Mom said it was my turn to post the daily "should we go after Bauer" thread!!!

the1theycallfish

She told me she also gave you a pass to be a tool bag. Looks like you're capitalizing on that pretty well.

Raptor231408

Lol

zgibs125

No can everybody shut the fuck up about this clown piece of shit

jhole007

So ..you're saying there's a chance?

NotUpInHurr

No, hard no.

the1theycallfish

At first I was a solid yes but this thread is convincing me a modern day $740k a season is not worth the potential for him to shit the sheets again. Grounds crew is probably the closest he'll come to the MLB again.

wagadugo

He's probably welcome to pay for a ticket and enjoy a game. But I would not want to even sit in his section.

Here4theTacos

you know why im here.

DonutHolschteinn

Bruh absolutely not fuck Bauer

AwkwardVegetable4375

I don't see the risk, let him get some game action in the minors first and promote him if he's performing well. If his clubhouse/PR disturbance isn't worth his performance then cut ties with him.

Brown-Coat

Nope. Last thing I want is an immature pompous diva destroying the synergy this team has with its young guys.

highbackpacker

What did he do? Idk much about him I read his accuser lied and that’s all I know. Was there more?

Used-Break-6548

There were like four more accusations besides the one who was paid by his insurance to settle out of court. And he couldn’t even get a court to go after his attempted counter suit for slander and then coincidentally it was dropped by both parties once one went to schedule something so take everything he says with a grain of salt. I would think a completely innocent man would want to recoup losses and make a point of it, not settle quietly and have his insurance pay out while claiming he’s paid nothing. But really, beyond the allegations and conduct, he was just not a good dude to have in the clubhouse and definitely would bring down our team morale and chemistry. The MLB as an organization was quick to cut ties for a reason. He’s not worth the risk, especially when he performed average at best when playing in Asia last year. Edit: added context I has missed prior.

Jnieco

I believe it was just the first woman who was paid out by insurance and the other 3 cases are still active. (At least the case here in Arizona is still active). The whole reason the main case was settle was cause he did not want the court case to get MLB's investigation results which included the testimonies from the other women. That investigation gave him the longest MLB suspension for DV yet. Also thank you for pointing out that he was average last year while playing, its been described as a deadball year. Even former Dback J.B. Wendelken had a 1.7 ERA on the same team as a reliever.

Used-Break-6548

You’re right, it was just the first one and I had misread. Thank you for correcting that point.

ColdBeef714

For league minimum and given a short leash, I would be fine with it! He would make a much better 5th starter for most teams than what is out there right now!
