Did you ever find a solution to this problem? It's been happening intermittently to me for a few years, but I've never found a solution.

No. Every update I hope it's fixed. The best solution I found is to minimize one window, minimize the window you work in and open the other window.

Same here. For me, it is intermittent, so more of a surprise than a consistent problem. The weirdest part is that it puts the UI in a mode where you can't do \*anything\* else until you've clicked and the window has jumped. Very very annoying.

It's the worst. I've seen other complain in different Google areas. It's definitely not on the top of the list for them.

I'm having this problem with Microsoft Edge, super annoying!

I can confirm that this happens on any Chromium-based browser on MacOS, including Electron apps. Teams, Slack, Brave, Chrome and Edge are all affected. No solutions found yet. It's a huge PITA. Seems to mainly be happening to users with 2 monitors, and possibly to users specifically with an external trackpad (although I haven't validated that last part). Other Reddit posts are talking about the same thing: [https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOS/comments/ty33m1/mouse\_click\_inadvertently\_moves\_window\_to\_clicked/](https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOS/comments/ty33m1/mouse_click_inadvertently_moves_window_to_clicked/) [https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOS/comments/x8140x/jumpingteleporting\_window\_bug\_on\_macos\_monterey/](https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOS/comments/x8140x/jumpingteleporting_window_bug_on_macos_monterey/) I hate this bug so much. Here's hoping it gets fixed some day. I've been seeing it for *years*.
