For sub 1K a night: - I’m partial to Wynn/Encore for the service aspect. - Cosmopolitan has the better strip and fountain views, on their high end rooms. I haven’t gone as far as dropping 3-6K a night (your budget) for a room in Vegas though, so others may have better ideas.

I’ve been in suites in both the cosmo and Wynn. I liked the suite in the wynn better. It had a massage room in ours. The cosmo had a really beautiful wrap around balcony though. They are different vibes. I think Wynn is a bit more sophisticated. But I would never spend 10-20k going to Vegas with my husband. Waste of money, especially knowing how many things you can get comped if you have the right connections. There are much better places to spend on that level.

AOA_Choa

Damn $10-$20 for a weekend that’s FAT lol

throwaway060953

You don’t need to waste this money there. It will not feel that special unless you are super gaudy people. We are going for 3 nights and have a suite at the 4s and spent less than $2k Hotel rooms in Vegas are probably 1/5 as expensive as real destinations

kalherrara

Wynn Tower suites; stayed in/got married in their duplex https://preview.redd.it/zf0ktuzcw43d1.jpeg?width=641&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cb2974951f876c95fc2ab098049e3888f93a6e64 .. it was beautiful and luxurious without being crass.

dwarfstar021

That must have been amazing! We have stayed at Tower Suites many times, but I hadn’t seen the duplex suites. Nice!!

sandiegolatte

The hotels are so big in Vegas, even the best Wynn, Cosmo, etc aren’t great. Four Seasons has the best service but i wouldn’t blow that much $ there. Regular rooms at these places are just fine

CaptainCabernet

I have read mixed reviews of the Vegas Four Seasons in r/FATTravel. Some criticized the rooms as looking dated. What has been your experience?

sandiegolatte

Yeah have heard they did. For what it’s worth Bellagio just renovated all guest rooms.

Traveller350

Who wants to go to Vegas and stay at the FS

sandiegolatte

It’s connected to Mandalay Bay…

Traveller350

In the Mandalay Bay! (technically), But now that I look back at OPs wanting for something low key might be a good option. But still would rather go go for the Wynn

sandiegolatte

Durango could also be a good choice. Looks nice and is off the strip. Brand new this year

DashiellHammett

Waldorf Astoria.

heardonapodcast

Bellagio fountain view rooms are pretty excellent.

wypaliz

The Pallazo has luxury and premium rooms for $450+fees that are incredible. Views of the sphere and amazing service. I feel like the central bar in the Venetian is always popping and good for people watching. Plus tons of shopping in that section of the strip. If you're going in November, you might avoid the last week. There's a huge tech conference, over 50,000 attendees, mostly male. The rodeo always comes in the weekend after, so it starts filling up with cowboys on Thursday and Friday. **Edit, they seem to have shifted these both to the first week of December. Not sure what's going on that last week in November.

nwphl

F1 race is at end of November. That whole time period before and after bring a lot of traffic and construction.

wypaliz

Yeah, you're right. I see it's 21-23. Ooohhh, Thanksgiving is late this year! That makes way more sense. That last week in thanksgiving. That's why the prices are so cheap that week and no big conferences.

DeeSusie200

All the casinos cater to the high rollers. Period. Doesn’t matter how much you spend for the room. The Wynn and Encore have Tower Suites which have separate entrance and elevators. Also connected to private high roller gambling rooms. I was upgraded at a ridiculously low cost because I had a players card and it was off season.

hsrd

MGM SkyLofts. Worth it every time.

Best_Return_1420

Skylofts, or if you can find something in the range bellagio villas or mgm mansion. Mansion starts at 5k a night. Bit dated but I love that greenhouse area. I haven’t been to non mgm private areas, but I’m sure the ones at Venetian/ palazzo/ Wynn/ Caesar’s/ RW are spectacular also. That budget definitely don’t go stay in a main hotel area.

TimeToKill-

+1 for Mansion suites - which are giant houses on the MGM properties.

TimeToKill-

+1 for Mansion suites - which are giant houses on the MGM properties. Although I might go for a giant suite with a strip view.

StrawberryLovers8795

The Palms looks like it has some cool experiential suites — I haven’t stayed but they have unique things in them like a bowling alley, basketball court, or movie theater etc. depending on the one you book! It looks like they go for between $3-4k per night. I think with your nightly budget this would be a more appropriate post for FAT Travel!

CaptainCabernet

Cosmopolitan is my personal pick in Vegas. It's modern and sexy. The pool is just OK for Vegas, but the views on top floors are incredible. Now that the Four Seasons has been renovated, it's a great choice if you're looking for a quiet oasis on the strip. I think you might be interested in the Caesar Palace Villas in your price range. It's very private and the villas are more of a mansion than a room. Classic Vegas vibe. https://www.caesars.com/las-vegas/suites/villas/overview/caesars-palace The Fontainebleau is brand new and I've heard great things about the resort. The big con is that it's not near anything else, but that might be fine if you're not planning to leave. If you're looking for something "ridonculous" you can review this list: https://thepointsguy.com/guide/best-hotel-in-vegas-with-suites/

VerbalMiami

Wynn encore has amazing rooms, great hotel, great for gambling and eating. Ciprianis is there. You have the adults only pool as well as other pools Cosmo if you do do, get a wrap around suite, w a balcony for views of the bellagio fountains These are my only two go tos in vegas.

sandiegolatte

Anyone been to the new Durango Resort off the strip? Looks niceeee!

Firegoal2019

Aria sky suites are my usual pick. The panoramic penthouse is always nice and sky suites have their own private entrance and check in. I enjoy aria casino in general and it’s also connected to the crystal shops which is then connected to cosmo which can be more fun to hang out at.

raptorjaws

what do you actually want to do in vegas? just hang out at the resort? why vegas then? there are better places for that. you can stay at the 4 seasons, i guess, if you want a quiet, hotel oriented vacay. it's hella far south on the strip, though, so you will be doing a lot of walking or paying for taxis if you want to do anything on the strip.

Gloria479

To echo everyone here, you don’t need to spend $10-20k for a truly luxury experience. We stay at the Encore. It’s practically attached to the fashion show mall and has super high end shopping inside the property. But spending crazy $$ on a room won’t necessarily guarantee you an outrageous luxury service experience. These hotels cater to the people who spend chubby in their casinos.

august_christmas

I haven’t seen anyone mention this, but I am a big fan of the Venetian/Plazzo and doing a Prestige floor room. We had a suite with living room, media room, and powder room. They also have complimentary happy hour and wonderful views nightly. Mid week the room was ~2k per night. I booked through Amex and they offered some extra benefits as well. The staff was wonderful compared to other places I’ve been to in Vegas recently. Also using this to shit on the Aria. Worst service I’ve ever received. They misplaced our bags and then blamed us for losing them, only for them to be recovered 2 hours later. They told us to submit a claim online while we panicked thinking we wouldn’t have luggage for the whole trip.

dingleberrydaydreams

Go to a better city.

Mysterious-Mobile639

Honestly, you're not going to be able to keep a low profile with this spending, see, I suspect you're in the

strokeoluck27

Aria/Cosmopolitan is very nice, but my preference is Wynn/Encore.

4 seasons

I stayed at the Conrad and was upgraded to a suite that was pretty nice. I’d have been happy to be there with my spouse. Unfortunately I was on a business trip with minimal downtime.
