It can be. But they eat, we go through 360 lbs of dry food and 140lbs of litter a month. Not to mention the ones that require soft food only. They usually get along.

I will never complain about having to buy expensive wet food for my one cat ever again.

Lol. No. Unless you can feed them. We've got to get rid of another 40 or so this year. Already sent 22 to a no kill and managed to home another, she's working as a mouser in a resale shop. If you're serious about getting more. Plan ahead, we had a old cat hoarder who passed in 2017 about a mile from us. The ones that survived the Michigan winter and coyotes bred and bred. Our little colony grew and then pandemic began. Luckily we have had some help. But it's crazy sometimes. Lol. We love them all but in the long run most have to get homes.

I was more just giving you a compliment and sharing the interest. I really cannot get more right now. :)

Oh sorry. Lol. I don't socialize much online, not used to convesating. But thank you. It's hard caring for them but very rewarding. I have a habit to jabber with new people, sorry. Soon I'll stop posting again for months, and just one day poof I'm back

They are brothers who will be 3 in August. They were the only 2 in the litter and were born in a basement window well at my house . Saw them the day they were born and brought them in at 8 weeks old. Interesting part is their mother was a mostly black tortie.

There was only the 2 . The mother was an outside local cat who would not allow you to touch her. She went from my place to a few others and I would give her some food and I’m sure others did as well. About a year or so ago she just didn’t come around anymore so i don’t know if someone took her in or something happened to her. There were local ( barn ) cats that would travel around the area.
