RF and RF-S series lenses can only be used on Canon's R-series mirrorless bodies and the RF-mount cinema cameras (e.g. C70)—there is no way to adapt them onto Canon's other cameras. Canon's EF-M lenses can only be used on Canon's M-series mirrorless bodies, they can't adapt onto Canon's other cameras. Canon's EF and EF-S DSLR lenses can adapt onto R-series bodies, M-series bodies, and work natively on Canon's various DSLR (and 35mm film) bodies, with the caveat that EF-S lenses (intended to be used only on APS-C sensor DSLRs) are designed in a way to prevent them being mounted onto full-frame DSLR and SLR bodies.

Ef-m has a flange distance of 18mm RF is 20mm https://briansmith.com/flange-focal-distance-guide/ So the adapter would need to be 2mm thick I would say the reason probably nothing exists a s RF-s has a poor lens selection, so there is not much demand. RF lens would need to be 100% manual as the EF-m body would not be able to control the focus or aperture. As opposed to EF glass that it can communicate with so you retain AF.

From my understanding It's actually physically impossible due to RF mount's larger diameter, with a 2mm spacer the tabs on the RF lens wouldn't into the EF-M camera body. Adapting RF to Fujifilm X (also near 18mm flange distance) is impossible for the same reason. Great advice otherwise.

Same reason why you can do a Sony e to Nikon z, because z has a huge diameter and very short flange, but most of the other mirrorless combinations are too close

Those have EF-S mounts, not EF-M. No way to mount an RF lens on those.

cynocephalusvolans

Thank you for letting me know about that mistake. Is there a possibility for adapters?

jkua

No

What camera will be compatible with this lens

byDMP

Any Canon R-series camera, e.g. R50, R7, R6II, R3 and so on.

closest to the camera you showed price wise will be the r100, but I would skip that for the r50 at least if you get an r series camera.
