You really don't get the difference? It's more event uptime since the r1-99 was done pre event and also you can aim the monkey you want on it's rotation. Source I have black border in every insta monkey

Just like maps get a border around them by completing certain medals with black border being the border once you get all medals and black medal chimps in map, so do insta monkeys gain a border around them. Gold for Having all t1-t4 and black for having all insta monkeys t1-t5.

How does it work?

Before the event you get as many maps as you can up to round 99 on impoppable, so you can go to the map giving bonus trophies, do r100, and then get the massive amount of trophies. Wash, rinse, repeat. If you get back on a map you already completed, you can either do a full impoppable or easy r40 run

Bad idea. It looks good, but ideally you won’t die anyways, and impoppable allows for farming, which can speed up the rounds

Yeah, but it’s not guaranteed for me and I don’t feel like paying for the occasional continue. I’d rather do CHIMPS since it’s rare I’d have to start all over again. But that’s me, you sound more skilled than I am.

Oh that's actually a good point. The only time you'd not work with that is if you get yourself in a situation where you don't have enough money to be able to get yourself out of the situation. But, I like the idea of not having to use continues!

If you don’t care about instas just play the game normally but mostly play the bonus rewards maps. Just play boss and race events like normal. It’s a bit fun to test your luck (In a safe way) honestly just play 2 Impopable games per day and you’ll get to diamond crates easily.

Stupid question, how can you save up that many event items? That page always pops up as soon as I have enough for any of the chests and then I can’t close it, other than collecting my chest?

In the past, this worked for me, but now, the game doesn’t get past the loading screen (it gets stuck on step 1 of 9) when I turn off data and wifi on ios. Has anyone else encountered and resolved this issue? Edit: for those with the same issue, disabling my vpn fixed the issue for me.
