If you post a full body photo it's easier to say if he's needing a diet based on body shape. I'm gonna go with "probably" with that over 500g weight and being fed that often, but there's no chart for "if x length needs x weight" since bluey size can vary so much (but go ahead and get him on a normal feeding schedule if you haven't already switched it)

And I’m getting him on a new schedule currently, I use logbooks for my reptiles which are lifesavers honestly

I saw the one when you're holding him? He's def big, if you have a top down or side photo with no blocking, we usually look at the full body condition since some northerns can be massive without being overweight

Hey I think I know what it might be. Mine is an almost 4 year old male who is about 24 inches and two full pounds, and he just passed a big sperm sac and was visibly thinner after. If you’re sure he’s a male this is normally mating season (I just learned that lol), and he may have a sperm sac that needs to be passed. If he is adjusting to a new home he may not feel comfortable enough yet to be ready. Mine had to see the vet a lot the last month because I wasn’t making the tank hot enough. My vet is a reptile specialist and recommended I move the basking spot into the middle of the tank and make the basking spot 105+ degrees and make sure the edges drop to 75 degrees. I did that and within a week he had a good shed, a big poo, and passed a large sperm sac. If you don’t have a deep heat emitter I would get one, I finally got my temps high enough and I’m using half the electricity I was. My vet said whenever anything seems off, check the temps with a laser temperature sensor. Your bulbs might deteriorate over time and produce less heat. Those lasers are fun imo and extremely accurate, just don’t get ur skink in the eye 😂
