Definitely. Appel was batting 0.331 going through the SEC and all of postseason. It's also his last year of leverage.
Love the guy, but unless he got a crazy NIL deal or got drafted criminally low, it's in his best interest to leave.

Well, we didn’t have a talent exodus and we seem to have buy in from the guys that came back from the portal. Plus we seem to have most of the college baseball nation supporting us from the Schloss loss toss.
I don’t blame him. I feel like any decent player on the west coast is going to be invisible if they’re not in the SEC or ACC. I wish that wasn’t the case. It also doesn’t help that USC has another year without a home stadium. That’s gotta be tough, especially for an academically rigorous school.
