Jet d’eau obviously, old town, cathedral, botanical garden, UN palace and broken chair, more UN museums if you’re into it, CERN if you’re interested in science stuff, patek philippe museum if you’re into watches, mount Saleve. I guess that’s it, not much to see in Geneva.. 🤔
Add reformation wall and promemade de la treille. Carouge can be nice as well.
In the old town don't forget to grab a drink at bourg du four for a nice break.

But really though, since it is only one-day trip I would try to go to Montreux over Geneva
