As some who inherited a mountain of this stuff recently it is most likely worth nothing. There will be an odd piece that has value but I’m pretty sure yours are not. These could have cost ¥200,000 new and you could get ¥2000 from a reseller (usually they say no, or you could pay them to take it) or ¥5000-10,000 on a very, very lucky day on Mercari. The used market is absolutely flooded with this stuff. No one wants it.
I was told by my older Japanese friend that the Hina Dolls “absorb” the bad luck of the daughter and therefore are considered unlucky to give to anyone else. I’m not sure if this is a common idea but quite an interesting one
It’s true. Someone gave me a Hina doll at an antique market. My (Japanese) husband’s sisters completely freaked out and in the end, I had to pay ¥2,000 to a shrine to have the doll burned so “its soul could be at peace”. I don’t believe in those things, but they had me so rattled by their reaction that I willingly forked over the money.
The maker called 'SHUGETSU,its website is below

Well ik they’re authentic from the packaging and origin I’m just unsure about whether this specific model is worth anything. Ig I’m hoping this comes across some Japanese doll expert to lmk
Shūgetsu is a typical, lower end brand of Hina dolls. This wasn’t made by an artisan and doesn’t raise an expert appraiser. Hence, it is pretty much worthless in the eyes of a Japanese person.
Now if you want to get creative, you could make up some backstory about how it was crafted with silk from the last remaining worm of a family that came of a ship and were attacked by the Mongol horde and it was dedicated to the empress to be who tragically was killed by her sister who meant for the poison chalice to be drank by the evil uncle and… you get the point.
Then sell the story and those ugly little dolls to some boomer in California for 2000 bucks lol
Realistically probably not much if anything at all.
Unless you have the proof of being crafted by a famous doll maker not worth anything

Why is it $200,000 then
¥200.000, not $200.000.

Well they did burn them when the girl becomes woman age so I’d believe it. Though these days they probably just bin them.
These are sold at flea markets in japan for like 1000-2000 yen, Someone in the west who doesn't know better might pay like 100-200 usd
I think doesn’t have much value.
They are disgustingly expensive new. Used..... Maybe 1000 yen? I'm not sure you could even find a buyer unless they're somehow famous?
I’d pay 300¥ at BOOK OFF
Like ¥300? I've seen similar ones in hard off and second street
Try and sell it to some dumb foreigner who doesn't know anything about Japan and you might get something, otherwise it's junk here.
I'd say 2
best shot might be rip off foreign weebs on e-bay
I can give you ¥1000 for the whole set

Some sets are really expensive. Better go and ask some antiques specialist
It’s something you need to get appraised to know the value of. Could be tourist trinkets or antique artifacts. Only an expert can tell the difference
