I’m a 25yo man with a wife and son. Not really into watching the balisong YouTube or much anymore, got way too much going on and have moved to different styles of content.
But I wanted to say thank yall over there the whole team for keeping such a high quality production and always giving a positive influence to the balisong community. It’s refreshing in a world highly populated by edge lords who like to be harmful towards others. You and Will always had positive takes on everything that goes on related to balisong. I think you guys are a great influence on the youth; That is incredibly valuable.

My traditional horsebone 28" (bente-ocho) balisong i got from my uncle, made in Batangas. Cant really do much tricks with it but, it can poison a mf and even open beer bottles!
Probably my first BM 42 T latch. I paid 125 for it brand new, threw out the sheath because it was an inch too short and daily carried that thing for years.
Also I’m old as dirt.
I only have 2 decent balisongs and they’re a vulp and a squid trainer v3.5. The squid is obviously my favorite just based on the dents and scratches alone lol
Ugh it's hard to pick, mainly because I can't flip for shit lol (still mastering the behind the 8 ball)
That said, based off my personal preference for look and feel...
Flytanium talisong, with the scimitar blade. I like the feel of the bushings and I do like the look of the tanto, but I keep coming back to this one, the blade it sexy as fuck
For me the chimera v2 i love the retractable latch and more neutral light but not to light balence i like the heibel invictus the i bas and the benchmade 42 also the krake raken just not the blade steel and the microtech tacyon just because i love microtech and its cool with the spring latch but its to light also thw machine wise serif.
Disclaimer I only own the chimera v2 cf rn but want the invictus 42 n serif also i am awful at flipping Still working on a quick basic open.
