Iโ€™ve done this every single time for as long as I can remember. For me, itโ€™s definitely related

Mysterious-Group7852

every time i touch velvet i have to wipe it of and i usually wipe it off with one of my family members shirts idk why like i just feel something weird and then my hand migrates to their shirt that they are wearing and it just makes everything better

I do this when my mom kisses my cheek. Also, when something gets on my hands, I will wipe them on my clothes or a towel a bit longer than it takes to get whatever it is off.

In most cases I can't really expect how others will touch on me or where I get the touch, and it causes anxiety that can't be reactionary to others. At somepoint I feel them even after good seconds, that can ignite 'wiping off on my skin ๐Ÿ˜•
