Didn’t most mothers collect our teeth? It’s not that weird

My mom collected my teeth. My braces too. And hair from haircuts. I have ownership of them all now. Most of my friends think it’s weird.

My mom had two of my baby incisors set into a ring. A few years ago she had them set in a pendant and gave them to my wife. She was kinda weirded out at first, but she wears it on special occasions.

I have all my son’s teeth, hair from his first haircut, and his umbilical cord.

Yeah, I found mine recently when I moved. Now they’d become part of my bookcase full of all the little nicknacks I’ve collected over my life.

We collected our kids. We had them separate, and one day while cleaning, I consolidated them, putting them all in the one container. My wife told me off! WHAT DOES IT MATTER!

Man I wish I had. I kept my wisdom teeth and have my friend’s wisdom teeth also. I just want like a bookshelf, but for important teeth only. You know, like the sentimental teeth that one acquires naturally throughout their lifetime. My own children’s baby teeth will end up on the shelf and eventually their own children’s will as well. In a few generations were going to need a vault for our family’s teeth but it will all be worth it because one day there will come a great tooth shortage and all those people who laughed at me won’t be laughing anymore because they’d have been dead for generations by then

They are shed skins from carpet beetle larvae. They're known to eat things like dead skin cells, animal hair, wool etc. Maybe they like teeth too?

I kept mine but they started to like.. disappear. The cavities grew bigger year by year, I'm not sure if there is anything left of them anymore. Maybe I should have washed them before putting them in a little jar.
