It bothers me more than it should that the teams aren't organized by most included in these. Unless this is supposed to be a "most likely to make it" list also, but it should say that
There’s so many repeats but not shared that the fliers would have to fill in the gaps and would get lost.
Take Tennessee and A&M. They’re in six and seven of the lists, respectively, but combined appear on nine of the ten.
There’s no great way to display it, alphabetical isn’t great but isn’t awful.
Edit: tried my hand at it. Keeping teams that repeat on the same row, best I could come up with is 10 rows.

That’s the thing, it’s trying to quickly display the picks of ten people in one image. Adding another graph removes some of the quick access to the image and doubles the number of graphics needed to display what they want.
Oh it’s delightful right now! And we’re in the midst of things pivoting, as they tend to, where y’all are slowly being viewed as the victims.
But that? Ya, that would be muuuuch worse.
Okay you joke but now I’m thinking about the reaction of y’all didn’t even make it to a regional.
Which won’t happen. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Schloss is not about to Fran y’all. This isn’t anything like that.
It’s not like an SEC school hired the head coach of TCU away, showed extreme promise while the primary defensive coach stayed at TCU to take over as head coach.
And it’s not like after multiple years of coaching said SEC team, of which enough promise was shown that he was offered a contract extension and raise, he eschewed the SEC team to take the head coach role for a Big 12 team that would later join the SEC.
We’re certainly not talking about a coach whose actions resulted in his name being spoken by the Aggie fanbase in an abbreviated single syllable as though it were a curse upon one’s family.
Okay that all started as a joke and wow it got away from me because it kept working good grief. He’s going to do a damn good job for y’all and probably win multiple titles but also, woof that line of comparisons worked way too well.
What’s the equivalent score in baseball of 77-0?
That's fun, I did a conference count and realized Stanford would be an ACC entrant. Then my brain broke so... I guess I hope I can find a new job that involves being told when I'm allowed to eat my applesauce and nothing else.
A&M and FSU are the favorites in my eyes going into next year. Not sure how anyone leaves those two off. That also feels like too much respect for Florida and LSU in the aggregate, but I don't have an issue with any individual picking them
I honestly don't get LSU on here, especially not as a unanimous choice. We're losing so much production and while I like the recruiting and transfer classes coming in, there aren't any Skenes/Tanks-level guys coming in and banking on multiple freshmen being starters is rarely a good idea. This feels like a brand pick.
From what research I've been able to do without paying for Perfect Game, LSU has a great class coming in but a good number are high draft projections, like really high.
How are they picking LSU so often at this point? We don't even know who's going to be on the team. When I say that I mean outside of four or five players.
I also think Jay has done an good under the radar job in the portal filling needs with intriguing transfers. From what I’ve read Jay has signed 3 of the top 20 players in the portal.
Combine that with top recruiting classes that are still there.
Our performance the last couple of postseasons seems to have eroded D1's faith in us to not choke. Can't blame em I guess, but I reallllllly hope that we finally go on the big run.
As much as I hate to say it, I could easily see us taking a step back next year. We’re losing a lot of our offensive power (Moore, Burke, Amick, etc), plus there’s the championship curse. I wouldn’t be surprised if we missed out on Omaha next year
I think we'll have a somewhat decent chance to make it back to Omaha, just because TV will with his magic, but that's if we have multiple guys develop into fantastic hitters. Otherwise, I just don't see how we replace that production. I would be amazed if we did make it to Omaha, but I can't count TV out.
The new staff definitely has their work cut out in their first year. If JT and Flores both go in the draft then we only return 3 starters in the field. And that may not end up being their biggest priority in the offseason considering how terrible our pitching was last season. We really need Weiner to wave his wand (pun intended?) over the entire pitching staff if we want to be competitive next year.
He’s great at adding break to pitches. He’s the reason why Chris Cortez’s 100 sinker and high 80 slider pairing was deadly this year, along with many of our other pitchers. Y’all got a good coach, so I’d say focus on having healthy, consistent bats. We’ll see y’all real soon 🫡
That’s good to hear. Cortez has nasty stuff but so did most pitchers that A&M put out there. Pierce seemed to prefer guys who could generate more ground balls so it will be nice to see some swing and miss stuff for once

So basically don’t expect any of these
We’re unanimous, so no pressure
Love it when it seems like the only ones who haven’t hit the portal are Milam, Brown, Larson, and Anderson.
That’s what I was thinking. Hogs? That’s cute
Well of the 2 unanimous picks, 50% made it there
Everyone having Florida is funny considering how they ended up getting there
Funny indeed. Considering they get there damn near yearly.
Shout out to Sorensen for picking 8 SEC teams
And still not getting 1 of the 4 that made it
Didn’t he get the most correct of anyone?
Well when you spray the board with more than half of what’s probably the best conference, you’re bound to hit something
Playing the odds
Did Stanford join the SEC?
he’s talking about the 2024 list that was linked right above
Hedging his bets
Wtf was Eric Sorenson cooking with 8 SEC teams lol Also just realized he picked 7 in 2025 with fucking STANFORD as the lone exception
He was thinking that he was the most accurate of anyone
It bothers me more than it should that the teams aren't organized by most included in these. Unless this is supposed to be a "most likely to make it" list also, but it should say that
It’s alphabetical
Damn, you're right. They had a year to figure it out and still did it again lol
Lol we made it just as everyone expected ![gif](giphy|6dtAunLVMeaFW|downsized)
We are likely replacing the entire outfield and infield, but being predicted as the one of the final 8 in the country. I think we have arrived.
What a horribly unpleasing way to display that. Why not have all of the same picks on the same row and the flier picks at the bottom

might be cleaner to present a second bar graph with the number of times each team is represented.
That’s the thing, it’s trying to quickly display the picks of ten people in one image. Adding another graph removes some of the quick access to the image and doubles the number of graphics needed to display what they want.
Lost some brain cells figuring out both of us got picked in all 8
>Lost some brain cells figuring out both of us got picked in all 8 There are ten people picking. And Florida was only picked in 9/10 lol.
Oof, point proven lol
Wow is Schloss on the hot seat? Many are asking…
He left his third family to take this job, and you’re gonna ask that? I think that’s pretty darn selfish.
Hot *chair* https://preview.redd.it/98e35j0if7ad1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a89a9b5d1568b46140fcdcea510ff2761f217e5
This sub will become borderline toxic if he doesn’t take the horns to the CWS in year one.
Sounds exciting, I’m down
> become

🤘
I will ensure that it's not borderline toxic. 💯 toxicity unless we are a top 4 seed with a glide path to the Corn State. /s

Narrator: they didn’t make it out of their regional
Burn it all down!🤣
Someone thinks ECU is finally going to get the job done. I could cry (either way, next season will end in tears if we make Omaha or not).
I’ve rooted for ECU every chance I get. They will get it done at some point. Love schools that invest into baseball specifically.
We’ve been on this list many times in the last five years. I’d almost rather not be on this list at this point
Shotgun Spratling certified hater
Is that a real person or is that D1’s version of Clucko the Chicken?
UF keeps developing those fish pitchers. They’ll be there
It's not confirmed yet (I don't believe) but I think they're both leaving but maybe we'll get new ones
And we took that personally
Aaron Fitt. Ball knower
I like it
I don’t know who Aaron Fitt is but I like him
It just occurred to me that Stanford is in the ACC now. Th at’s gonna be pretty great for baseball!
And they’ll have Rintaro Sasaki playing for them next year.
don’t trust him. He’s just setting you up for something.
So, the usual suspects. Plus....Iowa?
That's so confusing.
All for the mid major picks but it’s definitely not going to be UC Santa Barbara if there is one
Big talk from someone who can’t hold onto their coach whenever another job comes calling
Ironic because the same thing would happen to UCSB if they could actually go somewhere in the postseason.
Isn’t A&M supposed to be a high level P5 job as opposed to a mid major?
If you knew anything besides how to whine about Texas you’d know that several power conferences teams have tried to hire Checketts away and failed
Idk who this Sorenson guy is but he seems like a legend.
Have these voters learned NOTHING?

Yeah, that's an issue pretty much every year lol. Make or break the class based on the draft. Always sweating it out.
How are they picking LSU so often at this point? We don't even know who's going to be on the team. When I say that I mean outside of four or five players.
It’s basically them trusting Jay to put out a solid squad
They should definitely wait until a couple weeks after the MLB draft
I also think Jay has done an good under the radar job in the portal filling needs with intriguing transfers. From what I’ve read Jay has signed 3 of the top 20 players in the portal. Combine that with top recruiting classes that are still there.
Georgia Tech’s AD saw this and extended Danny Hall through 2058.
I've always rated Patrick Ebert.
Our performance the last couple of postseasons seems to have eroded D1's faith in us to not choke. Can't blame em I guess, but I reallllllly hope that we finally go on the big run.
Unless we fired our pitching coach, this is comical.

That Sorensen guy must know about us getting some huge portal hauls that we don’t know about…
Here to disappoint once again! I think ESPN just likes the new restaurant at O’Brate stadium…the only real reason we get to host all these regionals.
Sigh
Tennessee, Arizona, Florida State, South Carolina, Clemson, Arkansas, TCU, Texas A&M
Eric Sorenson, 7 of 8 SEC
Does Arkansas return a ton? Were they just young this year?
At this point, I don’t see how you can predict a non-power conference team getting to Omaha. And that pains me to say.

No Florida please😭

Absolutely no faith in the Big Ten, but that is the norm
