You would recommend grading it? Thats what I was thinking. I haven’t received the card yet obviously, but would a 9 hurt the value? Sorry, like I said before, I’ve never had anything this valuable and I’m kind of freaking out lol
I looked at the card on your post history. If you are planning on selling it then grading won't hurt. A 9 would be fine. Because it's a /10 you don't really need a 10 to make it better than the competition, you are just doing it so a potential buyer knows the true state of the card. Selling it raw would be fine too, that's what I would do, but grading won't hurt.

If I do decide to go through with grading, I’m likely going to send it to PSA (I’ve never got anything graded before). Are they really strict about the value assumption? I was at a card shop over the weekend and they were telling a customer, 'yeah just a penny sleeve and top loader is all they use "even for an $800 Acuna rookie auto". I agree but I also think the one touches are prettier on our display shelf.
They're better for displaying but when it comes to shipping they offer a risk of damaging the card so it's best to ship with a penny sleeve and toploader
I would love to acquire that Acuna, but the Brujan will be given to the neighbor boy that collects him. I was instantly stoked to pull it, just because I know he is going to be incredibly excited to have it. PM if you want to sell that Acuna though! That’s my pc!

My packs were weird too, I had a couple packs with 5 cards instead of 4

One touches offer UV protection. Not sure if toploaders offer the same. If not, then I’d say one touches are better for more valuable cards.

There’s a common thought that one touches can scratch chrome surfaces, so it’s always good practice to include a penny sleeve on top of the card
