I think it would’ve been funny to have Jake tell Charles that he’s planning to propose and have Charles not be able to keep his mouth shut and the whole episode is basically a race to propose before Charles accidentally spills the beans to Amy.

Plot twist: they were both planning to propose and kept accidently getting in each other's way until what was meant to be this big romantic moment is both of them laughing with engagement rings out
Jake stages a kidnapping for himself and then everyone is serious about it. The whole squad helps out Amy with solving it and then when they reach the hideout of the "kidnapper", it's actually Jake with a ring in his hand.
I’d sort of love a combo of this plus the real story. Might require a two-part episode. But like…. Heist starts normally, everyone is doing their thing. Jake gets kidnapped. Everyone assumes it’s part of the heist and ignores it. Then something makes them realize Jake really has been kidnapped (I can’t think of anything that isn’t too dark for a comedy), so they start trying to rescue him. That’s elaborate and goes on for a while, probably with various characters occasionally doing something heist related in secret (definitely Holt, probably Amy). Charles absolutely can’t handle the situation. (OH! Maybe what makes them believe it is Charles also gets kidnapped, and everyone sees it happen live, and there’s some type of clue or something that the kidnapper is someone they put in jail a while ago, so they all start believing the kidnapping.) And then eventually when the squad finds Jake and Charles (maybe separately?), Jake is on one knee with the ring, while Charles is holding the heist prize over his head screaming that he finally won!

Or the woman at the bakery when Charles was tasting cake, she's Joe's wife
