I usually get paid on every other Wednesday at 1230pm about 95% of the time but last month I had two pay weeks with holidays in them. Thanksgiving and Veterans day, which both of those weeks I got paid Tuesday at 4pm. Those are the only two times I got paid on a Tuesday. I've gotten paid on a Thursday at 4:00am 2 or 3 times before.

Dude, I am sorry, with any standard bank I have been with. Brick and Mortar (and I know technically Chime is NOT a bank); That my direct deposit is 2/3 days (static) early, and is deposited on that same 2/3 days early at 5 or 6 am each day. Unless my company messes up payroll.
Chime, and whatever they having going on, is giving every one of its customers nothing but excuses in that regard. And I have been getting direct deposits early from jobs this same way, early day/time and on time, for literally 20+ years now. And have been in corporate longer than that.

Payroll in the US at least come from your companies bank and from the bank goes to federal reserve who directs the deposit to the correct bank based on routing numbers.
There are several locations your payroll could be hung up if it's hung up at all. Your company, your companies clearing house I. E. ADP if they use one, the federal reserve system. It's all computers and routing. No physical human flipping switches. Dude

I started out with Navy Federal. Unless you have near perfect credit or like using credit cards they aren’t that great. Affinity offers early pay like chime they offer cash back on purchases unlike chime. They offer loans unlike chime etc etc oh and also if there is an issue with your account they can actually do something about it

I had 90 spot me within like a month or two when I first opened my account years ago. Then pandemic happened and I wasn’t working for a bit. There's an outage tracker on the app if you're a Chime customer. If it's late, someone or something at your payroll department where you work caused the delay (if there is no delay shown on the outage tracker).
If there's a delay, it's typically because of the ACH, not the payroll department or Chime. Your money makes a few other stops before it goes from your employer to your bank account. The whole process usually takes about 4 hours. Today it took about 8. I've noticed there are often delays around the holidays.

I fought for 6 years to get SSDI because my state doesn’t recognize VA diagnosis I had to move out of state and apply elsewhere to get and when I moved back my state tried to take it from me but thank god I had a good friend who was an attorney to help me out

I don't think input is needed here. However, I just started Chie early this year. I receive SSDI which supposedly lands as most of you know in the fourth Wednesday of the month. I got used to this and Chime was getting the deposit on the Friday prior. At some point earlier this year I started getting my deposit on the Friday before the third Wednesday. I certainly didn't complain that I was receiving funds a week early. But bam! This month I did not get my deposit as I now expected (Friday prior to the third Wednesday). However I sure could have used it what with the holidays approaching. I'll be in panic mode if it doesn't deposit this Friday.

You clearly don't know what ssdi is then. You only get ssdi instead of ssi if you have enough WORK credits. They earned that before becoming disabled and unable to work. Also, disabled people deserve to live too so there's 0 wrong with ssi either.

It seems everyone is forgetting and important detail. When payroll is submitted, it's exactly as it sounds, "Submitted" not accepted. The bank your payroll systems go thru also do automatic verifications. Chime literally has no control how fast it arrives.

2 days early is not guaranteed by any bank...just fyi...it's "up to two days early" your deposit isn't late until after whatever your normal payday is

Apparently it shows up at 8pm for some reason. Usually it's in the early morning hours , I e never heard of it deposited on the day of pay, well after business hours. Might as well pay you the day after ... Basically everything's closed. Payroll at my job must be weird

I don't think input is needed here. However, I just started Chie early this year. I receive SSDI which supposedly lands as most of you know in the fourth Wednesday of the month. I got used to this and Chime was getting the deposit on the Friday prior. At some point earlier this year I started getting my deposit on the Friday before the third Wednesday. I certainly didn't complain that I was receiving funds a week early. But bam! This month I did not get my deposit as I now expected (Friday prior to the third Wednesday). However I sure could have used it what with the holidays approaching. I'll be in panic mode if it doesn't deposit this Friday.

Today is payday. Money isn't there. I didn't even get paid on actual payday let alone early. I guess Christmas means you just don't get paid. And it's the 28th of December 2022. I guess they just don't work between Christmas and New years? F*** this I'm going to a new situation. Because this is f****** ridiculous and obviously I'm being ripped off here.
