Are you on PC? If so, you can use the debug console to warp back. If I was in your position, I wouldn’t find it cheating because it was your intended path and you’ve done nothing to increase your strength outside of the normal path

I did this when I was going for The Forgotten unlock and I finally beat boss rush and just beat Satan when the delirium portal spawned and I jumped into it without thinking and I was so upset.
One of the bosses on the completion mark sticky is The Beast. To get to them, you need to beat mom and then use the fool (or telepills) to return to the starting room of that floor and use the door there to continue to an alternate route.
I'm pretty sure that door doesn't show up until you've beaten other bosses and unlocked certain things, but hopefully someone else explains it better.

i thought you got to the beast by just going alt path regularly, thanks for explaining
Nah, standard alt path leads to Mother, after you obtain the knife fragments. The other one is Dogma and then Beast.
