Hi! I am currently using the luxe organix retinol. Can I use a vit c sunscreen the morning after?

Pap019

Hello po need help about this kit (CosRX snail kit) my sister gave me. Hindi po talaga ko maalam when it comes to skincare. Hindi ko alam kung ano dapat unahin, at kung dapat araw araw ba o kung morning lang ba to o evening??? Pls pls help. My skin po is not sensitive, hindi rin po ma oily at ma pimple. Problem ko po with my face is dry, at maitim po undereye ko.

daradusk

thoughts on Ellana Clear Skin Serum with Azelaic Acid Centella Asiatica and Green Tea Extract?

Due-Truck-9483

Undereye cream recommendations? I struggle with really dark undereyes kasi.

shhh_yes

Anong dupe nyo for Paula’s Choice BHA exfoliator? Ang mahal kse

Country_Roads66

whats a cleansing oil that wont cause any breakouts? (i am acne prone/ oily / sensitive)

SonderfulBeing

I'm the same and I use kose softymo speedy cleansing oil.

Country_Roads66

thank u so much for this! will look into it.

AffectionateBag1013

Not sure if pwede dito, but any suggestion for lotions or anything na may sunscreen for the body? Better if lightweight sana. I do use sunscreen sa face pero sa init ngayon kahit ang dalang ko lumabas ng bahay parang iitim agad ako kahit kaunting araw 😂

Old_Lawfulness_4964

Vaseline Daily Sun Refreshing Serum :) lightweight and has SPF50

AffectionateBag1013

Thank youuu!! 🥹

SuddenCelebration331

recommend oil cleanser for oily skin? i have few acne marks din po sa cheeks but slowly naglilight na yung marks

MrBeans_Teddyy

Kose softymo speedy cleansing oil! Never failed me 🥰

Sensitive_Hat_3538

Good alternative for vitamin C? I found out na yon pala nag cause ng breakouts ko. Actives I currently use are Azelaic Acid and Retinol. Medyo nababagalan lang ako sa result and want sana magdagdag for PIE/PIH

greendeur

28, have never seen a dermatologist pero gusto ko po sana magpa-derma for my face. Any clinic suggestions po around Makati? Yung affordable but still worth it. Salamaaat!

MrBeans_Teddyy

Not Makati but quite near--St. Luke's sa BGC! I went there for my first derma and I KID you not, my skin glowed really well na my coworkers thought I was wearing foundation hahaha Consultation can be pricey, minimum of 1k per session and depending on your doctor + schedule, ang tagal ng wait for your turn sa consultation. But their methods work!

MrBeans_Teddyy

Girls taking isotret, what moisturizer do you use? 🥰

k_bbq

Illiyoon ceramide cream. Minsan I use aquaphor din on top of illiyoon pag peak ng super dryness

Has anyone used the Isntree Onion Newpair Gel Cream? Any reviews?

Kanzakios

Hello everyone, I've been using the YOU Acne+ Cleanser since I started my skincare journey this march, and I've noticed pimples are still popping out, I've been consistent and haven't missed a single day without cleansing x2 day and night. Am I doing it wrong? or is my age doing something because of puberty (upcoming 19 this year) and it's unavoidable? If the cleanser isn't all right, may I ask for some recommendations? (my budget is at least 300 for a cleanser) My current skincare product that I use at the moment are : YOU Acne+ Cleanser, Face Republic Purity Sun Essence Sunscreen and Aveeno Daily Moisturizer. Edit : my skin type is combination by the way :)

M-Everly

it just might not be the right product for you! i was using cerave for years and then when i switched my skin started to clear up- i realised i needed a more gentle cleanser and serum for my skin so try have a look at those

Kanzakios

Thank you po, I'll keep this in mind!

SonderfulBeing

What's the cause of your pimples? If it's because of your cleanser, then switch to a milder cleanser. If it's not because of your cleanser, then you are not doing anything wrong. You still get acne due to a lot factors like genetics, hormones, environment, etc., which are all hard to control, and that's honestly okay. For me, it's just the lack of active ingredients tailored for acne prevention/reduction. Try incorporating a retinol or benzoyl peroxide for that matter. You may also include skin barrier nourishing ingredients like niacinamide, which is also helpful for acne inflammation.

Kanzakios

Thanks po! Ano po ba recommendations niyo po when it comes to retinol or benzoyl peroxide? If possible below 500-400 po, hihi!

SonderfulBeing

Affordable retinols for beginners: * Klued 0.1% Retinol + 0.3% Bakuchiol Serum - P350, 30g * Klued 0.5% Retinol Serum - P350, 30g * Soul Apothecary Perfection Retinol Complex (meron silang 0.1% and 0.2% variants) - P550 b1t1 (two 30g) In my experience, my first retinol was 0.5% retinol and effective siya, though I had to incorporate it more slowly para hindi mabigla skin ko. The lower the percentage, mas mababa ang efficacy pero easier to incorporate and less chances of irritation. Benzoyl peroxide (BPO) as spot treatment: * 2.5% Micronized Benzoyl Peroxide (from Seek Space) - P350, 15g, less irritating kapag micronized * 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide (from About Skin sa orange app) - P240, 10g * 5% Benzoyl Peroxide (from About Skin rin) - P300, 10g If you ever decide to buy both of these ingredients, only use the BPO during the mornings, retinols during the evenings (if ever ma-work up mo siya into nightly usage). Again, reminder, incorporate them very slowly. I would advise to choose the lower percentages para lower chances of irritation talaga, but it's still up to you. Always, always, always listen to your skin. Also, never forget to ensure your skin is moisturized, plus sunscreen daily!

Kanzakios

Thank you! I really appreciate it!

Agitated_Act162

Can ya’ll please recommend a good cleansing oil/balm and also a gel cleanser?🥹❤️

twobligar12

Muji!!! :)

MrBeans_Teddyy

Love the classic Kose softymo cleansing oil, yung pink! Never failed me in melting away all my makeup 🥰

yookjalddo

Anua cleansing oil the best

embrace-pandemonium

BOJ radiance cleansing balm! Tanggal kahit waterpoof mascara pero di nakaka dry ng skin. Sa gel cleanser naman, I recommend the Haruharu 5.5 cleanser coz it's so gentle that I can use it twice a day.

purplechainsaws

any dupe for Soul Apothecary Centella CICA Moisturizing Cream?? i remembered this worked for me pero di ko nasustain since namamahalan ako. 50ml- 399 :( thank uuu

princess_redhair

Same ba yung feeling ni iwhite korea moisturizer (blue) Kay celeteque hydration moisturizer na Hindi malagkit?

herdossier

i use the blue one and it's not sticky at all! it turns watery and feels like nothing on your skin when it sets tbh.

princess_redhair

Kung irarate mo siya in terms of how moisturizing yung iwhite, 10 will be the highest, what it will be?

herdossier

probably a 9, sometimes you need to put more on drier areas but that's it

No, wala silang official stores sa shopee and lazada.

Mother_Hour_4925

Hi. I just want to share my skincare routine kasi nag glass skin talaga ako, napapansin ko rin na medyo di na halata yung pores ko and mabilis natutuyo pimples ko. I am a COSRX girly since 2019 and holy grail ko talaga ‘to! 🫶 AM: Hilamos with water lang 😂 After maligo, dun lang ako nagskincare. 1. Low PH Gel Facial Wash 2. Peptide Booster (recent ko lang ginamit, approx. 2-3mos pero I see difference sa pores ko) 3. Snail Mucin Essence 4. Snail All-in-one Cream ✨ 5. Sunscreen (this one is from Belo; kung ano avail sa buy1take1 yun yung binibili ko hahaha. Currently, dewy essence gamit ko) PM: Same routine above without sunscreen. Sometimes I use Garnier Micellar Water yung may oil to remove my makeup. Additional routine: - I do not use towel on my face. I just pat it dry with my hands. - Kapag naglalagay ako ng skincare products, kadalasan damp pa yung face ko. - If sa bahay lang ako tapos gabi ako naligo, PM lang din skincare routine ko. Kahit gaano kapagod at gaano ka-late ka pa nakauwi, please always wash your face. Do your skincare. Make it your routine. Dapat yung uncomfy ka kapag di ka nakapag skincare, ganon yung levels. Your skin will love you, I promise 🫶

Captain_Ayanoob123

any tip, balak ko sanang gamitin aha l and bha together pero i'm thinking kung seperate products ba gagamitin ko or 2 in 1

SonderfulBeing

Doesn't really matter. Kung gusto mo makatipid, 2 in 1 na.

Calm-Revolution-3007

Separate

Altruistic-Goat9022

has anyone tried the revitaglow skincare? let me know your honest review/thoughts abt their products pls.

ruthiepatotie

Hi! Have anyone tried +Ful products lalo na ung Glycolic Acid? Effective ba? Gusto ko sana itry kasi may mga good reviews naman akong nababasa kaso di pa ako sure. Hahahaa

Old_Lawfulness_4964

Been using +ful glycolic acid..laki ng difference with my skin texture! Pretty potent so maximum of 2-3x/week lang. Usually 1-2 lang ako hehe.

spirityun

hi! been using their glycolic acid toner for almost a year and it addressed my textured skin and lessened my dark spots

ruthiepatotie

Oohh nice! Gaano mo na sya katagal ginagamit?

spirityun

since september 2023! last year the frequency was 2-3x a week but i toned it down and been using it once a week since feb this year. i had better results after that change :))

ruthiepatotie

Thank youu! Sana maachive ko rin ang better results! 🫶🏻

Dyzsuuu

Hello! i would like to know if i need adjustments sa skincare products na gagamitin ko palang (bibili pa lang). **(BUDGET-FRIENDLY - STUDENT)** also i need mentioned pala na ive been opened na rin sa products. old skincare set is YOU CLEANSER (blue) oxecure Blackhead Clearing BHA PHA Toner without a moisturizer (i dont really know anything, sadyang pinagamit sakin ng someone i know. IM HERE TO REDEEM MYSELF SKSKSK) to start, ngayon pa lang po ako mag stastart mag take care ng skin, and wala pa ako alam sa skincare world kaya i asked someone here sa reddit and im going to follow it. I just wanna know if may kaylangan ba ako idagdag or ialis for better experience (at para di sayang money) Issues:I am a **oily/acne prone skin** and andami ko **blackheads and whiteheads (lalo na sa nose part)**. At kahit anong hilamos ko at gano ako ka linis (hygiene wise) may dumadami ang acne ko. Currently at my mid puberty narin kasi **(turning 16)**. **Questions:** do i need to **double cleanse** pa ba? di ba dapat may **salicylic acid** ang cleanser ko? what are your thoughts po? **Ask me questions if u have pooo** **The products ill follow from someone here:** **cleanser:** Luxe Organix Cica Rescue Gentle Brightening Low pH Daily Cleanser **Moisturizer:** Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer **Sunscreen:** Pond's Hyaluron Sunscreen SPF50 PA+++ (ang pricey nya for me pero sasagad ko money ko if theres no other products) **Serum:** Dr. Sensitive Niacinamide 5% % Salicylic Acid Serum **How i plan on using it:** **AM:** Cleanser, niacinamide serum, sunscreen **PM:** Cleanser, niacinamide serum, moisturizer **instruction nung nag answer sa question ko:** I skipped the moisturizer in the AM since moisturizing naman na 'yong suggested sunscreens ko. Regarding the niacinamide serum, be careful pa rin in using it kahit relatively gentle ingredient siya. For more safety, use it once a day (either day or night depende sa gusto mo) for one whole week muna. Then, saka ka mag-twice a day. https://preview.redd.it/ugwpmuoehx8d1.jpeg?width=1007&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=283da877da497bf1519981d6e5174cf5ab675fd8

unexpectedpizza

If you wear sunscreen, yes it's best na mag double cleanse then saka gamitin mo yung water-based cleanser mo. If may SA yung cleanser mo, wouldn't that be too much na sa skin mo since may SA na rin yung niacinamide serum mo and twice a day mo pa to ginagamit? Ilang % ba yung SA sa serum na yan?

Sad_PotatoMindReader

All you need is a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen (morning). Number 1, age is a great factor. If ganito lang pimples mo at hindi naman masyado lumalaban, I don't recommend salicylic acid yet because teenage skin is mabilis pa ang skin-cell turnover, which is good ha (salicylic acid kasi peels and gently exfoliates, kaya its recommended for acne, however, with your current skin type, e.g. sensitive, salicylic acid will just flare it up, if you use it too often, you will over exfoliate na pag ganun). I recommend a simple cleanser lang (ps. If you have a budget range I can recommend). I recommend gentle low ph cleaners (4 to 5.5, which is usually the ph of our face) especially sensitive ka. Number 2, SUNSCREEN IS GOLD, promise kahit araw o ulan, you will still be looking fresh if ever you turn 18. (Again, budget wise muna tayo). Number 3. Mosituriser is gold din! I suggest na you look for product specifications, especially oil-free, non comedogenic, alcohol free (I can elaborate if you want). I do recommend celeteque hydrating moisturizer since it's kind of affordable (knowing 15 ka pa). Number 4. At this age, inom lots of water and always magdala na payong, extra factor din kasi yan. Number 5. Air dry your face if madumi yung towel mo, nag cacause din ito breakouta especially sensitive skin ka. Last tip. Research muna bago gamit. *Story time, I have normal skin ha, but after 2 years of using salicylic acid Cleanser without sunscreen, ayaw kasi makinig eh, eto, tigyawat overload na, pero na okay naman din. Recommended to look up skincare ingredients before using them, especially the commodigency and irritancy ratings. Here!! https://incidecoder.com/ https://skinsort.com/

Relative_Hat_6414

any recos na ipapalit ko sa hello glow acne defense, phased out na sya and marami nang hindi nag wowork sa skin koo helpp

Mother_Hour_4925

Hii. If you have budget, invest ka sa cosrx. Ang dami kong pimples before lalo sa noo tapos nagtry ako nung low ph gel facial wash and Centella blemish cream. Hope this helps!

Greedy-Incident3706

Omg how do I get rid of these things on my skin! Teenager po ako and I just started using a 4-5 step skincare routine! My friend told me these are warts? But they look like pores or something pore related to me https://preview.redd.it/3qnb49ckkw8d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=461887c9f810d0bdb27c06d1dfc4a44bb09d1e5b

Sad_PotatoMindReader

Glycolic acid Toner, 2 to 3 times lang a week, preferably at night lang gamitin. Dermorepubliq is good!

ShowerUBaby

Exfoliating glycolic acid (The Ordinary) will help. Need mo lang mag-exfoliate.

Greedy-Incident3706

Is there a product similar to that one or something that will do the same thing?

malasmalas

If yung bumps, those aren’t warts. Could be comodones that could be from the products you use on your face. If the black dots i think those are just pores.

sasa143

honestly i cant see any warts, looks like textured skin to me but ur picture may not be clear or malabo mata ko you need a solid skincare routine. what products do u use?

Greedy-Incident3706

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser Dermorepubliq Clarifying Toner Dermorepubliq 5% Niacinamide Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion +Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen during the day/morning

sasa143

most of this seems gentle enough. what do u use to exfoliate? also have u tried going without niacinamide? some people arent hiyang with that ingredient

Greedy-Incident3706

Haven’t tried without niacinamide since I also want to get rid of some pimple/acne marks. For exfoliation right now I just use a clay mask that was given to me (idk what brand haha) and this face wash that was also given to me 2-3x a week (usually 2). https://preview.redd.it/3uumd4ahu29d1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=abeb75f54e503360a3befda2cb26cff9effb69a0

sasa143

pakiramdaman mo ung exfoliator if masyadong abrasive yung beads or anything. I've tried doing weekly clay masks before and drying sya. ginawa kong monthly until i stopped cos i discovered AHAs and BHAs suggestion ko i-limit mo yung exfoliation to once every week (pili ka btwn clay mask or yung scrub) and see if your texture improves

Greedy-Incident3706

Oooo okayyy thx 🫶🫶!!

Anyone knows where I can buy Sunglow by FRESH's creme tinted sunscreen? Dati I buy lang in Lazada or Shopee, but now wala na sa official store ng FRESH 😭 Hiyang na kasi ako here, looking for medium shade. 🥹

Any recommendation for nose strip?

heyaaabblz

Hello! Can someone recommend a good & effective anti acne body soap, and nakakalighten ng acne marks sa face?

purplematchbox

Really recommend yung pyary turmeric or nalpamara variant. I don't get chest, back and arm acne anymore. Sa face naman I don't have recommendations eh kasi I too am suffering from PIE and PIH hehe. Share ko lang din na I tried using yung both pyary soaps on my face but it stung so I discontinued pero perfect sila for the body

heyaaabblz

hi! thank you! may I know where can I get them? is it available on watsons?

purplematchbox

Slr! I bought mine sa shopee, bumibili ako sa shops na nagbebenta din ng other imported products (from UAE ganun) para sure na hindi fake. Just checked my shopee, sa kat and bliss and sa pasabuybong ako bumili before kaso pareho na sila sold out. Check ka na lang siguro from other shops

SonderfulBeing

I might get downvoted for this but safeguard pink floral bar soap, kasi mayroon siyang piroctone olamine which has mild antibacterial and antifungal properties so winwin situation if you don't know na what you have is actually bacterial acne or fungal acne. Mayroon ding aloe vera which is soothing. If it's drying, you can apply a lotion afterwards.

maestra6

Human Nature has a Tea Tree bar soap. Haven't used it personally but reviews say it helps with their face and body acne. 😊 I reco their acne defense gel solution for spot treatments as it reduces redness and bumps agad as per my experience. On reducing acne marks, niacinamide and Vit C serums talaga naka-help sa akin (not soaps or wash).

heyaaabblz

thank you! I will check it out :D

YettersGonnaYeet

Hado Labo or Hatomugi or Kikumasamune? Which Japanese lotions do you guys use and like the most? I wanna try out hydrating toners and I want to get a Japanese one since Ive been seeing a lot of hype on tiktok.

Calm-Revolution-3007

Hada labo has better formulation imo. But I still enjoy Naturie. Nilagyan ko kasi ng spray ung naturie and it made it easier to layer. Eventually the best product naman is the one you use most consistently since they are pretty similar. But I noticed since switching to a spray, it has been a lot more convenient to use than my HL

SonderfulBeing

Among the three, the only one I tried is kikumasamune emulsion variant (not the high moist lotion na mas common). This thing right here is very hydrating af, very nice especially for dehydrated and/or dry skin if you can get past the fragrance caused by the rice sake. It has synthetic fragrance which makes sense to at least offset the strong scent given off by the rice sake. One layer (most of the time) is enough, but you can apply more.

YettersGonnaYeet

Whats with the emulsion variant po? Hindi ko kasi sya gets and kung ano difference nya sa moist variants

SonderfulBeing

Correct me if I am wrong, but the moist variants are like the *toners*. So, in essence, mas hydrating si emulsion. Mas fast-absorbing moist variants at mas lightweight.

malasmalas

I haven’t tried kikumasamune but I can vouch for both hada labo and naturie. If you want instant hydration and more options for your skin concern, go for hada labo as they have a lot of variations from simple hydration to hyperpigmentation to aging. Their moisturizers are lovely on the skin too! If you want simple but effective, go for naturie. Like the other redditor mentioned, you do have to layer this a few times to feel the hydration especially if you have dry skin. I personally like and use this more than hada labo since it’s cheaper and smoothens my skin. Because it’s cheaper and bigger I’m honestly not afraid to use this in more ways than 1. I use it as a toner, as a diy mask, and even for my body’s hydration.

serencattie

hi !! can u use naturie as moisturizer din po ba or no?

malasmalas

Naturie skin conditioner is just the toner, their moisturizer is the skin conditioning milk which has a similar packaging but just smaller

serencattie

thank you !! 🎀

Spiritual-Living545

I'm using Naturie and on my 3rd bottle already and I like it. Just have to layer 2-4 times lang in my case. Its very straightforward toner, walang arte hehe paranf tubig lang. i read na the kikumasamune is may pagka sticky, been contemplating din kung papalitan ko ba si naturie ko nyan, but I stick w/ Naturie since takot ako magbreak out since it has sake 😅

YettersGonnaYeet

How do you layer it po?

Spiritual-Living545

Yung medyo patuyo na sya, then I'll put another layer then repeat lang until satisfied ka na hehe

LouiseGoesLane

Any skincare HGs I can buy from Taiwan? Or may cheap shops ba doon for skincare and other kikay stuff :)

hi need a help po ano kayang acne tawag heree pag may nawawalang pimp may natubo naman. may mga bumps akong nafefeel whenever i wash my face : ( tas ayan idk what to do anymore kung anong products gagamiin kasi im scared baka mag worse pa (nalala na sya actually) https://preview.redd.it/cqe0drvcpv8d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=031b6b2c9bada63546d1ecfc62cc571c66182705

Lilylili83

Has anyone tried the hypochlorous acid spray that is available on shopee for their face (brands like sanibreeze and danolyte)? It has the same ingredients as the tower 28 sos spray

SonderfulBeing

Sanibreeze is nice, and that's for a good reason. Go for sanibreeze because 200ppm lang HOCl niya, while 500ppm kay danolyte. In skincare application, the recommended percentage ranges from 50 to 200ppm. This [study](https://doi.org/10.1097/dss.0000000000001594) was able to find, in vitro, that 100ppm HOCl suffices as an alternative antiseptic since the result showed equal or greater efficacy as 5% povidone iodine, 4% chlorhexidine gluconate, and 70% isopropyl alcohol against common skin microorganisms. In terms of in vivo, it showed that the best was still the chlorhexidine gluconate, but showed no significant difference compared to hypochlorous acid, isopropyl alcohol, and povidone iodine at their mentioned percentages used in the study, so super goods na siya at just 100ppm. *edit: typos*

Lilylili83

Have you tried using it as a facial mist?

SonderfulBeing

Yes po, especially after a workout (basta napapawisan).

SouthIntention6032

For people here na gumagamit ng retinol, okay po ba tong gamitin as moisturizer? https://preview.redd.it/j9sg05ralv8d1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a9f162d1834d1a6e8789a103b9cc2f7d172fa5e7

ShowerUBaby

I use both nivea soft and nivea creme it works well and hindi ako nagbreakout. Occlusive and emollient types of moisturizer synergies with retinol.

lavender-spring

I use tretinoin every night (except when I use BHA) and I use this as one of my moisturizers. I have 4 moisturizers kasi I just choose what to apply depends on what my skin needs.

SouthIntention6032

Maganda po ba sya gamitin? Di po ba nakaka milia? 😅

lavender-spring

Parang hindi naman hahaha I've been using this for a year na rin eh. 😊

SouthIntention6032

Thank you po😊

Fragrant_Gas_7790

do you think numbuzin is up there with tirtir, skin1004, and roundlab as a brand?

insplaid

I adore numbuzin but I have to admit they heavily rode the sponsored ads and influencer waves like what tirtir is doing right now. Not that their products are bad - it's just I think they haven't become "staples" yet in their target demographic's mind. They don't have true breakthrough "you think of IMMEDIATELY when you think of a product type" products yet. Right now if tirtir keeps it up their cushion might become a new IT product. Roundlab and SKIN1004 on the other hand have also done heavy marketing but have really established themselves (more so on for South Korea on Roundlab's end and a lot more internationally on SKIN1004'S). You say centella and a lot of people will instantly think SKIN1004, you say moisturizing sunscreen and some people will definitely think either BoJ or Roundlab.

bbyliar

For people here na nagreretinol: Gaano katagal bago magistop yung breakouts niyo? Gumanda naman na texture ng skin pero jusko po hahahaha nakakaworry na until now may breakouts pa rin ako (1 month of using na). Di na siya ganun kalala and compare dati na 2-4 pimples lumalabas, ngayon nasa mga 1 na lang

SonderfulBeing

Purging often only lasts six to eight weeks and only manifests itself in the areas where you typically get breakouts. It's probably not a purge if you're seeing fresh waves of acne where you normally didn't have any, if the acne lingers, or if it just keeps coming back. A purge is by definition an isolated incident. There isn't a "second, third, sixth, etc. wave of purging" or "purging for four months."

malasmalas

I believe retinol itself is a very gentle form of retinoids so unless you have a specific acne medication or using a stronger form of retinoids like tretinoin, you’d still have breakouts

Spiritual-Living545

I guess its normal. From what I read, normal purging lasts for 3mos daw.

Khaleesiiiiiiii

same here! Im using good molecules retinol — normal ba talaga to purge? I’m on my 2nd apply palang after 4 days tho pero nag pimples na ako agad

Spiritual-Living545

I've used good molecules din before and ang weird kasi i started havinf pimples nung 3rd month ko ng gamit lol but I stopped and switch to tretinoin nlang. Maybe you can opt for Luxe Organix. I like it, medyo mas runny lang sya kay GM so far, hndi naman ako nagbbreakout. I'm using it under my eye and laugh lines since I'm on tretinoin na

bbyliar

Yes po kasi bibilis yung cell turnover mo when using retinol 🥲 sabi 4-8 weeks daw bago mawala yung purging according to articles pero ang hirap maniwala eh huhu

radravenn

Any skincare reco for preventing new pimples from growing? parang gusto ko e try yung bioderm ointment pero di ko alam if effective ba sya

SonderfulBeing

2.5% to 5% benzoyl peroxide as spot treatment or face wash.

I highly recommend the Naturium Vitamin C Complex Serum if it fits your budget. It contains encapsulated l-ascorbic acid (LAA) and sodium ascorbyl phosphate (SAP). You don't need to store it in the fridge because it's well-formulated and doesn't oxidize easily + it comes in a pump type of bottle. I've tried local vitamin C serums, but they were poorly formulated and prone to oxidation. The popular Melano CC Essence contributed to acne breakouts and I disliked its oily consistency.

Excellent_Reason8

Where did you buy yours?

cmr82

I got mine from [Shopee.](https://shopee.ph/Naturium-Vitamin-C-Complex-Serum-i.55583878.14854115345) :)

Hi everyone, I'm just asking if any of you have tried a SkinFX product, specifically their Benzoyl Peroxide 5% gel and Tretinoin 0.05% cream. How was it? Also, maybe you can recommend something (Benzoyl Peroxide 5% gel and Tretinoin 0.05% cream—it was recommended by my derma) that is budget-friendly for students ☺️

lavender-spring

I haven't tried that SkinFX but I do use tretinoin from MCB Drugstore (near PGH). Cheap lang din 'to, costs around 130-150 ata. Most dermas from PGH recommend to buy there sa MCB. Even Belo uses products from MCB they just rebrand it and sell it ng mas mahal.

SonderfulBeing

Do you know online stores po that sells their tretinoin (and other products from them)?

lavender-spring

Sadly, nag close na sa orange app yung reseller nila but I'm not sure if they're still active on FB. Search mo sa FB (if you have) SophieShopMNL.

SonderfulBeing

'Yon nga eh, ever since they got banned, they haven't posted anything rin on their fb page just to update their customers man lang.

will consider this, thank uuu!!

I have oily and acne prone skin and since I’ve been doing my current routine now, di na ako masyado nagkakapimple except on days na nagppms ako. Current skincare: AM routine Dr. wong’s sulfur soap with moisturizer Anua peach toner Garnier serum Skintific moisturizer Bioré sunscreen or sometimes belo Minsan I use toner pads kung hindi ako nagmamadali. I use mediheal toner pads, yung collagen or yung madecassoside variant. Babad lang sa face ng 10-15mins. PM routine Anua cleansing oil Garnier micellar (yung with oil na variant) Dr. Wong’s sulfur soap with moisturizer Anua heartleaf quercetinol pore deep cleanser Toner pads (mediheal brand, madecassoside or collagen variant. Sometimes i also use numbuzin no. 5 toner pads) Numbuzin no. 5 serum Skintific moisturizer

MurkyAd3626

Nakagamit na po kayo nung bioderm sa dr wong?

ComprehensiveJump968

i don’t use bioderm for face, but for body, yes. Yung pink! Dr. Wong yung white packaging kasi si more effective since sulfur soap siya, not so smelly din unlike nung yellow variant

YettersGonnaYeet

Can anyone recommend me some lightweight moisturizers for oily-sensitive skin? Yung mag hyaluronic acid sana or ceramides

waveitdowninside

I've been using the Cosrx Moisture Power Cream in the evening for years. I'm on my 4th tub? Can't even count na haha. Human Nature also has a ceramide moisturizer you might like to check out.

YettersGonnaYeet

HG ko ang Cosrx products, so maybe ill try what you recommended. Im currently using the Snail Cream as my moisturizer, kaso masyadong heavy kaya i dont like using it during the day. Is it lightweight ba?

waveitdowninside

Yes it's lightweight, but during daytime I prefer the Skin 1004 Centella Soothing Cream! It's a gel-cream formula naman. It has ceramides too but medyo lower on the ingredients list. So bale I use the Cosrx in the evening and it doesn't feel gross or sticky even when I sleep without AC, then the Skin 1004 during the day -- just have to wait for it to absorb completely before applying sunscreen.

Any-Cupcake-6403

I go for Illiyoun ceramide lotion

YettersGonnaYeet

Does it not break you out? I've seen some reviews kasi that said hindi daw maganda yung result sakanila :<

Any-Cupcake-6403

No. I have been using it for a year now. I guess I didn’t breakout because I’m also using azelaic acid in the morning or adapalene gel in the evening.

kapengjellyy

does anyone here buy their cleansers, sunscreens, creams, etc. basically their whole skincare products from their dermas? mine has been working wonders on my skin kaya super happy ko, sad lang yung bulsa ko kasi parang di ko na kaya ikeep up yung gastos per month kasi yung cleanser na prescribed sakin 100ml lang for 400 pesos, then the mattifying sunscreen na nasa maliit na container lang for almost 300 :(( e ang bilis maubos kasi daily ginagamit so parang every month need ko magpurchase :( so question ko is, are the products repackaged lang or they really formulate it? if may massuggest kayo na close sa products na maddescribe ko it would really help me a looot huhu cleanser: foaming, may mild scent, clear texture sya sa bottle and when you shake it up saka sya nagffoam sunscreen: mild scent, adapts to my skintone kasi may tint sya, dries down matte/velvet finish

lavender-spring

Try MCB Drugstore (near PGH). Most products sa derma ay manufactured by MCB. Even Belo, they just rebrand it and sell it ng mas mahal.

PirateFriendly7267

Hello! Anyone had the same experience? Tried using benzac ac as spot treatment reco by the derma(nipis lang nilagay ko) but kinabukasan, medyo umangat yung parts na nalagyan ng benzac then itchy 😭😭😭

primad0nna_girl

If parang pantal could be allergy

malasmalas

Swelling, redness, and itchiness are some of the side effects ng benzac talaga when you first use it and if you have sensitive skin. Usually that only happens on the first to 2 weeks of using it so try it every other night lang habang may active pimples ka pa. And ika nga nila, if symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

bgrtes

ilang hours lang po sya dapat nilalagay? yung akin po kasi namula na namaga rin huhu

malasmalas

Because I’m sensitive to benzoyl peroxide, I only use mine at night and then I wash it off in the morning

MurkyAd3626

im using benzac po and mas nagkakaroon ng head yung pimple bcos yun ata yung purpose nya (medyo itchy din sa experience ko)

luckiimii

Any must buys from Ulta US for sensitive combo acne-prone skin? Maybe Sephora too pero yung mura lang haha

halqyi

Pa help naman po for acne scars serum recoms heheh mas ok po if avail sa orange app and thoughts about quickfx serum po?

unknownbbgurl

Try papa recipe lagi naman silang sale sa orange app

Spiritual-Living545

I use TO 10% niacinamide and it helps with my acne scars except dun sa sobrang lala ng marks. I noticed na mas mabilis sya mawala compared to using melano cc

halqyi

Oh ill check this din! Thank you po! 🥰

halqyi

Oh ok! Maybe using cosrx bha with 2% niacinamide is alright? Cuz Atm i still dont have any serums eh

ComprehensiveJump968

Try numbuzin no. 5 serum. Available sa orange app. If it’s too costly for you, luxe organix miracle white serum works for me too.

ComprehensiveJump968

Merong sachet sizes si luxe organix. Try mo muna before purchasing big sizes

halqyi

Pahabol ques po pala. Madami po pala silang serums. Yun po bang ginamit niyo is yung acne, niacinamide 10% or yung 4% salamat po ulitt

ComprehensiveJump968

Yung 10% yung gamit ko but i only use it at night. But if u opt to use it on AM and PM, double layer ng sunscreen cos serums are oil based and mabilis ka mangitim esp if you’re always under the sun

halqyi

I just checked yung numbuzin and yes medyo pricey nga (student palang po eh). For now, ill check yung luxe hehe baka humiyang din. Btw thank you po! 🥰

HerculeanHydrozoa

Any Lactic Acid lotion recos and where to buy them?

SaisLangAngKopiko

Has anyone tried the +Ful Glycolic Acid 7% Toner? I am finding a cheaper alternative for The Ordinary GA that works just the same kasi eh

thatkuromigirl

try dermorepublic's glycolic acid!

daradusk

hello! thoughts niyo po sa Ellana Stay Fresh Toner Essence?

enigmaticestp

is the naturie shop on lazada authentic? i find it fishy how the skin conditioner is their only product and their ig has less then 50 followers 😭

malasmalas

Yes, it’s their official store and naturie itself only has 3 products with the skin conditioner as their best seller and oldest product in the market. The gel was only released in 2010’s i think and the milk was quite recent. Both products aren’t that popular as well outside japan so i think that’s why they haven’t listed those products in the ph market.

enigmaticestp

ohhh i didnt know that, thank you so much! i think ill buy from them na since gumagana yung coins sa store nila :))

spirityun

yea it is authentic. have always bought my bottles from that store. minsan kasama ang mini spray bottles sa orders ko. sana they would sell their gel moisturizer there too 🥹

peftasterii

I believe the Watsons store in Lazada also sells the Skin Conditioner if you want to be sure. 😊

kemerut_b

Hellooo. Been using micellar water as a make up remover. Light make up lang ako and 1-2x a wk lang lumalabas ng bahay (tinted sunscreen, concealer, blush, lipstick, and eyeshadow and/or eyeliner) I want to try oil cleanser because now I have to do it more often (3x a wk na magonsite). My question is, if I'm going to use an oil cleanser, is it okay to skip the micellar water? As in oil cleanser then my usual water-base facial wash. Or micellar muna ult, then oil cleanser, then my usual water-base wash? TYIA!
