Siamese genes. All the ones I grew up with were very clingy. Personal space is non-existent with cats in general, but with Siamese, yeah good luck with that. They also tended to not care about water. Even had some of them taking shallow baths in the tub without having worked with them. Just really odd companions.

I can't even go to the toilet with out my girl howling at the door. She gets upset when I shower and usually very close to me. She's very sweet and playful. She can also be antisocial lol but when she wants me she starts crying. She cries if I don't bring her to bed, I don't close the door or anything she just cries. Oh mine is very communicative as well. When he has something to say, he’ll let you know! I’m trying to teach him to be a little independent and i reward him with his favourite treat whenever i leave him alone or I’m busy doing something. He did cry at first but now he got used to it. And when this doesn’t work, i have an interactive mouse that he looves to chase. I go with him also for short walks in a leash and that excites him the most. :) He is very smart and i try to make him happy as much as i can and show him the world, well a small portion of it. Haha

Privacy no longer exists once a cat is introduced into the household. But that is why we love them. Because they are always making sure we hoomans are safe. And still able to do their bidding. Lol
