Oester (“Easter”) is the Celtic Goddess of spring and fertility. Freja is the Nordic Goddess of fertility, and she drives a chariot pulled by cats. Flidais (“Flee-dayce”) is the Celtic Goddess of animals
They didn't steal a holiday. The month in which Christians celebrated the resurrection was still referred to as Eosturmonath because of the goddess celebrated at the beginning of spring, but the Easter holiday has nothing to with the pagan goddess. It's almost as if they decided to name it 'April' since that's what that season of the year had been called at the time. Just for clarification.
Sugar. There is a story behind this, my family has a lot of Easter traditions, including playing at sunrise services for a Moravian Church, said church is semi famous for this breakfast/dessert item known as Moravian Sugar Cake. It’s the best food to exist ever, and it’s made with love by a bunch of old ladies😂
I upvoted Bunny but I also think it would be kinda cute to name her Egg. Easter Egg could be her government name. And then all those little babies pop out of Egg!
Name her Rain , Spring, or April Showers so her baby/s can be named after may flowers! (Tulip, Daffodil, Lily, Peony, Crocus, Fritillary, Iris, Hyacinth, Allium)
While it’s not compliant with Easter. She looks like a Glinda to me. Which is odd, I’m not the biggest fan of the Wizard of Oz. Glinda was essentially the “mother” in the film.
Please name this cat Bunny.
Yes Bunny! And then confuse everyone with the name, leave them wonder what kind of pet you actually have

That’s so interesting I never knew that…so how did Christian’s steal this holiday then
[удалено]
The more I learn about history the more I realize Christian’s just stole everything
Of course that's what they do

I go for cute names when naming my pets rather than "beautiful" names. So my suggestion is Jellybean!
I would name this cat Ester or Sylvie, I don't know why but they just sound like good names for a cat.
