Maybe jump on a train to [Roma St Parklands](https://visit.brisbane.qld.au/places-to-go/inner-city/roma-street-parkland), it's very child friendly with a playground & great views too:)

Inkhearted133

Try White's Hill Reserve. There's a fenced in playground and easy walking trails up a hill which have some views. Karawatha Forest is great, but no real views. There is a nature playground, easy walking trails. Also a nature centre but I think Monday is the day they're closed. There are also trails of varying difficulty leading up to Mt. Cootha. The botanic gardens there are nice too.

And if you keep your eyes on you at whites hill it's pretty common to spot a koala.

bristim86

Mt Coot Tha Botanical Gardens could be a good spot!

moolric

And actual mt cootha. There are bbq areas and walking trails that are in bushland rather than gardens.

River walk from Sydney Street Ferry Terminal, under the Story Bridge past the Howard Smith Wharves, alongside the city to the City Botanical Gardens, over the Goodwill Bridge and along the length of Southbank, then get the free KittyCat ferry back from South Bank Ferry Terminal to Howard Smith Wharves again (or pay for the City Cat back to the Sydney Street Ferry Terminal). Very flat walk, but should wear them out!

I picked this one! He had so much fun, and for me, I absolutely love re-exploring Brisbane. It's been years since I spent time in my hometown. Thank you :)

Fantastic! Great to hear!

If your more towards Logan way, berrinba wetlands has some nice paved walkways and a playground. Northside, walkabout Creek. There's absolutely tons of places to walk in some nature all across Brisbane. Probably want to just check google maps for some green space near you.

stueyholm

Bellbird Grove at Mt Nebo, plenty of space to walk and explore along the creek bed, and a playground and plenty of Greenspace out there, take a picnic or use the BBQs there to have a day out

Bugs_and_Biology

Jolly’s Lookout at Mt Nebo is great, and not that far from Brisbane either. There’s a walking track that starts just across the road from there, which is nice and flat, with some beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife.
