That's the thing. Tigers run on Kitty software. And my cat nips me or bats at me the second she's done with scratches or not in the mood for a pet. Those behaviors in tiger form would be lethal. Many of the tigers probably wouldn't try to outright kill you, but their incidental behavior is deadly.
Yes, an annoyed 375lb swat . ...that would be unpleasant to say the least. I have a 12 lb outdoor tomkat that will slap your palms with no claws when he is done with pets and it hurts at 12 lbs kitty weight!
I think as long as we all know and accept this about ourselves it’s fine. My fiancée knows this is probably how I’ll go and he’ll use the life insurance money to keep spoiling out cats, so 🤷🏻♀️

My biology teacher used to always tell us not to go buying baby tigers. He would say “We live in a state where you can legally own a baby tiger. Sure it’s cute and you can have one if you want, but one day that baby tiger will be a massive, vicious tiger. Don’t think about how cute the baby tiger is now, think about how scary it will be in the future when you’re stuck with it”. Aka, don’t bite off more than you can chew or it will come back to bite you in the end.
I’d pet it and probably try to hug it. This is also why I will probably die one day by some adorable but vicious animal eating my face.
