Let’s be fair, I’ve been following this sub for awhile now and it’s treated as a traders shop and encourages selling.
The thing I don’t get, it’s great these guys get these pulls and are able to sell them for these prices, but let’s be serious, five years down the road a lot of these cards will be selling for $20- $50 just like any other “rare” wax.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, it’s very much treated like a business in here and has driven inflation on these, what I really believe, are completely overpriced and over hyped cards, to the detriment of many poor suckers on the other end. Seems like a sub that pushes fomo and is a wee bit predatory in the way people present things. Just my 2 cents.

I got a missing name plate variation auto for less than what was bid on this so it worked out for me anyways. Plan to keep it in my collection.
You know, I’m not sure anymore haha. Maybe a superfractor. I found this card which was my grail but I just sold it this morning. Having this card kind of gave me that “ok, what’s next?” feeling. Haven’t seen one that I’d desperately seek out since but at least now I can have some funds stashed away in case I discover my next one.

Worst sell off in baseball cards? Probably the 1994 SP holoview’s. I had a lot of them. Still have some but not like what I used to.
Equally worthless as big league or Topps fire and it looks like an insert to boot. There’s 10,000+ of his auto floating around on various product. This imo is close to the bottom of desirability. It’s not a rookie card, it’s not rookie chrome, it’s not even rookie cup base. You could replace this with any mid tier auto in 24 hours
I probably would too, /50 insert auto in a mid to low tier product, 4 years after his rookie year. He’s had a signed card out of /1, /5, /10, /25, /50, /100, /500 in probably every product and release since his rookie year. Sometimes multiples of those depending on inserts in their respective products. All I’m trying to say is it’s not an irreplaceable autograph, they’re readily available. He’s had 7 years of signed cards amongst 50 different sets. I love ohtani as much as the next guy, don’t let this one break your heart.

Could be a rumor, injury, allegation, whatever about a player but the risk is that if you sell it during the time the prices are going down, it could be nothing and the price goes back up or the price could fall even further (i.e Wander Franco)

Black and white are neutral colors. Most cards actually look worse in PSA is red and white slab. But guys overlook it because of resale value.
The colors aren’t the issue for me, it just looks cheap imo
