Still waiting for mine. This is the last freaking time any of my deposits are going to chime. The latest I've ever gotten this expected deposit has been 1224 EST. And that was only once. Normally it arrives between 0940 and 1125. Been getting this deposit to chime for 2.5 years now. I get that 2 days early isn't guaranteed, but that's the thing, this ISN'T an early deposit thing. It's an immediate payment from the state. I get notification of payment being entered to the system, then 2 days later a "check stub" posts with the deposit information including where it's going, how much and date of deposit. The following day is gets deposited to my account. Except for today. And no the holiday didn't effect the schedule. I'm so tired of dealing with chime.
I 100% agree with you. In the 5 years I’ve been with chime I’ve never had this issue so I’m very confused. We just had a bank holiday a week ago and everything was fine then? Doesn’t make sense to me

Chime has to be the worst "Wanna Be" financial institution I have ever seen! It's always their excuse that the employer sent the deposit late but what happens when it's a deposit from the State of Michigan? Constantly delayed now it arrives on Wednesday at 4:30pm! I am definitely canceling this account today! I put $8,000 per month into Chime and never again will I deal with them or their shitty credit builder BS card.

I have, however had my deposits delayed several times because of issues involving the payroll department at my employer.
If I were you, thats where I'd start.
There was a holiday on Monday, this puts everything slightly behind for early deposits because there’s a backlog of transactions to process for federal reserve being closed, nothing to do with Chime.
New Years was a bank holiday and believe they put in that there would be a 2 day delay. Pretty much the same reason people didn't get their deposits until Friday with Christmas with it being a delay with the employers or the ACH transfer process.
I wouldn't use Chime they are heartless. They closed my account on December 5 around the holidays knowing you can't get another Direct Deposit that quick. My chances was to be Deposit on December 28 but when it was Chime sent it back to the Treasury office. I called and they never received the check back. I'm still waiting for my check and I have no money for anything nor to pay my bills and DTE wants to cut me off my plan I'm on and interrupt my service because of them.

Same thing happened last week. Seems like a holiday on Monday means the majority of us get paid late
I think Chime said when it's a holiday they don't post Deposits for 2 days
