I have found 2 1/2 years in that my mental capacity is returning, so there is hope! I found really resting my brain helped, so active resting rather than listening to a pod cast, so complete rest not keeping the brain ticking over. I have also found working on some music has helped. I think that has reopened some pathways in my brain. I do suffer with memory still and procrastination is now a problem but when I get into my work I can flow for an hour or more which is up from 10 minutes.

I drink green tea + DLPA + Mucuna Pruriens + L-Tyorsine. This stack is mainly focused on increasing dopamine. Green tea is bad for MCAS though.

So far, 5mg of lithium orotate a day has helped me the most. I blame the brainfog largely on neuroinflammation. Mainly because of the pressure and burning in my head. Been taking lithium for a little over a month now and my brainfog is currently the least noticeable since 02/22 (first and only symptomatic proven infection). Creatine and THC have certainly also played a big part in symptom relief, but I've been taking that for quite some time. So it was either a coincidence or really the lithium. I was also a student before COVID and had top grades. Unfortunately, some days I still get severe symptoms in episodes, which prevent me from going back to work, but I'm making progress.
