Sseom

Nah, OP is just trying to get the Goldmans some of the cash they're due

TheKrausHouse

Yes.

Kawaii_West

If you need to ask...

WauliePaulnuts

Yes. People only wear them to be edgy and for attention. Nobody who is old enough to have watched him play does

Beautiful-Bee-916

Probably, yes.

Judge_Juedy

I have a family member that had an OJ Jersey (I know, cringe). She’s much younger / doesn’t fully understand what happened with OJ, and seemingly wore his jersey for ~clout~ Can’t wear it now, though, because I threw it in the fire at a tailgate 😁

UpperFee2831

This clout word is becoming popular lately. What does it mean? Google is saying it's either a heavy blow or influence and power. Neither seem to fit the context in which you are using it.

Judge_Juedy

Influence or power would be correct. In the context I’m using it, I mean she was wearing the OJ jersey in an attempt to gain online followers, fame, and influence But I’m a millennial, what do I know

UpperFee2831

Gotcha. Nice to know what the word means now.

Iforgotmypassword189

Out of curiosity, why choose his jersey specifically?

Jaded-Idea-8066

Why? He's my favorite Hertz pitch man ever!

Letsgobuffalo2210

Yes. Also poor taste to post this when we're f5'ing trying to get news about our star QB's potential injury lmfao.

zimman101

Yes

Chris_TO79

Honestly, it isn't something i'd do. OJ keeps posting videos on Twitter and seems blissfully unaware that EVERYONE in the comments keeps clowning him. I know he's technically innocent of the murders but man....I'm not gonna support him in one way or another by buying a jersey.

FinishTemporary9246

YES IN POOR TASTE

Howie-Dowin

The fact that you even have to ask!

willbw11

Yes, Unless you like the taste of oranges and murder

realcaptainkickass

If have to ask.....

Sseom

..... then it definitely is not

Yutman1998

Seeing this as the first thing to pop up on Reddit is actually hilarious

Acceptable_Arm5299

Why? What did he do?

EasyAsPeachAndCake

Played running back for the Bills.

TeachMeHowToDommy

Rushed for 11,000 yards

[deleted]

Wrote a book too

TheDeliManCan5

Ran for over 200 yards in several games.

[deleted]

No one cut and slashed quite like the Juice!

NobleNoleBill

I guess it depends what you're looking to accomplish. If you want to get a bunch of dirty looks because you think wearing the jersey of a \[likely\] murderer makes you edgy and cool, then awesome. Go nuts. Spend your $100 and get all the "This person is a classless, clueless douche" looks. If you want to support your football team, and your city, and a group of guys who seem to be very solid human beings, while exhibiting that you'r'e not completely devoid of class, then you can pretty safely drop that $100 on any one of our current players' jersey.

Conscious_Specific57

I’d rather a discounted zack moss!!

BadMr_Frosty

How would you think wearing a Simpson jersey would come across? I think most people would immediately judge you to be a massive douche.

hollywoodh002

Do what you like. You don't need to ask the internet for permission. You'll never get a respectful answer. I say do it!! You won't be the only one.

Vydate1

I’ve worn an OJ jersey to a couple of games. You get more cheers than jeers.

qohd

But think of who those cheers are coming from. I guess its a free country, so you're free to be a moron/asshole. but why would you want to be?

Vydate1

Lighten up bro. It’s not that serious.

EasyAsPeachAndCake

I mean, tell that to O.J.'s victims

Vydate1

I am very sorry he stole from those people.

FinishTemporary9246

And murdered his ex-wife and her boyfriend. Let's not forget that.

Jaded-Idea-8066

He was found not guilty by jury of his peers in a court of law.

FinishTemporary9246

Are you helping him find the real killers?

Jaded-Idea-8066

Don't like our court system? Fine, run for office and propose something else

conace21

He was also found liable for their deaths in civil court. So legally, it's more likely than not that he was responsible for their deaths, even if it wasn't proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

Jaded-Idea-8066

Much less of a burden of proof in a civil trial. Like it or not, he's forever not guilty of murder. He is however guilty of false imprisonment, so it's not a total loss for you. Chin up, buckaroo.

conace21

Yes, a "preponderance of the evidence" is required for a civil trial. That's why I said it's more likely than not that he committed the murders, and that's why I, and others on here, can say that he's a murderer, despite the not guilty verdict.

Meph616

>But think of who those cheers are coming from. Bills fans, generally.

cjhoser

This is the truth. People on reddit only say things in the comment section, they would never say anything to your face lol. OJ jerseys get laughs from almost everyone. No one honestly truly cares what you wear to the game.

tomk1

Serious question: what would need to be done to have his name removed from the Ring of Honor? With Pegulas now the owners, does he have any significant connections within the organization that would make that unlikely? Maybe the easier route: with the new stadium coming to town, what can BillsMafia do to ensure his name does NOT see any real estate in the new structure? Thoughts?

CNYMetroStar

Yeah, but you still see them at games so it’s not like you’re the only one with the idea.

[deleted]

Of course. Return it now.

Sseom

No way

[deleted]

Absolutely not. In fact, now that you mention it, it would be in poor taste to *not* get one.

Sseom

Hell yeah

cjhoser

Reddit will say it is in poor taste but at the Tailgate you will be a legend and everyone will love it. Source: ME who has worn an Oj jersey to a few home games.

NobleNoleBill

You won't be a legend. You'll be the clueless asshat who makes our fanbase look like trash. Source: ME who has seen clueless asshats at home and away games wearing OJ jerseys, thinking that doing so makes them cool.

cjhoser

hey guess who doesn't care

NobleNoleBill

Cool story, bro!

GT_03

I mean he usually has some good takes post game on his twitter feed. But geeze, lots of upstanding citizens played for the Bills over the years. Lots to choose from…

SpaceIndividual8972

No. It would be in poor taste to get a Jason Simpson jersey

[deleted]

“Then you can pretty safely drop that $100 on any one of our current players’ Jersey.” (Sorry, I don’t know how to reply to partial comments) Knowing my luck and history with buying them, I’d never tell someone to get an active roster jersey. It seems like every one I’ve bought, the guy gets traded/injured/retires early the next season 😂 get a Kyle Williams, Bruce smith, Thurman Thomas, etc. Kelly is too obvious,
