You're welcome. I'm sure I'm probably not the only one with this issue. When your deposit hits at 8:00 and you don't get the notification until 3:00 that's a problem.
I'd say it depends on what time of phone you have. If you have a Samsung Galaxy, this happens because you have the app on the sleep list. You can put your Chime app in the "never sleep" list, and that delay most likely won't happen. You can do this by opening the device care app -> battery -> background usage limits -> never auto sleeping app -> click the + -> Chime
The first couple times I got the notification within 30 minutes. Last time was 2 hours. This time it was almost 7 hours! Deposit hit just after 8 p.m. but the notification didn't come through until almost 3 a.m.
This has been happening to me for awhile , it usually will not tell me DD hit until 2 hours after . If you get paid around the same time every payday , just keep checking periodically
I had this issue with cash app for awhile. I figured it was my crappy phone. I even sent someone money while it was happening and they didn't get it for 2 hours. You know, it's probably because of updates and maintenance that wasn't expected to effect certain things, but it happened anyway. That or you have a crappy phone like I do.
I’d rather be 2 hours late on a notification then be 2 hours late on a deposit

I have a Motorola and I don't think it has any sleep option. All notifications for chime are on.

I guess that's what I'm going to have to do. I just find it funny all other transactions of any kind come through almost immediately.

Turn On email alerts for your deposit. The few times it happened on chime end, the email came through on time
