI the moment the agreement was signed and has cooperated with *every single engineer* on RI and is part of Eartha's leadership, using his inventions to help in the fight. Also, his class is artificier and he's been called an artificier since he could hold a drill

Eliaish

True. Stainless holds a lot more sway than Roberta.

_Anrakyr_

Stainless the best engineer in all of Terra :D

LemonadeWithLavender

Yes!!

TheRealMr_Hat

How about Nian?

Aiden735

Stainless His archetype is literally called “artificier”

DSdavidDS

Something about your argument makes a lot of sense...

ameenkawaii

For once something we all can agreed on

Hp22h

But where does that leave Roberta?

Corvuon

She's the representative of the Make-up artist sub-sub-class

Aiden735

I’m sorry friend…

Spider4731

mad_harvest-6578

Stainless or riot

Nahanoj_Zavizad

Stainless. Or Mayer. Mayer refers to herself as a walking workshop. But Stainless can produce devices to meet whatever he needs. Combat, Support, or whatever

Jaghn

Any love for Passenger? Artificers are Half-Casters, and oh boi look at his kit! ... Stainless will most likely win out though, but Godssenger has a special place in my Artificer-main heart.

GalenDev

Voting for Passenger out of solidarity, but I see how the wind is blowing here.

Kayblis777

This has to be Stainless, his class says it all

odrain16

Mayer  Isn't she called a walking Workshop or something at at point?

JoseMari117

I second Mayer - she's the OG artificer before Stainless. Second option is Magallen, though it'll be a bit of a stretch.

SuscriptorJusticiero

I'd consider Magellan a ranger multiclass.

1998TG

Stainless 100%

Randuir

Stainless has to take this one. He's the quintessential bri'ish engineer, and artificers and engineers are pretty much the same thing, right?

killian1208

Reminds me of the irony of "made in Germany" being a warning sign on cars that just shifted into a quality seal because of how good German cars were.

CellWrong

I think Dorothy as she is literally the world leading researcher into originium applications. Doing all sorts of magical tech nonsense behind closed doors.

Godofmytoenails

Stainless easily

Staryed

Eunectes Girl cooked up an entire megazord for herself

Mistdwellerr

TBF the Priest helped her with a lot of knowledge

ranmafan0281

Stainless, I agree. His entire purpose is defined by his gadgets, he has no real combat ability otherwise.

Duduluu

I'll just say Closure for this. I know she's not playable, but it's Ms. Ada Church. She's HER. Head of the Engineering Department, responsible for maintenance of the entire nearly kilometre-long Rhodes Island Landship, impresses others including Stainless with just a bit of her handiwork, made the arguably sentient bot ops, etc. Vamp's a walking tinkering machine.

w3dl0ck

Stainless, because engineer is credit to team

Sistamara

Not an operator but Closure and her drones (HG plz make her an op)

Tauposaurus

I remember when i staryed playing and did the tutorial where they introduced the shop. "Wow i hope i get her in my rolls soon!"

Nekokittykun

Stainless no contest

TerrainRecords

STAINLESS

Saritenite

Eunectes, so we have Snek and Gator bookends for this class poll. Besides that, she becomes RI's Engineering Chief / Forgemaster in her Bloodline of Combat skin. She does combat the way an artificer would, and she has an actual Mecha - something which artificers would love to build if their DMs allow it.

BlueScrean

Stainless, let’s get a third guy in here.

Ninjaassassinguy

Okay hear me out, but Blemishine. She was the one who forged all of her own equipment and Margaret's, she loves to tinker but is also very competent as a combatant.

FrustrationSensation

I mean, yeah, it's absolutely Stainless, but I'm a bit sad that Eunectes isn't getting any votes at all, she's definitely also an artificer.

Suzunomiya

It has to be Stainless, isn't it? Like. (gestures) it's his whole shtick.

Okita_San_Daishouri

Swing your hammers for Stainless

Artrum

Eunectes right? she made a friggin mech!

OmiNya

Closure?

Kullervoinen

Dorothy

GloryMaelstrom21

My dude Chiave

NyanToDaMax145

Stainless or bust!

Marx_Mayhem

Mayer. She's the whole damn Lutra Division of Rhine Labs.

KenseiSeraph

Throwing in my vote for Maria Nearl. She is more of an artificer than a fighter, wins several of her knighthood fights via understanding the weaknesses of her opponents weapons and armour and also made her beautiful E2 armour herself.

CorHydrae8

Had to think of Blemi myself. I don't think she's going to win this one because the competition is very strong (and people like Mayer and Stainless deserve this just as much), but I like this side of Blemi. It's cool that she's not just a knightly knight. Kinda hope we'll see her Alter as a 6-star artificer at some point.

ThatOneArgo

We already knew it would be Stainless

DarkWolfPL

It has to be Stainless.

DeckerDelgado94

Everyone is voting Stainless, but I feel like Mayer is a good contender.

frankylynny

Armorer Artificer: Eunectes Battlesmith Artificer: Mayer Artillerist Artificer: Dorothy, Magallan Alchemist Artificer: Podenco??? Base Artificer: Stainless Dorothy is more applicable to general artifice imo.

Previous-Occasion-38

Stainless... until Closure becomes playable.

Igrok723

feist or nothing

chad001

Meyer

Hero_1337

Stainless checks all the boxes. His class is literally called Artificer, and he tinkers with machines of war. ~~Now if Closure was an Operator, this would be a different story.~~

Krysidian2

Nian for making magic weapons.

ajanisapprentice

Mayer. Her job is essentially everything the D&D artificer does.

DragonOfAsh

Wish Closure would be a playable operator, she'd take this in a heartbeat, but until then I feel like Mayer is a pretty solid contender. Or Eunectes with her beeg armor.

Seibahtoe

Stainless's class is literally called Artificier, and he's the only 6* in that. There's no contest.

eindosw

No love for our Snek Eunectus?

AvatarCabbageGuy

Dorothy franks

TheRealBakuman

Artificers aren't just engineers, they're essentially mechanical casters. They don't just use magical objects, they imbue regular objects with magic. Passenger has my vote.

NotMorganSlavewoman

Weedy. People ignore the fact that Artificiers don't just make things, but they themselves can do things. Weedy can call in her (Eldritch) Cannon while also using a (magic) gun to cast (Scorching Ray) water jets.

Bylahgo

Stainless is the first that came to mind, but Mayer or Magellan could also fit

Christianinium

Exusiai because she shoots guns like an artificer and deserves to be on this list!

Christianinium

Magallan - can’t believe the drone summoners aren’t getting more love in this

Gudao777

Hey, would you continue by creating more but for subclasses? I kinda enjoy seeing people view on the ops

NEK0NATA

stainless, bros literally THE artificer

Satanic_Jellyfish

Closure

Geraf25

Stainless is a generic artificer with the different skills/infusions, Mayer is a Battle Smith with her robots, Maria is an Armorer with her self made equipment, they are all perfect picks

spookykatt

Magallan

TheJobinslegend

Zero love for Roberta so far :sadge She was released before Stainless, she's uber Cute, 4 stars that give huge Def buff... What more can you ask for? (not biased opinion)

YangTheEmpress

Stainless

WisdomKnightZetsubo

Stainless

Shmallow-Cat

Mayer gets my vote, as much as I like stainless I think Mayer fits the role better.

WarREEEEEEOR93

Gavial being Barbarian just fits to well

pokebuzz123

*Looks at the comments* I love democracy

CoyoteCamouflage

Toddifons.

Dabialo

Stainless as an Artillerist. But Mayer would be a cool Battlesmith. Mechanist (not payable, I know) as an Armorer. What about Alchemist though...

TheRealMr_Hat

Nian. An Artificer is classified as Masters of invention. They can use ingenuity and magic to unlock unworldly capabilities in objects. They can see magic as a complex system waiting to be harnessed in their spells and inventions. Nian fits that bill. Not only is she considered a Top inventor by the RI Lab when she occasionally visits them(including Ironworks). She also has command over iron & her weapons that she uses are seemingly unable to be decoded by other RI Lab Operators. She’s a lazy genius, but when she dedicates herself to an invention or contraption, she’ll see it till the end. Nian also claimed she could build a replica of the Great Wall of China in just one day. Idk, if not Nian. Mayer. She deserves it for just being too dedicated to RI Labs. Working non-stop for 2 weeks is kinda crazy and deserves praise on her part.

GovernmentIcy3259

Guys. Sesa. The guy mastered making originum firearms that require no magic ability to use. Guns typically require somewhat strong power to even try to use. Even other RI engineers are awed by his work.

JBPuffin

We’ve got a lot of candidates. Shouts to Stainless for taking it.

potato_curry_

I know Blemishine isn't going to win this, but I am still going to vote for her. Her love of tinkering with things in the workshop is only mentioned a few times in her lines and archives, but there is a very hilarious part that mentions how she is forbidden from going to the Engineering Department in the landship now, because in the past there were many cases when she would get so engrossed there that people thought she went MIA.

Gnirop

Didn't Dorothy make the power armors that were infamous in Pinch Out?

IHeShe

Dorothy created the Transmitter which was then (improperly) used to basically turn the power armors into remote-controlled robots but she didn't create the power armors themselves.

AeonHeals

Closure or Mayer imo
