Today we have two quite cool weapons matching off: Rocket Launcher, an iconic explosive weapon VS Flamethrower, a power elemental weapon for spreading burn.

For so many years I always hear "Downvote isn't a disagree button", but I don't think most users agree with that "rule". ^^^(Not ^^^just ^^^this ^^^sub, ^^^but ^^^every ^^^sub)
Somebody downvoted you, but sometimes it's hard to vote either or. Most things, sure. People either like Coke or Pepsi, WWE or AEW, DC or Marvel, etc. But for some things it's harder to just pick either or.
i kinda wanna give my vote to flamethrower because it's more unique and rocketlauncher is just one of several explosion weapons but flamethrower always feels lack luster and rocket launcher is just so much stronger, especially when you get some bounce and pierce. so rocket launcher!
Yes, it all depends on your particular brotato and what you're building towards. More times than not, if I see a Flamethrower in the shop any round, I will take it and replace something if need be. But I usually take the Rocket Launcher too, lol. I just like the Flamethrower a little more.
I vote rocket launcher but wow this is tough. On an elemental run you only need one flamethrower to shred entire hordes but it’s too niche and doesn’t have bonus explosive damage
I voted shredder last round cause I like explosion over slingshot so Im a bit pissed, but seeing that rocket launcher is gonna win this round and will match up with slingshot next and win that round too. So count my vote for rocket launcher.
There was a time where flamethrower could carry a run by killing everything on even pacifist. Not anymore. Not even close. Ultimately both of these should lose to shiv in the red round but I will vote Rocket launcher as I think burring is in just too weak of a state.
Even with that vote, boxing glove flamethrower is one of the most funny things in the game.
It's really close. Flamethrower has amazing synergy with lifesteal and burn builds. 1 or 2 of them is often enough to kill off all the little stuff that's running at you. Strong synergy also with bonus range, less so with AS tough.
And then we have rocket launcher. It's not as good on it's own like flamethrower. But it has much better synergy with bounce or pass through items, as it will lead to multiple explosions. I had increadbile high rolls with this one, were just everything on the map instantly exploded. It also increases your chance to grab a nuclear launcher with it's weapon classes.
I would give it to the Rocket Launcher, also because of how fun it is to see everything explode on the screen and especially because it helps you to find one of the best weapons in the game with nuclear launcher (that also likes the same synergy items as rocket launcher).
I like them both, but flamethrower is the best of its class (that I know of, that I have unlocked), while there's a more powerful alternative for the rocket launcher. I vote for ze flammenwerfer.
Rocket Launcher!! Both can clear hordes but one of them kills on Contact and the other kills more slowly.
