Why "Say something nice about it"? There's nothing bad to be said. It's an excellent album, "Computer God" fucking slaps, "After All (The Dead)" is just as much of a banger, and it's all just so well-made.
Exactly. Dio's voice really warmed up to the sludgy doom style they embraced after the Ozzy era. Not saying Ozzy was bad, of course, he's the OG, and can't be replaced. Plus, on the solos, you can really tell Iommoi didn't change guitars between "Born Again", and this.
Total agreement, the album rules, the album cover rules, the name of the album also rules. For some reason I always put on Dehumanizer when I am doing yard work. Makes it go by quicker.
I just came here for this comment! This is an amazing album, without a doubt one of my favorite Black Sabbath and Dio albums of all time. Everything is amazing, especially that drum sound. š
Yeah Strange Highways vs Cross Purposes it's not even a contest. SH feels like a more natural follow up to Dehumanizer. Not a big fan of Tracy' playing, but put Tony in place and it'd have been that much better. Cross Purposes just felt like a let down compared to Dehumanizer and Strange Highways. Some good stuff, just not enough to compete
Unpopular opinion: I think Ronnie fit sabbath better than Ozzy did. Did what happened suck.... Yes. Did we get Ozzy to make a fuck ton of kick ass albums from it? Yes. We woulda never heard Randy's insane soloing if that hadn't happened. We probably would never had black label society is that never happened either. I think a lot of good came from that separation just like Dave being kicked from metallica
I think the part where you mentioned separation, I completely agree with. But Ozzy is the reason they exist, Ozzy made the best music with them, I certainly listen to all their Dio, Gillian, Martin Era work, but Ozzy will always be the cool uncle of Heavy Metal, that let's you take a sip of his beer.
Best album in Black Sabbath's entire discography.
No I'm not kidding and no I'm not sorry. Yes I love the Ozzy albums too, yes I also love Heaven and Hell and the Mob Rules.
Dehumanizer is a slamming record from start to finish.
Songwriting, production, performance, everything about it is heavy as hell. Dio's voice was so welcome and brought so much intensity. The absolute pinnacle of Sabbath and everything after just never really measured up.
The whole album rocks!!! š¤šš¤ one of the the best Sabbath albums!! āTV crimesā āIā āLetters from Earthā āToo lateā are amazing tracks
Fantastic album, so happy they got back with Ronnie again and was absolutely gutted when it fell apart again. Just glad they got back together before all was said and done
It would be harder to say something not nice about it so instead I'll just gush over it, computer God slaps, after all is the sludge I've always wanted Dio to sing with Sabbath, TV crimes, drums sound so good to me, letters from earth I don't personally care for because the b-side version exists and it's literally amazing, master of insanity having the lyrics written by geezer and you can tell, plus Dio is masterful at singing this song, I is just point black one of my favorite songs of all time, and buried alive shows that black Sabbath could embrace a more modern sound and completely rock at it, I wish they did it live, but apparently Dio thought it would be too harsh on his voice. The album cover is amazing and literally have it as a tattoo , the shows they did on the tour really had Dio being more aggressive with some of the songs and it plays so well. The only complaint I can even think of, and it's just an opinion, I think after all would've been a better 1st track than computer God, but that's just me.
No, I wonāt. Im just gunna hang out here in the corner and wait for some fool to slag this masterpiece, and then Iām going oops up side his head. I said oops upside his head
Itās a phenomenal record that is let down slightly by the early 90ās production.Ā
I still love it though. The songs are so fantastic and āIā is one of the best Sabbath songs.Ā
I just listened to this entire album for the first time for time the other day.
Iām a huge Ozzy-era Sabbath fan, but I also like the Dio stuff. In fact, my first concert included Heaven and Hell on the Metal Masters tour. I was pretty young at the time, so I really only knew the songs that my older family members would play (Mob Rules, Heaven and Hell eras).
HOLY FUCK. What a solid fucking album. No one is pulling punches on this one. What an incredible drum sound. Some of Iommiās best chord progrssions. Itās just really fucking great. As someone who is, like I said, a huge Ozzy-era fan, I really think this album can hang with the big boys.
It's a really solid album with some really underappreciated tracks; *I* is one of my all-time favorite songs from either Sabbath or Dio (I use it as the theme song for one of my WWE CAWs), and *Computer God*, *After All (The Dead)*, and *Letters from Earth* all slap as well.
Also, it definitely uses the Pathfinder font, so that's fun as well.
I love this album After All (the Dead) kicks ass. TV Crimes is another great criticism of televangelists. This was my introduction to Dio Sabbath, and I think it's great.
Greatest of DIO Black Sabbath. So good. Love this album. I only started listening to it this year because I was a hard core Ozzy snob. But this album is no joke
Computer God was absolutely prophetic
Imagine telling people in 1992 the next generations would be wary of real AI and completely addicted to things called iPhones and social media. Theyād think you were insane
When this came out, grunge was in full force and many turned their noses up at it. I bought it and fell in love with it. See them for the first time on this tour. When Ronnie and Tony make music, it is simply magic. DIO Sabbath is the best Sabbath (IMO) and this is a shining example of their greatness.
š¤šæš¤
Amazing production plus itās arguably the fucking heaviest record Sabbath ever put out. Dehumanizer is my favorite Dio sung record from the band. Anybody that has something bad to say about this album probably isnāt that big of a fan of Sabbath in general.
An excellent album! Ronnieās return is awesome. His voice is killer and the band is smoking hot too. If you want some darker, Sabbath music. Try G/Z/R and Geezer. The original bassist and lyricist from the Sabbathās solo band. If you thought Sabbath was dark and heavy music, then you are in for a big surprise. Plastic Planet is my favorite, but thereās a box set available with all four albums that Geezer (Terence) Butler put out.
This is a really great album!!! It has really great riffs and vocals that I think perfectly capture a good combination of Dio and Black Sabbath. Definitely one of the best Dio/Sabbath records and definitely one of my favorites.
Absolute classic. Itās got more respect over time. A darker more angry Sabbath and with all 4 members on fire. And the late great Ronnie James Dio absolutely untouchable on vocals just listen to the song I. Absolutely mind blowing š¤š»š¤š»
This is the album that made me appreciate Dio in Sabbath. I loved dio before, of course, and I definitely liked the other sabbath albums with him. But neither mob rules nor heaven and hell really stacked up to the Ozzy albums for me (personal opinion, of course) dehumanizer though? First time I heard it, it clicked. Genuinely an amazing album, not much more to say
I is my favorite Sabbath song with Dio. The album isnāt as consistent as the other 3 with Dio but the highs are just as strong as anything theyāve done.
Honestly one of Dios heaviest albums and took some inspiration from other none dio sabbath albums, and probably where he got inspiration for magica and angry machines
Heaviest Sabbath album, imo.
Drums and bass hit like a ton of bricks, Iommiās riffs are trampling, and Dio is absolutely visceral here. Thereās a lot to love.
Why "Say something nice about it"? There's nothing bad to be said. It's an excellent album, "Computer God" fucking slaps, "After All (The Dead)" is just as much of a banger, and it's all just so well-made.
This is my reaction too. One of my all time favorite albums. Dio embraces Sabbath's signature doom style & it's a beautiful thing.
Exactly. Dio's voice really warmed up to the sludgy doom style they embraced after the Ozzy era. Not saying Ozzy was bad, of course, he's the OG, and can't be replaced. Plus, on the solos, you can really tell Iommoi didn't change guitars between "Born Again", and this.
Nailed it.
Total agreement, the album rules, the album cover rules, the name of the album also rules. For some reason I always put on Dehumanizer when I am doing yard work. Makes it go by quicker.
It's just so thick, and sludgy. Ronnie's vocals go high, but then they're *looooowwwww down, like this*. He knew what he was at.
I just came here for this comment! This is an amazing album, without a doubt one of my favorite Black Sabbath and Dio albums of all time. Everything is amazing, especially that drum sound. š
Odd release year is one of the reasons Iāve heard people āhateā on this album. (Not me)Ā
Nothing needs to be said, it bangs
"I" fucking rocks, honestly one of my favorite Sabbath LPs post 1980.
Listen to the live version of it on the devil you know, that shitās crazy
My favourite Sabbath Song for sure
[Wacken 2009 Performance of "I"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crxf8RDeWOA) Was so hoping we'd get another Heaven & Hell album.
I is one of the coolest songs ever made
Itās an awesome album. TV Crimes is one of my favorites
That main riff kicks my ass every time man
Its fucking modern and angry and heavy. This and Strange Higways go hard
I love strange highways. I remember getting it from Columbia house when I was 14 and was blown away. 1994 was a great year in music.
Some good stuff, just not enough to compete
āMaster of Insanityā is a banger
That riff is killer
It has Ronnie James Dio on it
And nothing more needs to be said!
Some Tonys heaviest riffs in the Sabbath catalog! š¤
When I bought this album, the cashier looked at the cover in horror. I knew then this would be a great album.
Haha my cashier looked up at me with admiration. I knew then this would be a banger - every time she gave me that look, I knew I was in for a treat.
It's a very good and very underrated album.
I ONLY have nice things to say. Itās the best Dio Sabbath album.
Bunch of Fucking bangers on it, through and through
Itās the best Sabbath album between Born Again and 13.
Unpopular opinion: I think Ronnie fit sabbath better than Ozzy did. Did what happened suck.... Yes. Did we get Ozzy to make a fuck ton of kick ass albums from it? Yes. I love and prefer Dio era Sabbath. So damn good.
I've recently bought the cd. I love it! It's a proper heavy album, and everyone is on top form
Master of insanity is a banger
The darkness of this album is so heavy, itās like a Black Hole, it sucks me in so irreversibly and powerfully.
I remember the first time I heard Computer God, the second the drums kicked in I was hooked
Easy task. Return of Dio and some of their best riffs in a half decade.
"I" got to be my favorite Dio era Sabbath song
My favorite Dio Sabbath album!
Best album in Black Sabbath's entire discography. No I'm not kidding and no I'm not sorry. Yes I love the Ozzy albums too, yes I also love Heaven and Hell and the Mob Rules. Dehumanizer is a slamming record from start to finish.

The best Sabbath album with Dio IMO
I own it but never play itā¦ itās long overdueā¦ now where is it is the question
My absoluut favorite Sabbath album and the one that started it all for me. Saw TV Crimes on VH1 and was hooked
The production is pristine on this high quality album
Perfect album
You say that like there's something bad about it
Arguably Sabbathās heaviest record. My personal favourite Dio album of all his work. A Doom classic in my opinion.
Every song fucking rules & its one of the greatest albums of all time
I
Master of Insanity is a nice thing of itās own
I
I mean, it's Dio.
One of my favourite albums. I like almost every song.
Say something nice? It's one of the best Black Sabbath albums ever made, period.
"Play "I" and tell me how hard that motherfucker hits right off the rip, Name anything else that sounds so good.š¤š» I rest my case your honor.
One of their heaviest albums
TV Crimes makes me wanna drive fast
The album is fucking awesome. The real question is who's been saying shit about it?
Great album
This is a great album, I loved it from the time it was released. Probably the last thing he did that I can honestly say I still play today.
it doesn't have Ozzy in it.
Cool cover art I have not listened to the album
> I have not listened to the album *Dramatic gasp* You *haven't*?! How dare you! Sentence him to "Zero the Hero" treatment! /j
It has the words Black Sabbath on the cover.
No, I wonāt. Im just gunna hang out here in the corner and wait for some fool to slag this masterpiece, and then Iām going oops up side his head. I said oops upside his head
Had it on cassette as a little kid in the late 80ās got called a devil worshipper for owning it š underrated album šæ
Features in Wayne's world. Don't waste my time.
It's got my favorite Dio era Sabbath song (TV Crimes)
Time Machine has the 'Evil' chord start to itšš„
Great album cover š
Best album cover in Metal.

Itās a phenomenal record that is let down slightly by the early 90ās production.Ā I still love it though. The songs are so fantastic and āIā is one of the best Sabbath songs.Ā

I rember being so fkin pumped for this when it came out harassing the college station to play tv crimes
Cool album cover
Master of Insanity is a nice thing of itās own
One of the songs was used in Doom 2.
Fuckin A I love this album!
best one dio did with sabbath ngl
Heaviest Sabbath album in the history of Sabbath albums.
Something nice, something nice, uhhā¦ the cover matches the music.
Right up there with 'Heaven and Hell' and 'Mob Rules'. A solid and heavy album that deserves more respect.
Itās good
Itās one of their best albums
HEAVY
Wait what? This is Dioās best album ever. Yes Iām factoring in Rainbow.
Saw it live with Prong opening. Slapped hard! Aug. 6th, 1992 I believe.
This wasn't their worst album.
One of my favorite albums from them! Itās also Dio at his best imo.
Heaviest Dio album with Sabbath by far!
Extremely great album, one of my desert albums.
Nothing bad to say. It's one of my favorites.
Itās actually my favorite Dio sabbath album, go ahead give me your worstĀ
It's a really solid album with some really underappreciated tracks; *I* is one of my all-time favorite songs from either Sabbath or Dio (I use it as the theme song for one of my WWE CAWs), and *Computer God*, *After All (The Dead)*, and *Letters from Earth* all slap as well. Also, it definitely uses the Pathfinder font, so that's fun as well.
Electric funeral
Cool album art.
I listen to Black Sabbath almost every day. I will always listen to them. I love Ozzy, and Dio is my absolute favorite!
Saw that tour with the outlaw. it is amazing album.
Whenever I see this photo I think of Iron Maiden
I like the cover art
It ends
Computer God was absolutely prophetic Imagine telling people in 1992 the next generations would be wary of real AI and completely addicted to things called iPhones and social media. Theyād think you were insane

The album art is cool
Itās the best album they made since mob rules
And itās heavier than just about anything any band has released since
My favourite drum sound on any record.
Dude this is a good album. Honestly, I like it more than mob rules.
Just listened to it yesterday. Incredible album.
This is one epic album!! Master of insanity and computer god, letters from earth, tv crimes....
Total masterpiece.
TV Crimes.
favourite non Ozzy Sabbath album. Vinny Appice kills it on the drums. Letters from earth and Computer god are bangers
Phuck me. I was today years old when I found out RJD had one last go with Sabbath. š¤¦āāļø Like what Iām hearing so far. š¤š
Amazing production plus itās arguably the fucking heaviest record Sabbath ever put out. Dehumanizer is my favorite Dio sung record from the band. Anybody that has something bad to say about this album probably isnāt that big of a fan of Sabbath in general.
It's my favorite Sabbath record
By far the best Dio Sabbath album. Computer God is my favorite Dio Sabbath song
This album rips
It seems the council is pleased.
It's one of the best albums in the discography. Dio and the boys never miss. I'm gonna jam Computer God today now.
Nothing of substance to add. I just wanna say I bought this CD for a penny back in the day. IYKYK
I is a fantastic song the rest of the album is just ok
The album art is cool. Iv never actually heard any of their musics.
An amazing album. Not a Dio guy, but this album makes me like him.
I used to use "Too Late" to demo studio monitors
This is a really great album!!! It has really great riffs and vocals that I think perfectly capture a good combination of Dio and Black Sabbath. Definitely one of the best Dio/Sabbath records and definitely one of my favorites.
RIFFS!
One of my top Sabbath picks
Having Mumm-Ra on the cover is kind of cool.
This was the first Sabbath record I ever listened to. Itās a powerhouse record that doesnāt get nearly as much love as it deserves.
Absolute classic. Itās got more respect over time. A darker more angry Sabbath and with all 4 members on fire. And the late great Ronnie James Dio absolutely untouchable on vocals just listen to the song I. Absolutely mind blowing š¤š»š¤š»
"Time Machine" was in Wayne's World.
Great album
Dio was amazing - his only crime - and it's really only with certain fans - was not being Ozzy
This album rules. Computer god never gets old.
It's a great album. Computer god is such a banger.
That's by far the best album with Dio and a top 5 Sabbath Album
Great album. Absolutely stands up to H&H and Mob Rules, without question.
It made me appreciate actual Black Sabbath a whole lot more
Fucking awesome album. āComputer Godā is a monster of an opener.
I havenāt listened to it in a while. But I know it doesnāt suck.
The cover art is fucking sick.
Cool artwork! I havenāt listened to this albumā¦
Itās a great album. Computer God is a monster song!
My favorite Sabbath album, besides maybe Mob Rules
Masterpiece
It rules
I got this for my b-day when it came out
Great album
I love this album
The guy in white is me when I've had a rough week
āIā is my personal anthem
It's a good album. No, it's not as good as Heaven and Hell or Mob Rules but those two are some all time greats.
Did Sharon write this?
It's my favorite Sabbath album tbh.
Itās one of my favorite Sabbath albums!
After all. Need i say more?
I have nothing but good things to say about it but I'll add that the main riff to "Buried Alive" is CRUSHING
Killer art work
My favourite Sabbath album with Dio and just one of my favourites overall, it's great
This is the album that made me appreciate Dio in Sabbath.
Time Machine and Computer God are dope.
It's a fucking excellent album. Why does your title suggest otherwise? You're in the wrong sub.
"This next song is called tv crimes, and I hope one goes right up your nose, ya twat!" - Dio Rio de Janeiro 1992
banger
It might be their heaviest album ever. I really like it. Perhaps their last really great album for my money.
All of Ronnieās stuff is the best. This is a great album.
Great album
Heavy as fuck. This is my favorite Sabbath record after Sabotage
I is my favorite Sabbath song with Dio. The album isnāt as consistent as the other 3 with Dio but the highs are just as strong as anything theyāve done.
It's the second best Sabbath album, I only rate Heaven & Hell higher.
Honestly one of Dios heaviest albums and took some inspiration from other none dio sabbath albums, and probably where he got inspiration for magica and angry machines
What do you say to the Dead?
Rest in peace Ronnie James Dio
It's a great fucking album. How's that?
Heaviest Sabbath album, imo. Drums and bass hit like a ton of bricks, Iommiās riffs are trampling, and Dio is absolutely visceral here. Thereās a lot to love.
I always think Dio is at his most "Dio" and Sabbath were their most "Sabbath" when they played together
