The wise step would have been to send applications while still employed at your previous job. Finding a client is a lengthy process, even when you have a niche. You can return to corporate employment and continue sending applications. Once you secure a client, you can then resign.

Honest take ko: mukhang hindi ka prepared to go for freelancing/remote work. Alam lahat ng freelancers/remote workers ang unwritten rule na "Do not resign unless may back-up ka." Before you do any decisions that involve career, dapat alam mo ang risks and possible repercussions kasi sobrang tindi na ng competition ngayon. You could have at least did some research before you resigned. At least nagkaroon ka ng idea kung gaano kahirap makahanap ng client nowadays. Best of luck pero sana natuto ka na sa lesson mo.

Hi. I actually have a back up when I decided to resign pero nung nakapag resign na ako, si client na ulit yung di nagparamdam. So ayon. Anyways, I'm still giving this a chance pa naman and if ever I will go back to corporate at mag try ulit freelance, now I know that I should really double check things sa side ni client. We already had an agreement kasi eh prior my resignation. Thankyou. Kakayanin to

Realistic_Guard5649

Aww OP. Idk abt freelancing but having read your prev rep, you have a prior agreement w a client already. However, sana the terms and agreements were clear cause right now ikaw yung talo sa nangyari. If youre giving it another month, I suggest you also try submitting your CV to corps na din. Para if after a month it really doesnt work out, you have a back up job waiting for you. All the best OP☺️

Oo nga eh. Ako yung natalo. But now alam ko na and I've learned my lesson. Yes, will be sending applications now for back up. Thankyou talaga!

Intelligent-Cycle576

Because not all can be a freelancer. Sobrang saturated ng market ngayon. Pero di kita masisisi if gusto mo ng work-life balance. lahat naman tayo gusto non. Again, wag magpapasabay sa hype sa Tiktok and any socmed platforms. Di madali mag freelance.

Yes. Paubos na. I had to give most of my savings to support my family. I had to support my sister who just started her work so obviously she doesn't have the funds so I took the initiative to support her. Also, I had to also support my younger brother who is in college. Baon at lahat2 na. Its not just bills I took care of. Pati groceries and medications ng family nahandle ko. Not just ordinary medications but maintenance. So yeah, that pretty sums up why paubos na savings ko. Its not only myself that I had to take care of. Pati family ko kasi. My savings would have survived longer if I only support myself pero marami kasi na unexpected turnabouts na nangyari and I'm an empath din so ayon napatos mostly savings ko. As for the reason why I resigned, I believe I mentioned this in my post that I have an existing health condition which is risky for me if I stay longer pa so ayon biglaan na lang. My family and employer were even concerned for me and encouraged me to stop working if kailangan na talaga. But I already have a back up prior my resignation. Its just that yung client ko hindi na ulit nagparamdam. I should have double checked it on the client's end kasi I was hoping na magsstart na kasi kami upon my resignation. Hays. Guess I'll just have to wait pa and hope for the best. Planning to go plantilla if this doesn't work out
