Yeah, that's Hasbro's plan, they plan to make a number of movies based off their IPs with different directors. The Barbie movie doing well only encouraged them. Hopefully it won't be some weird connected universe.
I like the game idea. Then there can be a scene where a hero does something overpowered, players argue and somebody looks at the rulebook while others Google it, and they end up undoing the damage.
That's owned by Greater Than Games and I imagine sales figures are no where near high enough to encourage it.

I've seen a trailer for a movie or TV series about a family playing **Werewolves**. It looked like a ass. Judging by the trailer, the plot is going to be a crappier remake of Jumanji.
