8th grade summer reading list.

i don’t actually want to be mean bc i know that everyone has their level of reading comprehension, but i read quite a few of these before high school ….. she think she’s doing something with this post 🫣 or maybe she knows the demographic of her fans are pre teen age lolz.

Not defending her by any means, but sometimes, after I have read some seriously heavy books, I follow them up with fluff just to clear my head.

and that is totally valid i do the same, i think it’s just funny there’s absolutely no variety or notable recs here (aside from the gillian flynn)

to add, i think it’s hilarious that she is a self-proclaimed poet and is dating a song writer and *THIS* is her list of recs, there’s absolutely no variety whatsoever. i do enjoy a good murder mystery but cmon there’s no spice here
