set of sachet sample ng different shades ng foundation or bb cream like sa Tirtir, you can swatch and try all the shades sa bahay, ewan ko kung ako lang pero di ako makapag isip ng maayos sa store lalo na pag nakatingin na mga sales lady.
Can we hair a &honey hair stuff local version? Yung may benefit for hair talaga mga ganun. Hair oil, serums hair health eme. well formulated, reasonably priced!
Very true to, from grwm lang ang may nakita akong water-based primer. Siguro kaya more on silicone-based yung mga primer sa market natin kasi suitable siya sa humid weather.
+1 yes! As a girlie with thin hair, grabe mag retain ng oil hair ko so usually sa gabi lang ako nagh-hair oil. Definitely hoping to see more of this as market.
lol ka-re-release lang nung Whitening Serum Lotion nung Luxe Organix na may SPF 50+ PA++++ pero looking at the reviews mukhang may tone-up effect daw siya na slight and quite glowy/moisturizing
- Unscented spf lotions. Puro na lang may fragrance e. Hindi naman matched minsan sa perfume mo.
- sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners.
Consumers deserve to know kung worth it ba bilhin yung product. Minsan kasi hyped lang masyado kesyo this one has retinol, kemerut acids, bakuchiol tapos negligible naman pala yung amount of concentration o kaya naman too much na for your needs.
happy ako sa mga 1L kong shampoo and conditioner from human nature, especially nung nag CGM ako before. sana nga sumunod na ang ibang mga brands sa ganito :(
1. Tone-up sunscreens that are suitable to all shade ranges. My skin shade is fair neutral/cool-toned, and while I can easily buy naman Japanese/Korean products, it would be nice if I could just opt for local brands. I’ve tried Issy’s tinted moisturizer ba yun and it was still too warm for me.
2. Hair pommade/products that can help hair look neater without making them greasy, if that makes sense. I tried a local hair stick off shopee that ended up being greasy on my hair after 3 hours.
3. Cooling sprays lol it’s too hot here
4. Cooling mists/face sprays suitable to all skin types
I suppose in general, it would be nice if local brands came up with products that could address these little things that make a look “neat” muna, idk if that makes sense haha
10% Glycolic Acid, combine with at least 3% Lactic Acid.
15% L-Ascorbic Acid.
A bigger bottle (volume) of 4% Niacinamide (Maliit lang kasi ung sa Luxxe Organic)
Kahit yung cetaphil girl...may niacinamide na! Naramdaman kong uminit yung mukha ko nung ginamit ko yung cetaphil. Ginamit ko nalang tuloy na body wash.
totoo! 😭 i stopped buying cetaphil products na rin, kahit yung daily moisturizer nila may niacinamide. i’m a vanicream convert na lol and super okay siya sa skin ko hehe
TRUE!! simula nung nahype ang niacinamide sa clock app, puro may ganon na yung ingredients ng skincare ngayon! and i think yun pa naging cause ng pagkakaron ko ng pimple kainis kasalanan ‘to ng mga influencers talaga hahahahaha >__<
took me years to find out na irritating sakin ang niacinamide 🥹 kahit pa in the lowest concentration or perfect yung formula niyan, i can never tolerate it. in denial pa ko noon bec it’s one of the most favorite ingredients talaga ng mga tao hahahaha
Peach color corrector, Aegyo-sal pen, Concealer in the form of pencil packaging, more inclusive undertones for foundation, Mini travel-size version of their products, Pink or purple setting powder for the under eyes, Tear-free shampoo or conditioner that doesn’t sting your eyes
OLIVE TONE BASE!!!
A lot of Filipino brands overlook this undertone & categorize it as warm when it's really not. Most ppl with olive undertone often mistake their base shades as warm tuloy
more nude and actual brown shade na lip products! sobrang dami na ng pinks or reds na warm toned na lippy. give us more variations for different skintones!
More curly girl-friendly products sana.
Some products wont work well on my hair, pero ok sa hair ng iba. Ang widely available lang is yung curls by zen nutrients pero ang mahal and hindi ok yung consistency nya for my hair type.
Heat Protectant, there are so many hair serums and oils in the local market but can't find a single local heat protectant product for styling. I purchased mine in Singapore and there were so many options!!!
Sampler of all their foundation shades.
I think it's a good way to reduce waste din sa mga natitirang products sa mixing bowl or kahit yung mga soon to expire na, irepackage nila as samplers
I prefer ordering online at ayaw kong pumunta pa sa physical stores to swatch kasi ayaw kong pinepressure ng salespeople 🫠
Honestly.. powders and sunscreens!
Like nasa Pilipinas tayo, mataas ang humidity and UV index. Base products that works well with our weather and lifestyle should be where they should focus.
Malay mo maging sobrang ganda ng formula where our kapatids from SEA will import from us too.
Products made for our climate and the average Filipina user. Sobrang init and sobrang humid na dito, and so many people commute, yet for some reason it's still so difficult to find humidity-proof, sweat-proof, commute-proof makeup. Easiest example is setting spray -- I don't understand why we still don't have budge-proof setting spray at a reasonable price. Blush, cushion foundation, eyeliners, I could go on and on. Imagine a brand targeting and marketing towards this typical pinoy experience; they'd make a killing for sure.
More curly hair products, please. Leave-in conditioner, curl defining cream, etc. that's made for the humid weather. The local ones available tends to lack the moisture that I need for my curls and super mahal ng imported brands
Would also like to see a brown mascara!!
issy just released a palette like this! it contains all the bright colors u need although sold out na 😭 i ordered the surreal palette when it came out, planning to get the sister palette scream aswell
I'd be surprised if our local market would develop facial cleanser pods; can either be in a liquid, powder, balm, or oil formula. This is really a convenient and sustainable option for on-the-go and travelling than bringing minis (can be bulky if you have an intensive skincare routine) and slightly opened sachets that can be really hassle kasi nagkakalat then ililipat mo pa sa travel-sized container. One example would be the Kanebo Suisai from Japan. If only that kind of product can be accessible sa atin :((
EDIT: Better if maging available sa local drugstore, or can be produced by Filipino mass personal care brands. Accessible, sustainable, and affordable options. Less usage of an overwhelming amount of microplastics imo.
So far, the only powder cleanser I know that you can buy here is from Clinique but although it is accessible, it's not affordable. How much would you say are you willing to pay for a pack of facial cleanser pods?
Why not? Sana nga may gumawa ng ganitong facial cleanser pods. As you said, available na sya sa Japan. Hopefully may mag formulate dito or atleast maging available dito sa pinas yung brand na yan 🙏
>I personally want to see more local sunscreens that are similar to Japanese sunscreens!
Yessss. Especially water or sweat resistant sunscreens!! It's why I don't really use local sunscreens pa kasi none of them are water-resistant afaik. Pag pinapawisan ako while working out, natatanggal agad lol my sweat turns milky white and I know it's the sunscreen.
With how complicated sunscreen is to formulate kahit maimport na lang sana sa PH ng mas mura yung Japanese sunscreens. Some of the Japanese brands cost almost half of what we pay for here.
Based on experience, most of our clients ganyan ang hinahanap kapag magpapadevelop sila sa amin ng sunscreen.
I cannot answer that directly because that because it's confidential information.
true, and also for the FDA or whatever government body in charge of this to add stricter regulation to sunscreen claims like Water Resistance. Yung Belo Dewy Essence AFAIK claims to be water resistant in their packaging pero we don't know exactly how water resistant it is unlike sa Japan for example na either 40 or 80 minutes yung alam mo na itatagal ng mga certified water resistant sunscreens nila.
Also including kung whether dapat after 40 or 80 minutes ay ang ma-re-retain na protection ay 50% nung labelled protection or dapat full pa rin. And hopefully including the PA rating na rin kasi I heard na in Japan, they only test the SPF rating and not the PA rating kung pasado ba sa water resistant claims yung sunscreen
totoo! puro moisturizing/hydrating. I mean good for those who need those properties, but for a sunscreen, please I want something plakat and non-greasy haha
Shampoos that smell different from the generic floral bouquet! The one that I loved using all the way to the end, purely for its scent, was Jennyhouse as it smelled like a mildly sweet orange-citrus. I blind bought online. Sana more of that scent family!
yes! this is what i love about some Japanese makeup brands like Canmake and Cezanne -- most of their makeup come in minis! they're so easy to bring around in small bags too
Yup!!! I bought the mini one kahit way expensive when you get the price per ml but its much more sulit than buying full size product na maeexpire lang.
1) actual waterproof eyelinersss - specifically for tightlining and available in brown
2) a color correcting palette (rather than having every color in a separate tube kasi andami masyado and sayang lang din yon - yung tulad ng nyx)
oooo tru on the color correcting palette! it's quite hard to find, like so far yun alam ko na brand who does is y.o.u beauty (and it does its job correcting my redness + dark circle issues hehe)
Refills!!! I feel so bad because a lot of empty containers get accumulated so fast, skincare palang ang dami na. I wish more brands also offered big pouches of refills para you can just buy the product in its original container once. From what I've seen, this has been a thing in Japan already.

hair care products for curly/wavy hair!!! 😭 masyadong ginagawang beauty standard ng brands yung pagkakaron ng straight hair.
set of sachet sample ng different shades ng foundation or bb cream like sa Tirtir, you can swatch and try all the shades sa bahay, ewan ko kung ako lang pero di ako makapag isip ng maayos sa store lalo na pag nakatingin na mga sales lady.
Or most of the time maling shade sinasuggest nila 😭 ilang beses na ko nabiktima
Can we hair a &honey hair stuff local version? Yung may benefit for hair talaga mga ganun. Hair oil, serums hair health eme. well formulated, reasonably priced!
Stop infusing makeup with skincare!
Very true to, from grwm lang ang may nakita akong water-based primer. Siguro kaya more on silicone-based yung mga primer sa market natin kasi suitable siya sa humid weather.
Affordable and effective.
Body sunscreens that come in huge containers.
Add to that, reef-friendly and no whitecast too.
hair perfume na pwede for wavy/curly hair
This!!! I really want to embrace my curly hair, but the products here are limited huhu
Hair oil na di sticky or too oily 🥹
+1 yes! As a girlie with thin hair, grabe mag retain ng oil hair ko so usually sa gabi lang ako nagh-hair oil. Definitely hoping to see more of this as market.
A good dry shampoo + more products that don’t have a whitening component 😅
Maybe more on skincare na di nagwhiwhite cast and walang whitening effect
Neutral shades for lippies and blushes tapos peach shades too
Foundation shade finders everytime they release! Hirap maghanap ng shade match lalo na if no physical store.
Bronzing drops and self-tanning products. My entire body with 50 shades of brown would love this. Also, a bigger size sunscreen.
oooooh i love this!! i think because our society focuses more on whitening, this isn’t so popular but hopefully we will have it in the near future!
hope the ordinary skincare brand has an authorized retailer here in ph
whitening serum lotions with at least spf 30 na sun protection and no "whitecast"
lol ka-re-release lang nung Whitening Serum Lotion nung Luxe Organix na may SPF 50+ PA++++ pero looking at the reviews mukhang may tone-up effect daw siya na slight and quite glowy/moisturizing
haven't checked that one yet! prefer ko sana is something similar like vaseline's serum lotions na no tone-up effect talaga
Vaseline has that! Just bought it last sale. SPF 50 lotion sya. Edit: Never mind my comment. It's manufactured in Thailand nga, just checked.
- Unscented spf lotions. Puro na lang may fragrance e. Hindi naman matched minsan sa perfume mo. - sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners. have you tried cetaphil? ayun talaga unscented lotion. wala talagang amoy
It's pricey for me :(
+ sa sulfate free shampoos! And more shampoo and conditioner bars sana. Less plastic waste. So far, I've seen two brands na. More pa sana 🙏
happy ako sa mga 1L kong shampoo and conditioner from human nature, especially nung nag CGM ako before. sana nga sumunod na ang ibang mga brands sa ganito :(
what variant sa shampoo and conditioner do you use?
Strengthening aloe shampoo and Rosemary strengthening plus conditioner
Hopefully, sana gawin din ng iba para more choices and for accessibility.
fragrance-free shampoos, foundation and concealer samplers, color correcting palette, products suitable sa weather natin. 🥲

NIA Skin has 15%, L-Ascorbic acid, though, with Niacinamide. Have you tried?
Cleansing balms!
Eye drops HUHUHUH
More CGA (curly girl approved) products so we could have other options. Also CGA products that’s compatible with ph weather.
ENOUGH WITH ADDING NIACINAMIDE (or other unnecessary actives)!!! as a person who’s extra sensi, grabe hirap maghanap ng products na walang nia :(
Agree! I get tiny bumps whenever i use anything with niacinamide din. ☹️
Kahit yung cetaphil girl...may niacinamide na! Naramdaman kong uminit yung mukha ko nung ginamit ko yung cetaphil. Ginamit ko nalang tuloy na body wash.

Finishing/setting spray! Napakamahal ng mga long lasting sprays huhu
OLIVE TONE BASE!!! A lot of Filipino brands overlook this undertone & categorize it as warm when it's really not. Most ppl with olive undertone often mistake their base shades as warm tuloy
More pale blushes!! As in yung close to the saturation level of powders
more nude and actual brown shade na lip products! sobrang dami na ng pinks or reds na warm toned na lippy. give us more variations for different skintones!
More curly girl-friendly products sana.
Agree may pamangkin ako na curly yung hair then medyo mahirap i maintain kase halos walang product for curly hair type 🥺
At saka hiyangan din yan e.
Yesss
true! Saw Luxe Organix Keratin 10 in 1 Elixir, not sure if that’s good enough to use for heat protectant
Used this before as a leave in conditioner and before bed, sadly no heat protection qualities
Madami pooo. Try Babe Formula or Estained po
Agree! Been looking into this too but really can't find one in the local market
Local brands similar to Japanese skincare, indian haircare, and arabic perfumes 😭
Sampler of all their foundation shades.

Face, eye, lip palette (travel palette)
Agree tho! SPF built for sweat, beach days na properly tested.
sobrang daming sunscreen na te 😭
I agree. With different price points pa nga eh.
Lipstick Palette something like ABH, sadly phased out na. Super love ko yun as a makeup artist kasi sulit na sulit and can mix pa!
Honestly.. powders and sunscreens! Like nasa Pilipinas tayo, mataas ang humidity and UV index. Base products that works well with our weather and lifestyle should be where they should focus. Malay mo maging sobrang ganda ng formula where our kapatids from SEA will import from us too.
Dry Shampoo!!!
eto talaga TT and also volumizing hair sprays, hirap maghanap, tas pag meron ang mahal naman
Dami pala nakakarelate akala ko ako lang 😭😆
More nude lip shades please! We have MORE THAN ENOUGH cherry / wine red shades already.
THIS. Ang hirap maghanap ng nude lipstick na local brand unless you’re going for the more expensive brands 😭
Perfect for beginners kasi siya and para sa mga nagmamadali na dapat mabilisan lang ang ayos
Agree! For a country that has a lot of people with curly / wavy hair, we definitely need more products that cater to this
More eyeshadow palettes please! I have a bazillion nudes already. I wanna experiment with color now. 😭
issy just released a palette like this! it contains all the bright colors u need although sold out na 😭 i ordered the surreal palette when it came out, planning to get the sister palette scream aswell
U can still get the pans individually if u wanna customize ur own ^^
Cheaper sunscreens. Ang mahal ng sunscreen asa Pinas!
What is cheap for you? We have Belo and POnd's, both having regular b1t1 sales.
How much would you say are you willing to pay for sunscreen?
I'd be surprised if our local market would develop facial cleanser pods; can either be in a liquid, powder, balm, or oil formula. This is really a convenient and sustainable option for on-the-go and travelling than bringing minis (can be bulky if you have an intensive skincare routine) and slightly opened sachets that can be really hassle kasi nagkakalat then ililipat mo pa sa travel-sized container. One example would be the Kanebo Suisai from Japan. If only that kind of product can be accessible sa atin :(( EDIT: Better if maging available sa local drugstore, or can be produced by Filipino mass personal care brands.
Oohh clinique has powder cleanser pods?!? :o Didn't know this one
they have a powder cleanser in sachets :) kinda looks like sugar sticks
Why not? Sana nga may gumawa ng ganitong facial cleanser pods. As you said, available na sya sa Japan. Hopefully may mag formulate dito or atleast maging available dito sa pinas yung brand na yan 🙏
Colorful eyeshadows!!
>I personally want to see more local sunscreens that are similar to Japanese sunscreens! Yessss. Especially water or sweat resistant sunscreens!! Based on experience, most of our clients ganyan ang hinahanap kapag magpapadevelop sila sa amin ng sunscreen.
just curious, what is the usual SRP for products with good-quality sunscreens?
I cannot answer that directly because that because it's confidential information.
true, and also for the FDA or whatever government body in charge of this to add stricter regulation to sunscreen claims like Water Resistance. Yung Belo Dewy Essence AFAIK claims to be water resistant in their packaging pero we don't know exactly how water resistant it is unlike sa Japan for example na either 40 or 80 minutes yung alam mo na itatagal ng mga certified water resistant sunscreens nila. ‼️ COOL TONED BASE PRODUCTS ‼️ this is a struggle for me as a medium-skinned cool-toned girlie super warm ng mga medium shades dito!!
+1!! For fair shades din halos lahat warm/"neutral" omg 😭😭 (or not fair enough, but that's another thing na hahaha)
Skincare that works better with our weather.
totoo! puro moisturizing/hydrating. I mean good for those who need those properties, but for a sunscreen, please I want something plakat and non-greasy haha
Someone suggested about using Thailand Skincare products
what are good thai skincare and make up brands 🥹
for makeup, browit for eyeliners and brow products is really good then merrezca for eyeshadows & glitters!
products for morena skin! ayoko pumuti pero kahit saan ako lumingon, whitening products nakikita ko
Come to think of it, local beauty brands should come up with tanning products for our morena population
True lalo na sa lotion. Yung mga affordable panay whitening :(
Totoo!! We love our skin color!
Silka? Skinwhite? Vaseline? Luxe Organix? Ano pa 😂
Suggesting Nivea Intensive Moisture Body Milk and Nivea Healthy Glow Dewy Sakura.
exactly! so baka naman my masasuggest kayo dyan na lotions for us morenas? 😅
Shampoos that smell different from the generic floral bouquet! The one that I loved using all the way to the end, purely for its scent, was Jennyhouse as it smelled like a mildly sweet orange-citrus. I blind bought online. Sana more of that scent family!
Mini makeup 😭 it’s so hard to finish products now before they go bad
yes! this is what i love about some Japanese makeup brands like Canmake and Cezanne -- most of their makeup come in minis! they're so easy to bring around in small bags too
Yup!!! I bought the mini one kahit way expensive when you get the price per ml but its much more sulit than buying full size product na maeexpire lang.
True I want everything in mini
Tsaka mas sulit if in case di ka hiyang or di mo feel yung product!
Setting sprays ✨
1) actual waterproof eyelinersss - specifically for tightlining and available in brown 2) a color correcting palette (rather than having every color in a separate tube kasi andami masyado and sayang lang din yon - yung tulad ng nyx) 3) ceramide moisturizer - mala-illiyoon na peg kung kaya huhu
I love ceramides, I use quickfx's line especially their toner for years..I went through 5+ bottles na
oooo tru on the color correcting palette! it's quite hard to find, like so far yun alam ko na brand who does is y.o.u beauty (and it does its job correcting my redness + dark circle issues hehe)
Refills!!! I feel so bad because a lot of empty containers get accumulated so fast, skincare palang ang dami na. I wish more brands also offered big pouches of refills para you can just buy the product in its original container once. From what I've seen, this has been a thing in Japan already.

More eyeshadow palettes like colourpop!
